Essentially a vehicle for the DIANA A.I., the DIANA Android is capable of acting as a personal and physical interface with users, able to operate computer systems, fly a starship, or perform any of a number of actions and tasks. Equipped with massive databases enabling it to act as an executive and personal assistant, advisor, and servant to users, the DIANA Android is a highly versatile and intensely capable droid, the perfect status symbol and asset to politicians, bureaucrats, diplomats, and business-people throughout the galaxy.
Lacking in combat skills, the droid is poorly-suited for security or bodyguard roles, and has no practical applications in ground combat at all. However, it can pilot a repulsorlift vehicle (e.g. speeders, speeder bikes, etc.), shuttles and small craft (e.g. personal transports, etc.), and even starfighters, and with time and experience such as real-world piloting or simulator experience, the droid is capable of becoming a skillful and talented pilot. This is due to the heuristic processors, which enable the droid to ‘learn’ and ‘develop’ its skills with time and experience. It’s feminine programming is meant to be soothing and appealing, but make no mistake, the droid can be a shrewd and cunning ‘businesswoman’, as well as a supportive and enthusiastic domestic servant, and a very capable personal and executive assistant.
Because of the DIANA AI driving it, the Android can remotely access data or command and control systems, ships, or facilities into which the same unit is uploaded, provided communications systems allow.
