[Dev Thread][Training] Songs of the Sirens: Chapter II

Saera Willamina Savan

~+--- Skaidra ---+~ Beskarsmith, Alchemist
Two years had passed.
The fauna and the flora there both stood again.
The young Saera held out her hand just as asked.
Their castle on Serpena was long gone, lost to the Fringe Lords' reign.
The girl's solemn eyes slowly opened, gazing back upon her mother.
In her gaze lay eyes like Krayt pearls.
Saera hoped her returned inquisition hadn't been a bother.
Such was just how destiny unfurls.
"Mother Circe," she asked, "teach me again about the White Current."
Saera, to her training would not let time be a deterrent.

In Umbris Potestas Est
With snuggles she approached her girl
more emotional by the minute.
"Darling, I'll teach you about the Current,
how to fight a Force-user and win it."
Her option here to do such work
left her spirit torn and tattered.
Still, she loved her baby girl
and because of that, it mattered.
"Focus hard, my darling,
on what you want to most make.
It could be anything at all...
Perhaps a piece of cake?"

In stark contrast they hailed from two different realms.
The Mistress' daughter was of a lighter shade of soul.
All that bore witness to their conspiracies were tall and mighty elms.
Nigh could the young mistress-in-training fathom the Darker Lady's goal.
"Mother, I don't understand."
The young girl pouted.
She continued to hold out her hand, now both, to focus as planned.
Perhaps she'd do better to envision the journey, not the destination, but it was that journey she doubted.
All young Saera felt was the gentle breeze.
Her eyes closed to feel the world around her.
Her ears caught sounds of the rustling leaves of trees.
All she wanted was her beloved parents by her side, the only thing they could concur.

Circe raised a hand
within which a glass formed.
"It just takes concentration, honey,
like it did when you were born."
She smiled and for a moment
recollected her conception:
just like a dream within a dream
that some would call 'inception.'
"Come towards me," she gladly said,
her arms open wide.
"Perhaps if we cuddle,
you'll understand how, deep inside."

"Mommy," she jested, "I think it was more than cuddling you and Mommy Aynea were concentrating on when I was, err, 'made'."
She wondered, how could the White Current be helped by cuddling?
In truth, it was her mothers, to each other, 'getting laid.'
It was then that it all came to her, suddenly less befuddling.
The young Vinferalathi had only wanted her mothers dearest.
They also held the same desire for each other.
She then turned to the one whom was nearest.
It was all a matter of trading one concept for another.
The girl's eyes closed and her mind came open.
Like the shifting ties, the Force she felt rise and fall.
Her small-framed body fell into her mother's, arm in arm, pray a good omen.
It so had it, she had her mother's gift - she was her part-clone, after all.
What young Saera had formed was a watery clone of [member="Enigma"].
The girl was progressing well for a first-time practitioner.
However, the clone was loose and opaque, more a sort of stigma.
At least it had proven she was a good cuddler and a better listener.

In Umbris Potestas Est
"Well..." She paused,
wondering here and now.
Should she explain the birds and bees?
How a calf's made from bull and cow?
But then again, Saera's creation
had little to nothing to do with sex.
It was more a combination of science
along with a potent Sith hex.
"You've done quite well so far, sweet thing."
Her mother such supported her interest.
If she was here and OOC,
she'd put it up on Pinterest.
"That's good, that's good," she stated,
"She's not at all half-baked."
And now it was time to detail the illusion
So it wouldn't look so faked.

Saera Willamina Savan

[member="Enigma"], it seemed, had a decent sense of rhyme.
However, she couldn't end a sentence properly to save her life.
Poetry was, for Nyxie, a favorite pastime.
The lack of periods and liberal interpretation of what a 'sentence' is had cut her eyes like a knife.
Back on the subject of Saera's training, she knew what procreation was naturally.
She wouldn't have made the comment if she wasn't already aware.
The irony was that while her birth was natural, her conception was not actually.
That was, of course, unless birds and bees came out of cloned embryos, she'd dare.
Concerning Saera's lack of detail, only with time came skill.
Even a girl with natural talent, with practice made perfect.
For now, the young Vinferalathi simply did it for the thrill.
The illusory clone of Circe could be excused of its neglect.
"Mom!" Saera gleefully inquired, "Are you up for a little wager?"
"I bet yours was just as bad at first," she said and stuck out her tongue.
"You should make an illusion of me! I don't see the danger."
Circe's only risk was being a few credits poorer if her clone was dung.

Circe expected snuggles
as her victory decree
and as Saera made the wager,
she smiled and said, "We'll see."
Then through a maelstrom of power
drawn straight from the Dark Side nexus
came an image of whom the Ewoks said:
"That crazy schutta vexed us!"
While initially perfect,
her black-haired locks
quickly changed to white
as she now looked like a fox.
Within seconds of artificing,
Saera was not alone.
For standing right in front of her
was a perfect fox-plant clone.
"Well, my sweet," said Circe,
"I suppose you lost this struggle."
Then she opened her arms quite wide,
and said, "Now... let's snuggle."
