PERSONAL HISTORY
Born in the underbelly of Bastion, Del virtually grew up jostling from one war to another. With her father being a backyard mechanic, Del quickly learned her way around ship intestines.
As an underprivileged girl who never even properly saw the outside world above certain levels, she longed to see the skies and stars. When she came of age, she clawed her way to the top to at least offer her services as mechanic to anyone that would take on a guttersnipe.
Eventually, she landed a mediocre job within the Naval Academy to fix flight sims, where she took her chances on the sims in the dead of night when the halls were desolate.
When the New Imperial banner finally flew over the planet, she finally saw her chance to effectively enlist into the Academy officially. The illegal time on the sims paid off, causing her to graduate, well exceeding expectations.
But she graduated straight into a next war, where she was thrust into the Starfighter Corps into the up and coming Dagger Squadron.

PERSONALITY
Del is a rough diamond, plain and simple. She has a heart of gold hidden beneath a sarcastic exterior. As a girl who grew up in the slums, filters in front of mouths didn't exactly exist, as she needed to stand her ground against all manner of undesirables by speaking her mind.
She is a bit of a hothead at times as well as exceptionally competitive. She's stubborn and not at all scared to get her hands dirty.

Del had fought her way into becoming quite the pilot. She knows her way around the controls of a starfighter and has the savvy to outwit opposition if she puts her mind to it.
+Fighter
As a girl born and bred in the underbelly of Bastion, Del knows how to throw a punch. Or a shiv. She doesn't easily back down, as backing down in the slums would at least give you the beating of your life.
+Mechanic
Delilah knows her way around the intestines of most ships. If there's issues on a ship, she can usually sort it out herself and doesn't have to wait on a repair crew.
+Softie
Del actually has a heart of gold. People suffering is a sore spot for her and she will do most anything in her power to put an end to the suffering.

She likes her sport. She continuously strives to be better and pushes herself to be the best - to prove that you don't have to be born with a silver spoon in the mouth to be an ace.

Del speaks her mind. It can often land her in hot water with superiors or against a foe. And she likes her cuss words, which can peeve people off even more.

She isn't exactly a veteran and still has a lot to learn. Which means that experience can still trump her skill in a dogfight.

Despite her skills as a streetfighter, Delilah is still a young woman, which means she can be overpowered if a strong individual can weather the hits.
-Not yet Deadeye
Del can use a blaster or rifle, but she's no sharpshooter. So taking a tick off a Vornskr's whisker at a klick out is out of the question.
