This question mainly is for both of you and I raised it to momma Spencer earlier in Skype. With development threads been limited to one submission dose that expand over both sections?

Per example a unique piece of tech that is also a building. Before I submit this building into the factory I do a development thread where it's built at a location. Would we be able to then use that development thread to back a location submission and a tech submission? This has been a matter that's bugged me for the past few days as I've been thinking about doing something that would require both.

I allow dev threads to be used for multiple submissions so long as the posts are relevant.

I cannot speak for the factory, but if someone wants to investigate a world they are dev threading and include meeting the species there too that's OK with me.

Yes. It's nearly impossible to keep track of development threads between the factory and the codex unless we have both sections policing the other. As long as your development thread fulfills whatever it is you wish to use it for it should be fine.

You just cannot use it for more than one factory submission.

Just to clarify, because I am dense like that: as long as one thread is relevant to multiple factory submissions, it will be allowed as development?

You may recycle a dev thread once. So if x thread is relevant to 3 of the submissions you want to enter, you may only use it for two.
