Diamond in Disguise

Spencer had arrived on Alderaan a few days ago. She set up a little operation in a small hotel room, there she would tape up information that she had gathered from the various people. It had come to her knowledge that the girl she was looking for was actually the princess of this planet. Spencer cursed Ashin for a minute giving her this task, but realized it would be a perfect place to test her illusions. Spencer gathered in formation on the women in waiting of the Princess and quickly assumed one of their identities. Her face covered with the illusion slowly made into the castle.

Wandering the halls she looked for the girl, there were only so so so many places she could be. Her force signature was masked with the necklace Ashin had given her; the woman was blind to any force user and her face masked with the illusion. Seeing the other ladies, she slowly made her way into following them, hopefully towards the Princess.

Kiyala found herself meditating in the castle's courtyard communing with the force, she knew she was of the dark but her visions had shown her this was only temporary. She was a prophet and as such she should remain unbiased and allow the galaxy to move on it's own only effecting things when they were less than favorable as a whole. She over the years have grown to her own measure of strength but she still held a long road before her. Her eyes fluttered through it's force induced trance, it was the only way she could deal with being home in the castle. A major fault of hers being restlessness, she felt her magic with her as always now she had held a greater understanding of the Sith talents of the force. She felt a disturbance, not directly stemming from Spencer as she was cloaked by her amulet but from the strife she caused from the delegate she now replaced.

This was enough to spur her out of her meditation albeit having causing a great sense of irritation to her sense of being. She found herself walking down the walk ways of the castle wondering what was going on and why if apparently something did occur were the royal guard not alerted. She grew angry almost intensely so as these fools were not fit to guard her parents, but she had to catch herself in that thought. They were not fools but merely the people she was gaining power to protect as they couldn't truly protect themselves. She saw a woman walking alone in the corridors and that seemed odd enough in it's own sense because she didn't host any of the miltary ranking of someone high enough to walk the castle alone.

"Excuse me, but these hallways are reserved for the royal family. Allow me to escort you back to the visitors area." In reality she needed no such allowance as she was the princess and besides mother and father her word was law here.

Spencer smiled awkwardly, how quickly she was discovered. Seeing that keeping up the disguise wasn't going to be the best for her, she dropped it quickly. The brunette hair and the older features disappeared showing the youth and blonde hair that would have been plastered around the republic and any other bounty boards. She brought her index finger up to her lips and she bowed slightly to the Princess.

“I understand I’m not supposed to be here, but I feel we have some things to discuss. From what my information tells me you've been accepted into my Ma'dri's clan.”

Extending a hand she hoped the offer of peace would be accepted and the two could discuss some things. Spencer kept her mind aware knowing that the girl had been learning the ways of the witches. Spencer never had the talent to perform the spells the women were talented in, but the force was strong with in her.

She was somewhat jealous of the girl, being accepted as an outsider to the clan. Why couldn't they do the same to her lover?

“My name is Spencer Jacobs, First Apprentice to the Empress your majesty.”

Kiyala was shocked as the illusion fell away and internally cursed herself out for not being more aware. However, her face had to remain emotionless as her training had instilled in her, she wondered what would Spencer Jacobs be doing in her palace. At first parts of her thought that she might be here to kill her, maybe her alliance with the witches had angered the Empress. It was when this thought occurred she took a step back, but upon hearing how she spoke it rather quickly disarmed the girl. She quickly attempted to grab the ladies arm and whisk her back to her room before anyone did alert her father about this. Once inside she would began to speak "I know they have told me your story as somewhat of a cautionary tale but trust that I still hold respect for you cause you followed your heart instead of what may have been traditional. You see I am an outsider with the Sith and the Empire because I know what matters is what lies in my heart."

Why else would she be a witch and yet apart of the Sith as well. She had been having visions from a young age that told her she would be needed to defend her homeworld and those she care for. It was a harsh burden at first but with her training she began to see more and more how possible it was. She laughed when she said your majesty "Spencer call me Kiyala if anything were both princesses, you of the sith and me of Alderaan. But anyways what is it you wish to speak to me about?" As she finished she idly sat back on her bed, notably not being as stiff around Spencer as a typical Sith was but merely knowing she'd see the danger before it happened brought a sense of peace in all situations.

"I'm sure you'll give the Empress my greatest regards then." She said with a light smile, before her eyes went to the skies of her glass ceiling.

Spencer smirked while finishing her transition. The Illusion was something she specialized in during her training. It had come in handy several places besides sneaking into a castle, she had escaped Meric with the disguise and if something goes crazy here she’d do it again. The princess though was something different; Spencer had expected some sort of fight when she revealed who she was. It’s hard to perceive some people despite the fact she could feel every ounce of emotion coming from those around her.

Hearing that she was like a Princess to the Sith, the thought made her smile as she figured it was because she was the apprentice to the Empress. Arms folded in front of her as she leaned back on a wall and listened to the younger girl. She was far wiser than anyone she had met and that included Spencer as well. The memory of her younger self was quite stubborn and alone, Spencer didn’t sense the childish nature from the girl which was a good thing and made her job a bit easier.

“It seems my reputation is being used as a story to tell the youth, I don’t know if I should feel honored or ashamed. Either way, even if I’m banished Dathomir is my home and you are one of my sisters. You have my loyalty if that means anything after you know my story.”

Nodding her head slightly she showed the respect to the royal; Spencer didn’t see them as equals. She never put herself on a pedestal to be admired or respected. The girl did as she was told and ran the errands her Master provided her with. Standing straight again, she looked up at the ceiling. She wanted one of these ceilings if she ever settled down – preferably she wanted to settle when Ashin settled.

“As for the order of business, the Empress seeks to know some of the knowledge you know. I personally would rather get it from you of your own free will though I do have other means. Please don’t take that as a threat – no harm will come to you. I need to know what you’ve learned with the Lost Tribe of the Sith a traitor is their leader.”

Pausing, Spencer looked back down at the girl.

“The Empress doesn’t see you as a traitor for following the man during your time with him, she sees you as a valuable asset to the Empire.”

The seriousness of the the First Apprentice's questions drew Kiyala eyes from the sky. A part of her didn't want to reveal any information but not because of any feelings of loyalty to such an order but for wanting to keep her knowledge as only her knowledge. Though, she should have suspected that one day not only would the Empress have known of her exploits and come knocking for word on what she'd been up too. So with a sigh Kiyala leaned back on her bed before saying "To be honest I have nothing much to report on, their numbers are significantly lower than ours. They have a few heavy hitters but not much, I merely want to learn how to bind spirits besides the basic sith talents he's taught me." And Kiyala figured she was getting closer to getting Reyven to teach her such things, and it amazed her that she's never asked Kiara to simply teach her.

"It warms my heart to here of the Empress' and your good tidings. I wish I could be more of a help but besides training I'm not told enough as I'm not strong enough I guess to do whatever their planning. I would not that I wouldn't be worried about it considering their relatively lack of a backing, but I understand why it's important to know. Also you can assure the Empress that if she allows him to live long enough that I will end the traitor myself." She said some of her darker side showing for s brief moment before her force signature would return to the median. "I can not promise your family back but when I ascend in strength enough will be reviving the Scissorhand Clan and you as well as the Empress will be welcome and 'protected' while in my territory." She knew it wasn't ideally what Spencer wanted but she thought atleast if Spencer could get allowed planet side again then she could handle the rest herself.

"But could I not merely discuss these things between the Empress and yourself or am I not capable of meeting the Empress?"
