Defense Against the Dark Arts (Shadows)

As one of the remaining active Shadows, I would like the opportunity to get some practice in instructing prospective Shadows, and anyone just interested in getting better at combating the Sith and the Dark Side. As the Shadows are getting a rework, I like the idea of them also being teachers on topics related to the Dark Side, so I'll also use this as a chance to test that idea out.

I'm working on an outline of the thread now, and I'll try posting a topic later today or tomorrow. I hope to see you all there. Bring all your questions and concerns, and I'll do my best to answer them.

at the current moment the old shadows are being reevaluated and reworked o prevent how many seem to enjoy flocking to the darkside.

some of the changes should be exciting hopefully

[member="Matsu Ike"] There hasn't seemed to be much progress on this front since I was away, so I'd like to get into something now and begin working out the details through IC interactions. I'm not doing any kind of mission, but just some training and instruction. Since I'm a Knight now, I'd also like to start teaching people things as this is one of my specialties as a Sentinel.

I'll go look up what all you guys had posted, but here's some of the issues I had with the old shadows. In the writeup, I was left with the impression that Silver Shadows were more like general assassins and hit men rather than specialists who hunted down Dark Siders. There also appeared to be little in the way of screening and oversight, which can lead to some cowboy behavior and becoming corrupted.

[member="Arisa Yune"] yeah it is kind of how it was. The originals used covenant shadows who were assassins, collectors and darkside artifacts and such from a corrupted offshoot of the order itself. When the silver shadows were created they were combined together along with temple guards to make this general amalgamation of a jedi made to fall. What we have now so far is always open to more improvements and refinements just need the proposal to be given and those within the ranks of the division will have a chance to train and teach.
