- Protiac Thruster Mark III - A proprietary thruster used in United Industrial / UTA vehicles.
- Accelerates Easily: You'll be keeping up with the competition easily (unless everyone else is riding a DFS100, that is).
- Drifts Easily at High Speeds: The bike has braces on the left and right hand sides that help to keep the bike travelling when it is tilted at an angle, which is where the rider expects to find themselves when they are racing on a professional track.
- Boost, Baby, Boost!!!: The Protiac thruster is state-of-the-art, and the boosts will make you think you're traveling in hyperspace!
- Professional "R" Class Swoop Bike: On straightaways with boost, the bike can reach speeds of up to 600km/hr in less than a second.
- Difficult to Maintain: The DFS-100 tends to break down easily - or is that because you rip the throttle everywhere you go?
- Reoutfitting Time: The DFS-100 needs significant time between races. That means, one race per day. But, the technicians at the race track do a good job. What's that? It broke down on the side of the road? Better have a swoop mechanic ready, because it'll take all day.
- Vulnerable to Kinetic Damage: The bike is built with a lightweight race frame, and so playing rough will dent it - and then break it.
- Vulnerable to All Types of Damage: Lasers, explosions, fire, electricity, ion storms, and even rain will affect the swoop's performance.
- The Most Stolen Swoop Bike on Dantooine: Yup. Better buy that anti-theft module for another 1000CR, or get some good rider insurance.
- No Armament Slots or Storage: Fearing that the criminal interest in the DFS100 would be bad for the company, UTA quickly and quietly removed any armaments on the DFS100. The company reasoned that "swoop races don't need them".
The DFS100 is a standard swoop racing bike used on Dantooine. It is manufactured by "Dantooine's Finest Ebikes", which is a project of the United Trade Authority of Dantooine. It is built for the rider's comfort, and it is also built to be a winner. Featuring the cutting edge Pontiac III Thruster Technology, the DFS100 can reach 600km/h in less than a second. The speed and maneuverability of the DFS100 has been likened by professional swoopers to be like, and we are quoting here, "piloting a small spaceship through a pin-sized hyperdrive needle at the maximum possible velocity". The racing stirrups for the rider's legs also allow for all kinds of maneuvers that wouldn't be possible on a regular old swoop bike. The bike costs a pretty penny, and customers at salvage markets are constantly reminded that if they have to ask about the price of the DFS100, they probably can't afford it. Because of the long-standing prevalence of swoop gangs on Dantooine, the DFS100 is the most stolen swoop bike on Dantooine, giving it an unfortunate reputation when spotted on the streets. All in all, the DFS100 is a dependable and fast racing swoop.
