In recent years the Mithrax tribe has expanded outwards into the galaxy, moreover, they are exploring new territories never before seen by a Cha'ta'ri. From there came the reason to developed this new kind of scanner. Bovos Tivken a well-skilled mechanic for the Mithrax thought of the idea for this machine on his exploration to Tatooine, where he had the need for local maps to get acquainted with the area.
The Detailed landmass scanner can easily be attached to a ship of any kind. From there the machine is controlled by a computer that is connected using cabals. The detailed landmass scanner will then commence and scan the surface of a planet. Accurate maps are transferred to a computer from where the operators can see 3D projections of the landmass investigated.
The Detailed landmass scanner can be employed by Cha'ta'ri to map areas in which they intend to hunt, these machines can also improve the planning of movement for the mobile carbon freezers.
