  Situated in the nexus of Corellia, between Coronet City and Tyrena, Dejah Navo's early years were illuminated with a richness that many yearned for - the wealth of unconditional love. Their family, a blend of human and Spilursian heritage, was neither affluent nor embraced by either community. Yet, in their modest bungalow by the ocean, nestled amongst the glistening sands of Corellia's golden shores, they found sincere solace. Love was their true wealth, their unity, their protective fortress.
  
  However, a cruel twist of fate lied in wait for this happy little family.
  
  A speeding hovercraft and a moment's distraction, suddenly turned the galaxy upside down. The faceless perpetrator flew off before they could be brought to justice, effectively leaving behind a wreckage of dreams and two orphaned young girls, left adrift in a world that had lost its former warmth.
  
  As the last ties to their family on Corellia were tragically severed, they sought refuge with their maternal grandparents on Spilursia. But the warm welcome they hoped for turned into a chilly rebuff and an abruptly closed door, but not before the derogatory term 'impure gutter fish' was hurled at the sisters, marking Dejah's first brush with blatant bigotry and the initial prick of feeling 'othered'.
  
  With no financial cushion to fall back on, Anthias and Dejah found refuge in a cave on a jagged seaside cliff. They cobbled together a life from the discarded refuse of locals and tourists, clinging to survival until Anthias came of age and secured a modest job at a diner nearby.
  
  After years of diligent toil and thriftiness, Anthias managed to accumulate enough to take them back to their beloved Corellia, but Dejah's life would be destined for a different path. Having manifested the Force in subtle ways over the years, Anthias recognized her sister's potential and secured passage for Dejah to be sent to the Jakku Enclave for training, hoping it would offer her sister the opportunities that had eluded Anthias herself.

  Dejah Navo, by definition, is an introvert. However, this introversion is not an inherent characteristic but rather a protective armor, one shaped by societal exclusion and a lack of formal education. As a result, the majority of her knowledge is self-obtained, extracted from the experiences of her older sister and the modest teachings of her parents before their premature demise.
  
  Despite not having a traditional education, Dejah is possessed of a relentless curiosity and an unwavering determination to understand the Galaxy on a deeper, more profound level. Her lack of conventional knowledge is counterbalanced by her resourcefulness and adaptability, often turning to unconventional methods to solve problems.
  
  Having been raised on the outskirts of society, Dejah's empathy runs surprisingly deep. A trait that developed over time from a combination of the Force and her experiences, often rendering her a silent observer of the world's diverse hues.
