Of all the stupid things he could be doing, this was the top of the list. Here he was, on Contruum. He had helps conquer this planet for the Sith, and now that they were all wanting his head, here he was. using a fake ID and wearing normal looking clothes, he hoped that nobody would find him out. it's not like anybody but that one tail-head had seen his face. But that was in the past and Lisnail was dead. Armed with only a handgun, he went to visit an old contact, had some info on Sith and their tracking of Vaulkhar and Dominik himself. He needed to know all he could so he wasn't caught again. Last time it had costed him an arm and an eye.

~~

He walked along the streets, a leather jacket and pants with a shirt was all he was wearing. Damn it, all the contact had to tell him was that they were close to finding him. No details, nothing. All this risk of coming down here for nothing!

The orphan's stomach rumbled. He needed to eat, but all the money he had was gone. He wasn't about to go searching in dumpsters for anything, that would be disgusting. He had to take the money from someone else. He didn't like it, but he couldn't get anywork, too young to do anything. He didn't show or explain that his force powers could help do labor. He was smart enough to know that if he did, the Sith would catch wind of it and take him. So here he was, living day to day. And he had found his target. A man in a black leather jacket, walking alone. He had to have some money on him, enough to get Dust a meal or two.

Skirting up behind behind the man, he felt with the force. Yes, he definitely did have money on him! And he knew just where. He ran up behind the man, knocking into him and simultaneously taking what money he had with a good sleight of hand. "Sorry!" Was all he said as he continued on his way.

Something knocked into him, and as Dominik's eyes turned from the ground, he heard a "Sorry!" from a small boy, dressed in a light blue shirt run around he corner. Kids, what could you do about the-... His credits! The little punk! stealing!

He gave chase to the kid, following the boy around corners and through streets. "Hey! Give those back!" He chased the kid into an empty warehouse of some kind, only to be met by the kid, looking very frustrated.

This guy wouldn't give up! No matter how many corners he took, the guy was right behind him the whole time, and catching up! He couldn't keep going. If he was caught, he might be thrown in jail if hes lucky.

Dustrig entered an empty warehouse, and turned on his heel to find the man right there. He just wouldn't give up! He stretched out his hand, and gave the man a push with the force.

Dominik felt the force push into him, moving him back a foot at best. He probably would have lost his footing had he not been trained by and around force users. But... This kid just used the force.. and he hadn't been found by the Sith. Either he was smart, or lucky. Either way, Dominik wouldn't let him fall into the hands of the dark side.

"Ok, Kid, keep the credits, but instead of you stealing them from me, let's say I pay you?"

The man only moved back about a foot. Dang! The very few other times he had to resort to it, they had lost their balance and fallen. not this guy. He was about to keep running when the man spoke.

"Pay me? ..for what?"

OOC: Too lazy to keep switching between these characters.

"I'll pay you to sit down and talk with me." Dominik walked forward into the building, then sat on the ground.

Dustrig, narrowing his eyes, slowly walked forward as well, and sat on his knees. "What do you want to talk about?"

"You, and your force abilities. You do realize that the Sith could find out about you at anytime and take you, right?"

"Yeah, I know. But I hardly use it. Not like anybody knows."

"Wrong. They know about everything. I bet they've been looking for you. Do you want to be a Sith?"

"Of course not! But, do I have a choice? I'm stuck here."

"No, you're not. You do have a choice. To come with me. I can take you to the Republic, to be a Jedi."

"A Jedi? I.. I don't know.."

"Trust me kid, I have personal experience with the Sith. You don't want to be one of them."

Dustrig sat there, thinking. Could he really get away from all this? If anything, he would have a bed to sleep on and food to eat..

"Fine. How soon can we leave?"

"I was planning on leaving the planet in a few minutes anyway. Come on." Dominik stood up from the ground, walking out of the warehouse, with Dustrig in tow.

They were in hyperspace, traveling towards Kashyyk. Dominik didn't know any jedi besides Joshua and that one padawan from the mirrorverse, but he had no clue where they were now. He did know of a Jedi enclave of Kashyyk. That's where he was taking the young boy. They were stuck in the small cockpit, but it was a good thing there were two seats.

"So, what's your name?" Dominik asked.

"Name? Oh... It's Dustrig. Dustrig Leomax." He had stayed quite since they left. It was just... so mindboggling. Just an hour ago he was stealing from this man, now he's taking him to be a jedi! What would happen next?

"Mine is Dominik Borra. Nice to meet you."

"Uh.. yeah."

They arrived at the enclave, the ship landing just outside. Dominik exited the ship, the cockpit retracting into the ship itself. Dustrig followed the man, all the way up to the front door of the enclave. Dominik knocked.

The enclaver was a small one. Few of the larger galactic events ever reached into it and thus for the time being Mantic was the only Jedi Master at the location. A padawan had found him in the meditation chamber to notify him on the newly arrived visitor by the door and he had made his way to greet them.

The door slid open with a shy hiss exposing Mantic to the light outside.

"Greetings," he bowed.

"How can the jedi be of assistance?"

[member="Dominik Borra"]

Dominik was greeted with a Jedi, and by his age, a Knight or a Master. Perfect.
"This young one has the force, and I don't want him to fall into Sith hands on Contruum. Would you be able to take him under your wing, and train him?" Dominik asked.

It was probably a big load for this Jedi, but hopefully he would be able to accept.
