- RAW POWER: The Isotope-5 Power cell is internally integrated with the Rifle. Giving the weapon accouple extra features that boost its performance. For one it reduces the time required to reload. The Gas canisters are the only ammo required. Like wise the T-33 Radiation within the canisters aid the beams against shields. Weapon cannot puncture through shields nor can it be reflected but it can considerably weaken shielding over several shots. The M5 is capable of gradually damaging medium rated vehicles but shines in the area of combating infantry and heavy assaults.
- Earth Quake: The beams shot by the WESTAR M5 are very unstable, in part due to its inherent make up, the beams shot by the weapon explode in a low-yield burst apon contact. Be it physical, shields or even that of a lightsaber the result remains the same.
- Noob-tube: The WESTAR M5 is equipped with CSPL-12 Grenade Launcher located on its under belly and is compatible with many different types of ammo. Dependent on the occasion and users preference. - "Maximum Fire Power!": This version of the WESTAR M5 allows the user to switch into alternate firing mode. The isotope-5 power cell can be overclocked with the press of a button. Stressed it ejects overcharged particles beams that yield greater burst radius and more potential damage. In this firing mode the WESTAR M5 switches to a safety mode and cuts the amount of energy it can give off. Three hundred fifty rounds is sudden chunked down to 50. To this effect the rate of fire becomes locked to single fire. During this mode the weapon can generate more heat and can frequently over heat, causing the weapon to stall.

If the inertial inhibitor was damaged, the power cell poses a higher risk of rupturing and violently self detonating.

For years the WESTAR M5 has proven to be a useful weapon in war and combat. Historically said to be used during the clone wars. The a notable latest edition to the weapon being REC-DC/05 Particle Blaster Rifle; Hawk-bat pattern made and used by the Galactic Alliance. Continuing the legacy of the WESTAR M5, The Devastator Series was introduced. Different from its past kin the Devastator was designed as a heavy assault particle beam rifle. During its creation the saying "High risk, High reward." was tossed around greatly and to this end that is exactly what the weapon showcases. Powered by a Isotope-5 power cell the weapon is undisputed in its destructive capabilities and potential. Showcasing a rather impressive increased maximum range of 450m, a ammo capacity of 350 and the ability to function underwater. The Devastator series- WESTAR M5 drastically tips the scales. Isotope-5 opened to the door to many possibilities, one being a reduced reload time and the other being the ability to overlock the power cell itself. The process stressing the Isotope-5 for a short time and producing a overall stronger and more unstable beam of energy. The rounds spat out from the Devastator yield double the energy compared to normal and amplify the burst explosion yielded on contact with its target. Exploding superheated plasma all over the target. This is were "High Risk, High Reward" comes into play. While Overcharged the Devastator has shown several times that it will over heat and stall the weapon briefly. The Isotope-5 power cell is durable but volatile and could be prone to rupturing. To prevent this a inertial inhibitor was installed for further safety, but it there was ever a chance this feature was damaged and the cell ruptured. The after math would be deadly.
