Strengths:

• Gunship: The Demon class is a gunboat pure and simple, designed to lay down fire on enemy cruisers
• Point Defense Turrets: Useful against both missiles and small fighters, this is one of the first lines of defense.

Weaknesses:

• Sluggish: While possessing a decent amount of speed for a ship of its size and armament, the ship is not very maneuverable
• Fire Arcs: The ship is most effective at a full broadside, but its sluggish turn rate allows faster cruisers to evade fire.

Description: The Demon-Class cruiser is designed as a gun-boat, able to lay down heavy fire against enemy cruisers, and dissuade them from approaching the cruiser cluster of the Octarchy Battlegroup. Commonly deployed four at a time, two ships escort each of the twin Covenant-class Carriers. Coated in Durasteel, covered by Deflectors and sporting a point defense system, the Demon-class ships are tough to take down. They do not sport hangers of any kind, instead taking on passengers or supplies via docking rings. As such, they are unable to launch fighters of their own to ward off bombers or strike fighters.

[member="Voph"], as a heads up (and you don't necessarily need to edit this), but this is slightly overpowered by a single rating. This is likely because at 500 meters, there is no difference in the hangar rating from "none" to "very low", as they're both "0 squadrons" so to speak.

That's a fair point. I've backed Defenses down to "Very High" to compensate.
