Differences from Across the Stars

Dunames Lopez

Megalomaniac CEO of Star Tours
Terminal 1, Tomorrowland Starport on Eriadu. Star Tours not being the only operators based there, she freshly returned from the first flight of the Lipstick Express, with the passengers from a shuttle disembarking next to the Lipstick Counter. She realizes that there is a yellow-eyed passenger onboard that flight that seems to be wearing some sort of tribal mask, and other possessions that may seem to belong to a primitive species, and the passenger is visibly new to the greater galaxy. While most other passengers, on either that flight or the return flight of the Lipstick Express, were indifferent to that particular passenger, Dunames noticed something is amiss for that passenger, as he had never seen so many ships in one place, belonging to different operators: Bespin Direct, Hedeek Shipping (First Order-based operators share terminal 3).

"Greetings. I am Dunames, freighter pilot. I take it you have never seen so many starships in one place?"

Tyr had seen some of his people staring at the ships. It was their first time off-world and they had not taken proper precautions. They didn't have any kind of filtration system to defend against the numerous diseases and viruses of the large galaxy. They were asking to become sick and die out there. There was also one who had strayed too far from the group. They would begin to suffer from the loneliness soon, or would if they had been paying attention to the fact they were not still near the group. Tyr told Lyk to care for the Tel'varn and he headed over towards his fellow.

Tyr approached wearing his Huntsman's Hide. He saw that a woman had approached the man and had begun speaking to him. Good. Perhaps now they would not freak out when they realized they were without the others. He continued on his way as the other of his kind was first surprised then began to speak niceties to the star child. He approached and began by saying in togruti, " The others have moved. Rejoin them and find a filter for your face. The galaxy is deadly without one." He came up to the group as the Tel'varn man turned and looked to him. He seemed to realize what had happened. He made a quick apology then rushed over to the group of Tel'varn. Tyr watched him leave for a moment then turned to the woman. He said in basic, " Weave bless you for your care star child. My people still have much to learn and experience from the galaxy. Some are like children still when looking at your metal space boats."

Tyr removed his helmet to show his face. He held his helmet against his right side with his arm and then gave her a short bow with his head. He then whistled loudly without turning his attention away from her. Lyk rushed over from the group of Tel'varn over to Tyr. As he came up, he stood next to Tyr as he got to them. Tyr said to the woman as Lyk came up, " I am Tyr'Vult and this is Lyk. May our meeting be productive for us both." He managed to make a slight smile to her after he finished speaking.

"You'll understand soon enough that there is no single culture in the greater galaxy. Some planets are highly urbanized, like Eriadu, on which we are right now, and others are much more sparsely settled, like Elysian. Since you mentioned mask filters, perhaps you should go to the closest pharmacy; they sell those items. That being said, if you need a mask filter you should probably not go to Neimoidia: it is said that the One Sith's biological weapons are being tested there"

She made little mention of the Force and how they link together throngs of cultures or governments of the galaxy or sets them apart. But despite technically serving the First Order, in actuality it is just a front so that she could use Star Tours to evacuate as many war-displaced refugees from One Sith space with little suspicion, albeit at predatory cost if one is talking about Coruscant. Nevertheless, the First Order lets her do as she pleases because the Lipstick Express is bringing in business and tax revenue, both directly and indirectly. Plus she was the one who pointed out that First Order tourism was too heavily centered on Bespin, and the First Order's touristic master plan is there to develop tourism on most First Order major worlds. At this point only Lipsec was implemented out of the master plan. She wasn't Force-sensitive in the slightest but she felt like she needed to be dealing in the dark at times so that the light side could be saved in the end.

"Oh and you'll realize just how technology-dependent the greater galaxy seems to be, and not just for the medical aspect"
