Delta squad day one

Yutan
Day one
Stardust could feel the wind in her faces as she looked out over the ranged...several targets over several density's all ready for today, right in front of her were weapons ranging from simple video knives to large weapons used to pierce vehicles

She sighed and sent the message out ready to start when people showed up

[member="Etlan"]
[member="Acaleus Thorn"]
[member="Thoja Arlos"] (since he's leader of special forces )

Etlan was messing with his data pad, working on important financial stuff.... Nah, he was playing Tetris. Man, was he bored. So when the call came out for training, he jumped to it, changing from his civies into the Champio Armor he swore by. The rough old suit wasn't in the best shape but it was what he wore sense his Empire days. Smiling, he set the datapad down, but as he walked, he sent a reply to Stardust.

Please tell me there's stimcaf.

His ship landed on the outside of the reunion site that Stardust sent him. In a moment he approach to the room "Well im the first one to come" said the assassin stretching his arms to the sides "Do we have some coke or something to eat? Im hungry from the travel" asked the Twi´lek

Thoja Arlos

Grand Marshal Contemplation
Thoja had landed at the meet point, having been issued an invitation to greet the new recruits for Delta Squad. Walking up to [member="Stardust"] and [member="Acaleus Thorn"], he saluted both.

"I'm guessing that we're waiting for one more. Meanwhile, I haven't been introduced to you." Thoja reaches out his hand, offering to shake Acaleus's. "General Thoja Arlos, 228th Black Operations Division and Head of the GRSF."

Acaleus saw the other member arriving and after his presentation he smiled "Acaleus Thorn, assassin and ex-knight of the Obsidian Order in the Techno Union. It isnt the best presentation and i had to grab almost every title i could from the past to seem important" he laugh scratching his back neck and shaking the hand of Thoja

Etlan was late. He knew that when he saw three others standing at the meet sight. I really should uninstall Tetris. He chuckled at that. He heard the names, and he thought he recognized the first name, but not the second. "Etlan. Soldier." He wasn't much of one for formalities, although the crack at all their titles was something he enjoyed. Republic has a black ops division? That was news. Still, made sense. Every government had one. Doesn't make it right. The voice inside his head pointed out. But it kept him fed, didn't it? And they did seem to be the good guys? They weren't Sith, at least.

"So what's the plan for today?"

[member="Stardust"] [member='Thoja Arlos"] [member="Acaleus Thorn"]

The 6'5 twilek gave a smile as she saw everyone assembled as she stepped forward"titles from the past do not matter here what matters is that your Delta squad now "she said then grinned"but since we are using titles I am stardust pilot super soldier queen and leader of you two....thoja is my boss and I guess we can call him our advisor since he oversees the special forces"she said as she gave another smile"plans for today are simple, we will get to know one another and train side by side some of you signed up for certain positions which is good however as a commando you'll be able to use every weapon at least proficiently "she said and looked to [member="Acaleus Thorn"]"I made sure in advance to have some bantha burgers made still cooking it seems "she sais and looked at the two not a bad set up both deemed experience...she hoped"and since food isn't ready we can start by you two telling me what you signed up for"she knew but she wanted to know if they remembered

[member="Etlan"] [member="Thoja Arlos"]

Etlan smiled at the mention of food. But he cocked an eyebrow. "Unless my entire set of skills changed overnight, I should be a techie." Slicing, drones, automation, and maintenance. That was what they had taught him. "So how much of today is standard soldier training? Because I've been through more grueling training than most soldiers can dream of." He would have shuddered if he didn't break off from the thought to look over the table of weapons, cataloging them in his HUD. Some he could use, some were foreign to him, but he'd have to learn. After all, if someone went down, someone had to cover for them. He may as well be able to do it.

"Well i was bored, basically. One day you wake up and think why not. After the fall of the Techno Union, i was wandering the galaxy scavenging anything i could, creating a company. Joining the Galactic Republic is better than joining the Sith or the Jedis. I dont follow their beliefs of what they think its good or bad" Acaleus force pulled a napkin "But after a Sith slave me as a gladiator i created a little hate against them. So you have me here. A loyal assassin that knows how to create cool items"

[member='Stardust'] [member='Etlan'] [member='Thoja Arlos']

Thoja Arlos

Grand Marshal Contemplation
"A force sensitive assassin on the team will give a good edge, and once the team is fully brought together, the others will have to compliment your skills. As for training, you'll do as much as [member="Stardust"] deems necessary, you need to be able to use all weapons possible, and to work as a squad effectively." Thoja responds to both remarks, before turning to Stardust. "Is everyone here? May the training begin?"

[member="Etlan"] @Acaleus

She gave a grin to [member="Thoja Arlos"]'s responses to the two before as e turned to him"first part isn't really training just o much for me to see what they can do then after that comes the fun part, I'll assume you have training droids around her somewhere"she said whispering to him on the second part before she looked to [member="Etlan"] and [member="Acaleus Thorn"] before she got loud"ALRIGHT MEN I WANNA SEE WHAT YOU CAN DO SHOW ME YOUR SKILLS IMPRESS ME DOUBLE TIME GO!"She said and stepped back to watch with thoja as she gave a smile"quite a team I've assembled huh? A techie and a bored ex slave....I had one other person but she couldn't show...she had a job else where...I'll just be more intense on her next round eh?

Thoja Arlos

Grand Marshal Contemplation
"You need to show your men that you're in charge. When they are called upon, they drop all that they are doing and follow you. Also, you need a full team. 3 people works, 4 is better, and full team will make you the best you can ever be." Thoja responds, watching the new recruits. He looks back to @Stardust. "Didn't expect you to be so tall by the way."

[member="Etlan"] [member="Acaleus Thorn"]

Leading by orders, not example. This'll be fun. He scowled under the helmet, quickly moving to the table without so much as a word. His hand slid over the handle of the first weapon he saw that he liked. The heft was something, but at least this was something he knew well. The bolter sang out in three shots, each striking a target, before he emptied the clip into a long range bombardment on the farther targets. Setting the weapon back down, he moved on, Shouldering a blaster rifle-like weapon and squeezing the trigger. Combat training was still there. That was good. But he wasn't done. He lowered the rifle, quick drawing a pistol from his side and firing twice. There was a quiet Pfft twice as the slug thrower went off. Holstering it, he set down the rifle and gave it a quick inspection. Factory new. Hmm. Preforming a heel turn, he saluted.

Acaleus stood up and touched the finger tips of his hands. His knowledge of the force was about concentration, will and imagination. He ran towards the closest wall he had and with his fingers he started climbing it, leaving marks of claws sunk all over the wall. He couldnt use the force as a glue to attach himself, but after some training, he managed to accomplish the thing he was doing without making a sound. Once he was on uphigh, he boost himself using his legs and fly through the air, turning on his wrist lightsaber, for in the last second before landing, he force pushed a chair, cutting it in half. The two parts went in between Acaleus after he landed "How was that performance?" asked Stardust and Thoja.

[member='Stardust'] [member='Thoja Arlos'] [member='Etlan']

She watched the two and gave a smile noting the two, one was a true soldier who's shots hit every target she could see, the other was a skilled force user who knew something she'd be interested in learning herself

She looked over to [member="Thoja Arlos"] and gave a nod before she looked at the two"outstanding work you two that is all I needed to see [member="Etlan"] I noticed you pick up the new gun I had bought seemed you were familiar it"she said and then looked at acaleus"that was a good show of your skill though next time pull a target and not a chair"

The soldier nodded at her remark. "Mk.1 Bolter. Standard weapon of the Omega pyre elite troops. Word of advice: If you're shot at by one of those, find something stronger than Durasteel for cover." He frowned, remembering the horror the bolter had wrought on the battlefield. Those instances had been rare, but they had happened. His left hand was shaking. Probably visible outside the armor. He clenched his fist, trying to stop the shaking. Nervous habit. He hated thinking of his previous service. Too many horrors. More in 24 hours than most saw in their lifetimes. Mounds of corpses, people withering quickly as their life was sucked out of them... No. He had to stop thinking about it. He needed to focus. "Always liked using the Bolter. Never cared to fight them, though." Crap. That may give his past away, if they didn't know already. His hand started shaking again. He clenched harder.

[member="Stardust"] [member="Thoja Arlos"] [member="Acaleus Thorn"]

"[member="Etlan"] you need to chill. Past is the past and it can be a weigh during a fight" said after seeing his hand shake "Oh and excuse me, i will pay for it later" said laughing, scratching his back neck "Its a technique that my master Sor-Jan Xantha thought me and i managed to transform a little. Using the force in your own body. If you can form a force shield, why not something much lower and precise?"

[member="Stardust"] [member="Thoja Arlos"]

Stardust turned as she looked to [member="Etlan"] getting a feeling from him as she placed a hand on him and sent a calming wave of the force before speaking "he is right the past is past but I understand the horror will forever live in your head...what keeps us strong is pushing forward and not giving up ...even when the odds are stacked... because that's what commandos are"she said with a smile then looked back to [member="Acaleus Thorn"]"gonna have to teach me that seems pretty cool

Thoja Arlos

Grand Marshal Contemplation
"Impressive [member="Etlan"], you're skills and knowledge are a great asset. But don't stay trapped in the past, or the present will leave you behind." Thoja said, before looking to [member="Acaleus Thorn"]. "Your skill with the force will be extremely useful in the field, especially if you catch your target by surprise." Waiting a moment more, he then turns to @Stardust. "What else do you have in store for the men?"

"Am I really that transparent?" he asked, pausing fore a moment, a scowl forming on his face. "Or did you read my mind." It wasn't said like a question. Sighing, he tried to relax. These aren't the sith. They're different. He repeated it to himself over and over. Some part of him still refused to believe it. He turned back to the table of weapons, trying to memorize them, trying to cool his anger. He cataloged them, by type and use, noticing a few overlaps. "We may not need all of these. Many of them are the same use." Turning back to the commanders, he frowned. So why keep more than what's needed.

After all, he'd rather carry the bolter than a rocket launcher. Less weight for a similar job. While heavy armor would be a problem, it could do most of what they needed for half the weight.
