Dinner for Two

Julian Solo sat alone. It was a regular diner he had visited in the past year. He worked a few odd jobs as a bouncer down in the Entertainment District, and after work he came up here for dinner. They served the best Whale Shark Spaghetti you'd ever taste in the whole galaxy - or so someone once claimed, and Julian agreed, partially.. It was one of the few and rare places that served traditional aquatic delicacies from a variety of cultures. The Mon Calamari to the Nautolan. Julian was three quarters through his meal when he spied his informant at the counter, drinking.

He gathered his belongings and stood. Julian was slow to walk, making his own investigations. He didn't have a weapon on him but a blaster on his hip, set to stun he judged by the flicked switch. He took a seat beside Vraask, setting his odd-looking plate of seafood down. The aroma was absolutely putrid, alas Julian had forgotten this fact as he continued into his meal, beside the man. He spoke in between bites "Who's the target?" Vraask slid across a holochip, whispering quietly, "Corruck Kazen, some crime lord is looking to bag him. I hear he's on Coruscant, can't help you anymore that that."

Corruck had been taking an evening stroll through some of the cleaner areas of Coruscant. Of course it was not the cleanest, but it certainly was not the ground levels. He knew that there was some danger in traveling during the evening, but then Coruscant was dangerous even in the day. That was why he was prepared, his double barreled shotgun, slung across his back, would almost certainly be intimidating to most people who saw it. He remembered the walk down here from his ship Recalcitrant. It had been mostly uneventful, except for that one salesman. He had been quite annoying, but fortunately Corruck was able to walk out of the situation without any blood shed.

As he walked by an interesting diner, Corruck looked through the windows. He saw many people eating what appeared to be a variety of sea-foods. Sea-food was not a food for Corruck, but he stayed outside and watched for awhile. Diners were part of society, something that could be corrupted to other purposes. A facility like this could be a racketeering operation or could become a smuggling center. It was important to know where one could hide in open places, and Diners were perfect. Their uses were many and he would be the one using them to the fullest. He saw lots of people talking, but then that was hardly a surprise. In this district, talking was a good way of enjoying one's self.

He looked behind him and saw one of the ledges leading to the taxi ways. He saw next to the small opening rails going on in either direction. The opening was probably meant for a small speeder. He could use that later...
