I had enjoyed the battle of the bands, it had been fun, even if it wasn't entirely my scene, they awarded the victory to someone... To be honest, I wasn't really paying a great deal of attention to all that once Dreidi had left the stage and I had been able to meet up with her. I was still suprised at myself that I had kissed her, It hadn't been my intention when I got here, and whilst it was only on the cheek this time, I hoped she knew why I did it. I was attracted to her, I realised I had been for a while, but I was only now allowing myself to act on it.

We made our way through the remaining revellers and out of the club into the street, nothing but metal and neon confronted me in all directions. I didn't like coruscant at all, there was no nature here and it was in almost every way, the antithesis to how I liked to live my life. Almost every way anyway, the Jedi temple was pleasant, and some of the people who also came here truly made the discomfort worthwhile. I smiled as Dreidi as I mused about our surroundings and about why I kept coming here.

"So where too? I heard someone in there talking about a street market a few levels down where the food is still mostly real." Most of the food on this planet was so heavily processed I barely counted it as food, it wasn't entirely surprising considering how many mouths they had to feed on this world, but it didn't make it taste any better. "I'm picturing something I can barely hold in my hands with big chunks of meat in it." I let out a little laugh and pretending to dab the corner of my mouth with my finger as it watered with the thought of food.

There was an elevator nearby that would drop us to the desired level and unless Dreidi had a better idea, I would start heading that way. My tail flicked behind me with content excitement causing my dress to sway slightly as it did so. It was warm down here, and humid, with only passing relief when the air circulating fans managed to somehow find some cool air to push around.

The battle of the bands hadn't landed Dreidi the win but she had done pretty well, not bottoming out of the competition like she had feared. It was surprising how successful her attempts had been given that she was fully expecting to flop in the face of some serious competition but turns out that she had done well. Dreidi was grateful for the chance that she got and the success that she had felt gave her renewed vigour to practice her music once more and attempt a few other performances.

Gwen had watched her performance as well, it had been a nice surprise and the kiss on the cheek she had received afterwards was definitely a surprise. Dreidi could tell from Gwen's own reaction, she was surprised by the kiss herself but hopefully the teasing that Dreidi gave afterwards had gone down well. Romance and dating was an area that Dreidi was never great at, she was very focused on work, dedicating time as a Jedi, a Witch and then anything else came afterwards, just having Grisial was adding a lot of chaos to juggle around for her. Adding the complicated things that came with dating and such, it was a lot to think about.

However, she also really like Gwen, the changeling was a lot of fun to be around and she felt comfortable around Gwen. The idea of dating people in general was never something Dreidi gave much thought to, she had been on one singular date as a teenager and that was awkward and definitely something that she wasn't much of a fan of. There had been people she knew were attractive and some she had been attracted to but she never felt much want to explore it. A lot of the time, Dreidi was just happy having friends in her life.

And seeing how much her mother changed when her father passed, that also deterred her from having a romantic relationship and the ideas of a family. Dreidi knew she was going to need time to think over how she felt about Gwen and whether this was definitely she wanted to explore for the long term. For now, Dreidi was happy to just have a meal and spend time with someone she cared about, not wanting to focus on whether this was a first date or not.

"There is some great street food on the lower levels, especially from vendors not from Coruscant. Nothing super processed." Dreidi commented with a smirk on her lips, not revealing her thoughts outwardly. She had always been a fan of the street food out there and she loved to eat things from other cultures and outside her normal palate.

Grisial had been silent for most of this, feeling hungry himself but also understanding that Dreidi needed her time to think, that they were chat once she was back in her room. He could sense how complex this was for Dreidi.

Dreidi followed Gwen to the elevator, letting her friend guide the way for now. "I was thinking something with noodles or a lot of calories. Big steak is also a nice idea though." Dreidi felt sure they would find something decent, hitting the button for one of the lower levels that was usually filled with street food vendors.

I couldn't read exactly what Dreidi was thinking about the situation, and about me, but that didnt worry me, I enjoyed her company and she made me feel content, so we could always work out the specifics later. Stepping in, we stood in the elevator behind a large Chevin gentleman who was already on when we joined. The man glanced at Grisial, who was clearly a novelty here and likely much pretty than a lot of the stray canids you might encounter roaming the lower levels of coruscant. But he said nothing to us as we took up our positions. "Noodles sounds good too, sprinkled with extra calories of course. I've learned a few things about your species since I joined your uncle and the other wilders." I grinned with mischief "I hear that you cant tolerate chocolate... well that is a shame." I laughed, I did enjoy chocolate, but I wasn't exactly sure how sensitive zorrens were to it, so I might avoid it just this once.

The lift made a large clattering noise and shook as we descended and I bristled with anxiety, I had no fear of heights, I loved to fly, but right now I pictured myself trapped in a metal cage falling into the bowels of the coruscanf underworld. The tip of my tail lashed nervously of its own accord and I reached round to grab it to hold it steady. I gave a slightly bashful side eyed look to Dreidi as I tried to remain cool during this mildly uncomfortable experience. Another jolt had me suppress a little gasp as it finally came to rest on the desired level and the Chevin in front of us opened the gate and walked out.

"Wow, there is a lot of people down here!" I said, with wide eyed amazement. The street market was much more vibrant than the previous levels we had passed through and was filled with all sorts of various people of many different species. Coloured streamers lined the fronts of the various stalls with hand scrawled menus written in aurubesh. I smirked looking at the way some of the signs seemed to have had their prices changed multiple times, competition must be fierce down here.

"Something smells delicious" I sniffed the air a few times. "I can smell spices." my mouth was beginning to water, taking me out of my sense of impending vertical doom, so I released my tail and beckoned that we make our way into the market. My eyes flickered around me trying to catch glimpses of what other people were carrying, in an attempt to get some dietary inspiration.

"Oh yeah? Stalking my family now in general?" Dreidi teased, giving a soft nudge, "next I'll be hearing that you are having afternoon tea with my mother and dinner with my stepfather, possibly brunch with my siblings." She doubted that Gwen would be able to get in touch with the other family members that Dreidi had since she was not really in contact with them but it was fun to tease her friend about it. "How are finding training with them?" Dreidi was curious since she had no experience with the Wilders or their training methods.

As the elevator started to descend, Dreidi could sense the discomfort in Gwen about the journey, it was quite different to being around forests and more natural surroundings like Kashyyyk. Reaching out, she gave a reassuring squeeze to Gwen's hand to let her know that Dreidi was there and a soothing presence in the Force was extended in the hopes that would help. Dreidi didn't have many fears like this to fully empathise but she knew offering a hand can be a big gesture.

"I was never much of a sweet tooth so the lack of chocolate wasn't devastating but does mean I have to be careful with the foods I consume and always handy to learn detoxify poisons with the Force." Dreidi pointed out, it saved her from certain death but wasn't something she could super rely on either. "How about yourself? Any dietary restrictions?" Dreidi asked curious.

Looking around the level once the elevator opened up, Dreidi nodded her head, "yeah. Coruscant is busy no matter where you go. But that can bring a lot of variety in foods and culture that you might not see elsewhere." Dreidi could see the benefits and cons of a big cityscape like Coruscant to more rural lifestyles.

At the mention of delicious food, Dreidi gave a sniff, using her canine senses to pick out the individual scents. There was a lot that Dreidi could pick out and it was plenty that Dreidi wanted to try out. "Any scents in particular that draw you in?" Dreidi asked, curious what Gwen was interested in.

I was about to leap to my own defence regards stalking her family, but I quickly realised she was teasing me. "Well I did get drunk with your uncle...?" I laughed back to her. Her mentions of her family did make me curious, but that was only natural considering my blossoming feelings for her.

I felt the sensation of her soothing presence and I felt her hand squeeze mine in the elevator, it would have been mildly embarrassing for me to be acting this way in front of her, but I felt I could be myself and I gave her a thankful smile for the reassurance once the perceived threat of imminent death had passed.

"Training with the wilders has been fun, it's not what I expected at all, it's hard work sometimes, but I feel so close to nature when I am there, it's like being back home before the dragons came and destroyed everything." There was a little flash of emotion in my heart, a mixture of sorrow, fear and anger of what had happened on Chaldea, but my friends, and people within the Jedi and the Wilders had helped me come to terms with my emotions from that day so it passed quickly.

"No special requirements really, we eat most of the same things as humans, but I really enjoy very fresh meat and fish, not too harshly cooked and with lots of spices on it." my mouth was watering. "My sense of smell isnt as fine as yours, but... I think I can smell Tigmary and Punctill in that direction. Come on." I guided the witch along with me following the scent and squeezing my way through the crowds. I remembered days like this as a child, growing up and trying to find hidden treasures in the market stalls.

Once we reached the source of the luxurious scent, we were confronted with what looked like the back end of a Bantha, skinned and prepared, being rotated on a spit controlled by a droid. People around us had little trays containing breads piled with either thinly sliced or cubed chunks of meat. "I want to try this one first." I said with a smirk to my friend, implying that the depth of both of our appetites might be tested before the end of the evening.

Dreidi was glad that her presence was welcomed and helpful for Gwen when dealing with the elevator. "Getting drunk with my uncle? Heard you went flying with him too." Dreidi poked her tongue out at Gwen in a playful teasing manner as they looked around the many, many different food stores about. "I am glad that you are enjoying your time there and that they are being welcoming. It is good to see that they are treating you well, otherwise they would be in big trouble." Dreidi would have killed up massive amounts of fuss if they had not treated her friend with the courtesy and respect that she believed everyone deserved.

"Steaks cooked rare were always a favourite of mine, only gotten more delicious with the transformation." Dreidi chuckled as her more canine features clearly loved a bloodier steak to devour. "Don't need to worry about your senses being as keen as mine, just focus on what appeals to you." She smiled to Gwen, she didn't really think about the differences she had as a Zorren so she was just happy to let Gwen guide her around.

Seeing the food being prepared that Gwen was drawn to, Dreidi smiled warmly, "it looks good, should be interesting to try out and I am keen to have a variety of foods." The fact she needed a lot of calories meant she could be more bold with how much she tried, larger sample sizes were a definite positive for Dreidi. Grisial was staring at the meat and drooling on the floor in hunger, clearly wanting and needing the delicious chunks of meat.

"Seems he is hungry as well."

I gave a mischievous smile and raised my eyebrows Dreidi implied the trouble that might occur should the wilders have mistreated me, it was cute, I couldn't help but enjoy the idea of the witch defending my honour. This was a situation that I could accept.

As our food was handed to us I too got the impression that the Vulptex was feeling very decidely hungry, with all the rich meaty smells in the air it was hardly a suprise. "Of course he is hungry, his mean bond mate hasn't fed him any of her dish." it was not like she had had time yet, but as I picked up a chunk of meat I waves a finger discretely, my telekinesis was crude but it was good enough for this. Behind Dreidi a pan clattered loudly off of one of the shelves, hopefully enough to "distract" her, as I slipped a chunk of meat down to thigh height and allowed Grisial to eat out of my hand. I was aware they were bonded, I was aware she would know the moment his drooling fangs met soft meat, but I felt that my friendship with Grisial was nearly as important to develop as my friendship with Dreidi.

With that done I could feed myself, so I sat myself on a metal stool at a rather grubby street table and turned myself to face the other woman. Usually i was a few inches shorter than her, but on this perch I was now approximately the same height. I ate the food mostly with the little plastic fork supplied and quickly my lips were glistening with the spiced marinade. "This is so good." I commented hungrily, suddenly wishing I had also sourced a drink before beginning to have my lips feel the intensity of the flavours. But that was only second on my mind.

"OK, while we eat I want to play a game... I want you to tell me something about Dreidi Xeraic Dreidi Xeraic that I don't know yet, it doesnt have to be some deep dark secret, that can come later once we drink a little, but it has to be something about you!" I smiled and awaited her response.

Dreidi rolled her eyes when Gwen called her mean for not feeding Grisial any of the meat. The Vulptex was far from starving, if anything, he was looking a lot thicker and larger than others of his race. Partly due to his training to strengthen him up and get him more fighting experience, but also due to the fact that he eats more regularly and gets more food than a regular Vulptex would get as well. He was more muscle than fat currently but it would not be difficult for that to change and they both knew it. "I think we can hardly say he is a starving creature with his gut." Dreidi smirked and chuckled, Grisial looked at her then at Gwen.

He knew who to appeal to more. Sucking in his stomach so he looked half the size he was, his legs then started to shake to appear half starved and on the verge of collapsing.

Seeing the display from Grisial, Dreidi had to admit she was impressed with his commitment to the bit. She didn't think he would display the intelligence to know that appearing that way would work on basically everyone, even Dreidi. When Gwen attempted to distract her from Grisial, Dreidi just looked at Gwen directly with a cocked eyebrow. It wasn't exactly subtle from Gwen, "you could just ask to feed him, you know that right?" Dreidi sighed then dramatically looked away to make it known she was allowing this to happen.

Through the bond with Grisial, Dreidi could tell that he was thrilled to have Gwen feed him, nibbling on the meat eagerly. He sent his thanks to Gwen telepathically and making sure she knew he was very happy she was here. Especially since he doubted that Dreidi would have fed him the good food if it was just them. A slight jab at Dreidi that only caused her to roll her eyes at him.

"Yes, of course, you would have fainted if it wasn't for Gwen..." Dreidi called out Grisial with dry sarcasm in her tone.

Yup, this is why she should hang around us more! Grisial mentioned, clearly sensing the connection between them both and helping to encourage it since he could tell it was important for Gwen.

Dreidi shook her head and didn't respond to that. Turning her attention back to Gwen, "it is delicious, glad that you are enjoying the food." Dreidi commented, "seems that Grisial enjoyed the bit you gave him too." Dreidi smirked as she teased Gwen for attempting to distract her.

It seemed that Gwen wanted to learn more about Dreidi, something that no one else knew about her, "that's tough. I tend to be an open book, but I guess..." Dreidi took a few bites of her meal as she thought about what would be something people didn't know about her, "I guess, I have an old artbook that has really bad art and song lyrics that I attempted work on when I was like 13 or 14." Dreidi chuckled as she thought back to those times where things were calmer in her life and it was about training.

I responded using my own telepathy to Grisial, as I felt his thanks, all the while returning a playful grin to Dreidi as she teased me about my entirely unnecessary ruse. It was interesting how smart the Vulptex was, trying to appeal to my sympathies in order to extract food that would be willingly given.

Dreidi began to eat her food and she quickly answered my question. "I like that, I think I would like to see that some time." I said cooly while thinking, she had not asked me anything, but I felt the desire to share myself with her anyway as we dined. "I like that you are an open book too, too many people hide who they are... I want to... er..." my fork continued to dance as I spoke to her. But there was also nerves, I felt the urge to tell the woman and show her a form I tended not to share with any other sentients outside of my home world. It was a curious looking form, and whilst I doubted that someone like Dreidi would think less of me for seeing it, she might see me differently.

"I er... I think we should find some drink." I hopped down from the chair and gave a little embarrassed look to Dreidi, feeling guilty about my embarrassment in front of her when I had literally just complimented her on her own openess. As I walked past her towards a vendor of exotic drinks I glanced in her eyes and "slipped" with my telepathy <ask me...> I didnt feel strong enough to do what had to be done if I wished to move forward with whatever this was, but I felt if she asked me for honesty, my desire not to lie would defeat my anxiety.

I grinned again and allowed myself to return to the more playful state that my mind had so recently inhabited. There was drinks her, drinks from all over the known galaxy and several that I wished to sample. "Do you think alcoholic tea would work with or against our spiced bantha?" I puzzled, pursing my lips. Atrisia and tatooine were such different worlds, how would their flavours engage with each other.

"Well, luckily for me, that artbook is lost somewhere on a random planet wherever Asaraa was living." Dreidi had forgotten where Asaraa had been living back then, but she knew her old Master had moved since then and likely the artbook was lost to the world now, "you don't need to see anything that cringey or weird." Dreidi chuckled, not sure she would want anyone to see the stuff she did as a kid. It would be embarrassing and very much not a reflection of her work now.

Dreidi tilted her head when Gwen started to talk, she complimented Dreidi for being an open book, then seemed to mention she wanted to do before stuttering off into nothing. Then mentioned getting drinks, "okay, we can do that. Just no booze for Grisial." Dreidi joked, she knew Gwen wouldn't dare do that but it was something she could still tease her friend about.

The message sent telepathically had Dreidi puzzled, was Gwen asking her to ask about what Gwen didn't finish say, what drink she wanted or something else. Then it dawned on Dreidi, "what is something about you that I don't know?" Figuring that Gwen was expecting Dreidi to ask her the same thing and Dreidi had completely blanked on that. Especially since she had been focused on what she could share.

"Alcoholic tea? Think we can go stronger than that, especially for deep dark secrets," Dreidi chuckled and selected some vodka from variety on offer, suggesting two large drinks for them.

I giggled a little "Maybe I like weird?" I suggested, shrugging a little, and throwing a sweet smile at the witch. It was a little disappointing that I might never see that sketchpad, but Dreidi didn't seem too worried that it had been lost to the ages somewhere on a distant planet. "Perhaps you should draw me some time?" that could be fun, my friend seemed like a very creative person.

I laughed again at the instruction not to give Grisial any booze, I had no intention of doing such a thing, but I gave the Vulpex a very apologetic look, I was quite certain he would be content with nothing more than stray chunks of meat I was already happy to offer. I lifted my cup and began to drink the rich contents, smelling the booze that spiked it so delightfully.

"what is something about you that I don't know?"

I smiled with just a slight embarrassment of having poked at the girl to ask me, and maybe this was something better for a time after the alcohol, but if then, why not now?. "OK... so obviously this is me now, and it's how I have looked since I can remember, and probably always will" I gestured with my to my face and body. "But this is a form I learned to better mimic the parents my tribe put me with." how to best describe it? I wondered to myself, more feral? That wasn't it, my lips pursed together as I wondered. "Moorchildren tend to look a little more... primordial? I guess? No hair, less skin pigment. I don't usually show anyone because although it's me... it's not me? That make sense?" I smiled and gave a slight roll of the eyes at my own oddness as I placed the last piece of the bantha meat into my mouth from my tray and placed the tray down along with many others of its used compatriots. I knew I was going to have to show her now at some point, but hopefully she was sensitive enough not to suggest I skin shift into something so personal in the middle of a street cantina.

Dreidi laughed, "think we all like some level of weird. But that wasn't a good weird. It was an awkward teen barely understanding the galaxy around her weird. Some things are best left unseen." Dreidi commented, she felt no shame in the book but she didn't think it needed to be drawn out into the light of day. Leaving it in the past was ideal, "draw you?" Dreidi blinked, then smirked and laughed again, "I was never good at drawing, I wanted to be. Had all the hopes and ambitions to be great at drawing, lacked the natural talent part. Could perform for you in private sometime, a song or two?" Dreidi offered, not wanting Gwen to think she was pushing her away.

She poured herself a vodka then one for Gwen. It was stronger than the tea but Dreidi was insistent that they do spirits if Gwen was having them share secrets. When Gwen started to talk about how her people could morph and the way they looked naturally was very different to how Gwen looked now, Dreidi smiled, "I was born human, lived 18 years human, then I went and did a trial that turned me into this. I became Zorren. I'll have this face now, unaged for a century now. I'll look a young adult, no wrinkles, no aging for over a hundred years. And it'll be thousands of years before I become old." Dreidi commented, she was reminded of her own fate listening to Gwen.

"When I realised that I would be outliving nearly everyone I knew. That I would live long past even extended lives of the Jedi. I started to care less about appearances of people and focused on who they were, enjoying the personality, it made me realised how much a connection to a person can push everything else away." Dreidi commented, "if you wish to show me that form some time, alone. Fine, but you don't have to and I will never ask you to. Just give me a heads up so I don't get surprised thinking there is a stranger around and you disappeared in some wild prank." Dreidi smirked, hoping the joke would land well.

Taking a shot of the vodka, Dreidi screwed her face as the alcohol burned its way down and let out a sigh, before pouring more. "Right, what's the next big topic we're discussing then?" Her eyebrow cocked as she looks to Gwen.

When Dreidi mentioned performing for me in private I smiled at her but a little part of me decided to interpret that in just such a way that sent a rush of blood to my face. I tried to manipulate my skin to reduce it but that would be even more obvious. "I'd like that..." I replied, trying right remain cool. I wouldn't push her any more about the artwork, despite my curiosity.

I picked up the vodka and drank it twisting my neck and wincing a little. "OK, I dont think I want too much of that one." I laughed, it was very strong, not what I would usually go for, but it was what it was.

"Its kind of strange knowing you'll outlive so many people. I'll live about five hundred years, maybe a little longer if I'm lucky. I'll age like anyone else, but I guess I can choose how I look so I think I might stay like this for a couple more centuries." It was one of those strange thoughts you never really had but it was always just there.

Just give me a heads up so I don't get surprised thinking there is a stranger around

I laughed, it was certainly a risk "I can't really do other humanoids very well, but just a heads up that sometimes when it's cold I sleep in animal form so if you find a red furred tooka or something in bed... it might be me." I smirked "Or it might just be a tooka, they're kinda cute. They do bite though so maybe check before you climb in." I blushed again and quickly looked around. For something to put in my mouth before anything else came out. I scampered off quickly into the crowd towards a stall I spotted. I didn't check if I was being followed but whether the witch followed me or not I would quickly return with two wooden sticks with a delicious, but curiously yellow sausage shaped... something... on it. "I have no idea what this is, but it smells nice and the guy said its safe to ear, he thinks, he didn't sound convinced." I shrugged and took a large bite from it handing the other to Dreidi.

"Are you alright? Just you got suddenly very red in the face? Are you too warm?" Dreidi asked concerned that Gwen was overheating from the packed crowd, it was something that she often dealt with parts of Coruscant, especially with hot food being cooked close by as well.

Chuckling as Gwen winced at the vodka and commented that not having too many of those would be ideal. "Well, that's a shame, was going to order us two more." Dreidi poked her tongue out at her friend. She continued to eat her food when Gwen mentioned that she would be able to live to 500 years and likely be able to keep the same appearance she had now. "I think I might look 30 by the time I am 500 years old." Dreidi commented with a chuckle, thinking how wild it would be to look so young but be so ancient as well.

"Why would I find you as a red furred tooka in bed with me?" Dreidi asked, tilting her head, her mind hadn't even thought about sharing a bed with anyone. "I'm sure Grisial would scare off any tookas before I got into bed, he tends to be very protective that way." Dreidi petted his head and then received a message from Grisial.

Gwen is trying to comment on being a couple in bed together. This is a date, silly. Grisial chuckled in Dreidi's brain and she was floored about it. How could she have missed the obvious there. When Dreidi looked puzzled at Grisial, he nudged her to go after Gwen.

Dreidi chased after Gwen as she rushed off to find the next food. She explained the yellow sausage was likely safe to eat and offered half to Dreidi. She smiled to her friend. "Urm... Gwen.... I'm not always aware with flirting and romance." It was her time to blush now, "not really been something I find easy or top of list of things I want to achieve."

"But... That isn't to say I don't like you or think you aren't interesting... Just..." Dreidi paused as she was struggling to figure out the best way to phrase, "I just need to take it slow, it's not something I jump into. Attraction comes in time. If that is okay with you?" Dreidi let out a sigh, her cheeks still burning red from the embarrassment of trying to explain herself. She then wolfed down the sausage.

My heart fluttered a little as Dreidi Xeraic Dreidi Xeraic reacted unexpectedly to my flirtation, not negatively, just, unexpectedly, but it was ok, I think. I might have been one step ahead when it came to expressing attraction, but it was only a small step and I still fairly novice at such things.

"I just need to take it slow, it's not something I jump into. Attraction comes in time. If that is okay with you?"

I raised an eyebrow at the strange question, there wasn't really any other option than it being OK was there? I did feel a little touch of concern that I had made her feel pressured with my flirtatious joking. "Of course that's OK... er... sorry" I blushed a little again and took another bite. I admired her own blush, it was quite a contrast to her otherwise pale skin, and her sigh. I hoped she wasn't too embarrassed, it wasn't necessary around me.

"I do hope Grisial wouldn't chase me when I'm in Tooka form, they've only got little legs." I teased, looking down at him and lightening the subject again. I was glad to know she found me interesting, I found her fascinating, and beautiful.

I pulled the stick out of my mouth "Why am I still eating this" I looked at the half eaten stick that I was using to fill the gaps between my words. "Its not even that nice, it kind of tastes of soggy nothing, I'm going to mark that one down as a nope.... want it?" I offered it to both of my canine dinner companions and looked around for more refreshments.

"So what's next? Do we share another story and drink, or do we drink and then share." I giggled, a little bit wondering what else I wanted to know. "Do you have many family?"

Dreidi had asked since for some, the time it took Dreidi to feel full attraction to a person was not something they could handle, or for them the connection fizzled until it became awkward. "I just don't want you thinking that there is nothing here but that I am not like most people where attraction is instantaneous, for me it is something that develops over time and not everyone has the patience for that. It's kind of why I don't really seek out relationships or date much. Easier to be single." Dreidi was revealing a lot about herself but she wanted Gwen to know exactly what she was signing up for if she actually wanted to date Dreidi.

"And when the attraction does come, it'll be intense and like, a lot. So hopefully you are prepared for that as well." Dreidi chuckled, it was very weird but Dreidi had heard of how it was for others and knew that she wanted to forewarn Gwen about it.

Looking at Grisial who was reflecting the lights of Coruscant into prisms. "Well, he'll likely chase but that's it. He looks scarier than he actually is. Big softie!" Dreidi chuckled as Grisial attempted to puff himself up to look more intimidating but couldn't keep it going since he was too happy that Dreidi was opening up to someone other than him.

Grisial jumped, literally, at the chance for more food. Chowing down greedily, he was thrilled to consume it all. Dreidi smirked to Gwen, when the mention of family popped up, Dreidi raised an eyebrow, "if we are going there, we will need strong stuff as well. Family is not a fun topic with me." She let out a little sigh. Ordering shots and then a whisky for herself. Drinking the shots when they arrived.

"I have a dead father as you know," mentioning their first meeting on Kashyyyk, "my mother is married to another Jedi, named Jax. I got a half brother, a full sister and an adopted sister who has a child and my adopted sister was my Jedi Master and basically raised me after my father passed." Dreidi sighed and sipped a bit of the whisky, making a face as it was much stronger than she was used to but needed. Very much needed. "Also got Vulpesen as my uncle as well. I am estranged from my mother, half brother and my full sister. My mother ran off after my father passed, started dating and got engaged to another guy without me every seeing her or him together. Only found out about the relationship when Jax appeared out of nowhere into my life. Still not seen my mother since she's walked out on me and Nitya, my sister."

Taking another sip of the whisky she looked to Gwen, "what about your family?"

I felt myself smile as Dreidi Xeraic Dreidi Xeraic took great lengths to explain herself, she didnt need to do that, my affection for her was already there and was in no rush, perhaps she was right, being single was easier, not having to think about another person and have any kind of responsibility to them. But being with the right person could be quite wonderful. "It's OK, I'm in no rush." I said to her, moments before she mentioned the her future intensity, to which I couldn't help but give a smirk as I had a fairly as my imagination gave me an idea of what that might mean.

"I see... should I be sitting back down for this?" I joked as she mentioned needing something stronger before she talked about her family. I was glad she was willing to open up, and my eyes widened as I listened intently to the list of people in her life. As she spoke I could totally see where her strong independent streak had come from and why she might be more cautious about any sorts of personal relationships.

My eyes flickered as i procressed the connections in my head like a map ofnher famiy "That's quite a family... Mine's a little simpler, I guess.

So I mentioned before that I'm not the same species as my family. When moorchildren feel like their tribe is in danger, they sometimes find a family with a small baby and swap their own child for the baby, the adopted family then raise it like their own and the tribe survives."
It was a fairly sensitive subject at home. My parents didn't blame me, so they loved me anyway, but we all knew I only lived because their true born child lay abandoned by my people, somewhere in the wilderness.

"There is mum and dad, they are good people, the best actually, I guess I don't always think about what they did accepting me once they discovered what I was but...

Then there is Holly, she is about seven years older than me and she's the one who got me in to all this environmental stuff on Chaldea, I think you'd like her. She's very pretty. And then there is little Willow, he's eleven now. He used to like riding around on my back in the forest, but he's not taken what happened on Chaldea well, he's kind of just living on his hologames since the evacuation."
I was a little worried about my brother and how he was coping, I knew he had lost friends and the few he had left were scattered in refugee camps across the sector.

I wanted to lighten the subject "Oh, you'll like this, the day my parents found out I was a changeling was when I was a few years old. They found me next to our house cat, doing what i am told was a fairly bad job of mimicing his form, eating meat from his bowl." I laughed a gave an innocent shrug before knocking back more some of the whiskey, repeating my the grimace I made before when I tasted the strong vodka.
