Private Delilah of Solus

Delilah of Solus
Location: Pzob, Remote Location.
Staring at the small glimmering piece of metal in her hand, Delilah had once felt a semblance of pride when she had this simple trinket on. It was ranking pip, the indication read the rank of a Captain within the Sith Armada, and the name Brujav had been coded onto the backside of it. It had been her identity for over a decade, and then suddenly, it was no longer relevant. The Empire was gone, her career nonexistent, and she was no doubt still listed as a traitor on one of the backlogs that perhaps still remained within the old archives. Assuming there was anything left of it. The warmth of the forge was felt through the protection of her gloves, indicating that she had been caught up in these thoughts for far too long. She had best get a move on.

It didn't matter however, as she felt confident in her choices thus far. Turning her palm downwards, the pip fell from her hand, and right into the center of the forge. Almost instantly, it began to boil, and melt, until it morphed into a single round disk of liquid metal, and it was then that Delilah began her work.

She hadn't made her full set of Beskar yet, as she had been waiting for a final touch to complete the armor, and this was it. The final symbol to show she was free of her past, and able to move on with no more regrets, or ghosts following her. Taking her tools, she began to shape the metal disk, working it into a symbol that had come to mean a great deal to her; the symbol of Clan Solus. Since meeting Stardust Solus Skirae Stardust Solus Skirae , she had finally felt herself be free of the burdens that her career had put upon her, and in time, she had learned to simply let them go. Which was why now, destroying what remained of her identity as a Sith slave was being reworked, as she morphed it into a symbol of her pride as a warrior.

In time, she would finish the signet, and retrieve it from the forge, and ever so gently apply it to the shoulder of her Beskar armor. The design had been that of the old Neo Crusaders, one that had fallen out of fashion for many a century, but Delilah enjoyed the aesthetic it brought with it.

With her task done, she stepped back and let out a sigh of relief. Somewhere close by, a certain Twi'lek was sure to be watching, and Delilah was almost certain that she'd be along shortly to take in the work she had done.
