Deryn's DL-44 has been enhanced to compliment his abilities. He gets up close and personal, tanking most hits while dealing out the most damage as he can. As such, the blaster is geared towards sheer firepower as he disregards the help of a barrel-sight. The recoil, with his superhuman strength and grip, does not bother him at all, rendering it null. In the end, he remains rather accurate due to his tempered skills and his strength.
