Description: A large, almost gothic style castle, Desdamoni is the home and workplace of Dr. Tyrne Desdamonus. A former Sith Academy, the castle's halls are littered with debris, old weapons, and carbon scorching, signs of a battle fought years ago. Upon entering the castle, there are three main walkways, which lead to the old chambers of the students that once resided there, the neglected training area, and the library and laboratory. The chambers are coated in dust and skeletons lay on the floor, put to rest over a decade ago. Many empty room sit eerily, the vacancy of noise almost maddening. The training area is likewise deserted and left with the remnants of a great battle, an empty courtyard where silence yet again prevails. The library and the laboratory are sealed off, but if one could find his or her way around the magnetized door, they would be in horror at the sight of it. The library has become The Doctor's workplace. Holocrons and ancient texts literally cover the floor, and navigating the cavernous chamber is a pain, although there is a wealth of knowledge to be found. In the laboratory, there are two separate sections: the beast pens and the experimentation wing. In the beast pen, animals of all species are confined to cages, where various procedures are done to the poor creatures in an effort to enhance and isolate desirable traits in them. In the experimentation wing, about 100 Human men and women of various ages reside. They are each in various settings, some in holding cages, while others are in old rooms converted into pens. Scientific equipment is everywhere in this wing, and the shrieks of the damned echo in the dark passageways. This is where Dr. Desdamonus conducts his bizarre and cruel experiments in an effort to improve and perfect the Human race. Outside the castle, there are several courtyards, each neglected, with various dying vegetation lying about. The castle itself seems to be in a state of darkness, and one who wields the Force can sense the corruption in the area, the taint of the Dark Side.
History: Formerly an estate of a forgotten nobleman, the castle stood empty for years until a Sith Academy was founded inside of it. Under Desdamonus, it now lies empty again, with a vastly different purpose.
Intent: To provide an environment to RP and a base of operations for my character.
