Dinner is on me (To join ask for invite)

Bespin

Rekha stood waiting inside she had been told that [member="Coren Starchaser"] and [member="Spark Finn"] were on approach. She had invited them to Bespin she had invited Coren for dinner it didn’t seem right not to include Spark.

Their little adventures together had certainly taken odd twists and turns. Dinner was one way she could repay their patience.

Taking them to do some flying that was all about being free and feeling that sensation as it permeated every pore of your skin. There’d be some lessons of course but she would make sure they got the full treatment, all before dinner.

She wanted them to work up an appetite. She smiled as she could finally see the ship breaking through the clouds and headed to that platform.

She took a deep breath and remembereit was alright. She had to remember to talk to Dekkan, maybe a short message to him. She smiled sort of.

Taking one girl on a date trip to see another girl he enjoyed the company of worked with was always interesting. Coren enjoyed Bespin. Its floating cities were a nice change of pace from the typical craziness that most worlds had. He wondered if Khal and the Exchange had some Cloud City: After Dark thing going on. It’d be something to explore, for sure. And with Rekha including Spark on the invite, it didn’t even phase Coren. It just was what it was, after all.

As for flying? Obviously that was what Coren lived for. He had to take a bit of care with himself now, but he was getting better. Csilla being claimed by the Sith was not exactly the best situation to have happened. He knew Jared would take it hard, as for Kaia? He wasn’t sure. That girl was so free nowadays, or she was just avoiding him.

Probably the latter.

Tachyon Rising had permissions to land, and were being escorted in by a pair of cloud cars. Pilot boats for lack of any better term. When he touched down, he stood up, dressed more for a night out, a nice pair of slacks, Corellian bloodstripe – Everyone was a Corellian veteran now—white shirt, leather jacket, he was doing okay. He made his way to the boarding ramp, lightsaber on one hip, blaster on the other, hung down low. He grinned as he looked over at one of the other Angels in his life.

Coren's copilot stood as she unbuckled the crash webbing harness. Pale fingers smoothed down the fabric of the collared cherry-blossom dress that sported buttons up the front with a hem resting just above her knees. She may have opted to wear a dress but she wasn't giving up her converse.

She caught Coren's smile as she joined him down the ramp and onto the open platform. He cleaned up well. It was something she was too mortified to say but maybe the look in her blue eyes betrayed her.

"What?" Fingers fidgeted at the waistline of her dress. "I do wear dresses, y'know. Sometimes." Yup, she was already self conscious. She was already imagining the teasing to come from one miss Rekha Kaarde.

That was fine. She'd take teasing over the with any day. Especially after the last few missions.

Rekha's eyes narrowed as Coren and Spark came into view her eyes swept over them both from head to foot. She instantly regretted not having Coren all to herself he definitely cleaned up very nicely. He moved with a lazy casual grace his clothing seemed to emphasize the contours of his face, and the toned muscles beneath. She hadn't really noticed that sensual full lower lip, and eyes a deep navy blue that gleamed with a suppressed amusement.

Rekha felt a strange receptivity flowing through her veins right now, damn, the places it was traveling. She took in a breath and turned her emerald green eyes on Sparkler.

Spark out of her usual clothing looked very innocent in her cherry print dress. Tiny wisps of blonde hair touching her face. Sparkler's dress gave an added emphasis to her brilliant blue eyes. Rekha stepped closer she could smell the hints of soap that Spark had used in preparing for dinner. It was a smell that could be addictive if one were not very careful. Spark's tiny features with skin like porcelain, a doll meant to be cherished for certain. No wonder Coren was so protective of her.

Rekha stood there in a long coat that protected whatever it was she was wearing beneath it. She wasn't revealing anything, yet.

"You both look utterly tempting and amazing, I almost feel bad asking you to take your clothes off" She smiled at them, even as she motioned for them to come in. Rekha Kaarde was a devil in female form the only things missing from her current outfit were horns, a tail, and a pitchfork.

.

He grinned as Spark started speaking. Shaking his head, he couldn't help but laugh. "If I wasn't seein' it first hand, I wouldn't believe you, Spark. I'm sure you'll knock Rekha off her feet." He gave her a wink, knowing that the other part of their infamous trio would definitely make some comment towards his co-pilot-slicer. And while Coren would probably had made a comment in his younger... previous days? He wasn't sure how to let that concept go, before the Cryo-nap, had he not known Spark as a person, now? He was being respectful, if a bit teasing. C'mon, look at the girl.

Rekha, on the other hand, she was someone that Coren knew that he could have a good time with. Drinking partner or otherwise. She was the type of woman that came around only so often and you didn't let them just wander off. As much as the bar-owner might think he was protective of Spark, he was equally protective of Rekha. [member="Anastasia Rade"], too, whom he wasn't sure if she'd be joining them. Anyone who flew with him he was protective of. Even if they were a Force-using Mandalorian.

"We do what we can, Rek." He smiled and followed her inside, grabbing the door for Spark because #Gentleman. Or something. "But wait... clothes off?"

Huh?

[member="Rekha Kaarde"] [member="Spark Finn"]

[member="Rekha Kaarde"] [member="Coren Starchaser"]

"What?!" The half-yelp half-squeak left her throat at the clothes-off comment. She gave her friend, yes, her FRIEND - a critical look. Even though the other woman made her blush more than anyone else with her flirtatious and off-hand comments, she totally trusted the bar-owner/smuggler with her life. Add that to number two on her short, short list.

"Rekha," Spark said suddenly, cheeks still showing off her own emotions like an open-holo script. "Uhhh, are you-uh-," voice lowered as she leaned in closer to Ms Sarcasm, "naked under there?!"

[member="Spark Finn"] | [member="Coren Starchaser"]

Yeah she knew the reactions she would get, and that quite frankly was why she played it out this way. Oh if they only know the inner mind works of the Keladian. She wiggled her eyebrows at Spark, "What do you think?" Was she naked, ha haha.

She laughed all too easily as she kept her friends moving towards their first destination. It of course would explain almost everything about her comments. Each step taken could be interpreted in different ways.

"So welcome to Bespin since I haven't said it yet" Green eyes glanced at Coren, and then to Spark.

"Now I know you both might be really nervous" Rekha reached for Coren's hand bringing it to her hip, while she slid her arm around Spark's shoulder, "But trust me I think if you just relax and enjoy it for what it is, an experience like no other, that you will like it"

She walked them along the corridor not quite oblivious to what it sounded like she as saying but so intent on sharing this experience with them she didn't see the expression on their faces, the emotions they were quickly pivoting from one after another.

The doors that she needed were coming up, .."Now." she moved them over to large dark window she stopped then turned taking a step back to look at them both. Their eyes, their faces, this was so priceless at the moment.

"The three of us have seen some action as of late, and there are only a few ways to release that kind of tension." She looked from one to the other. Rekha smiled hit a small button on the window, as she threw back the long coat she had been wearing to reveal

SHE WAS NAKED!!
.
.
.
.
.
.

No, she wasn't. She stood there is a thermal flying suit with knee high leather boots for warmth bantha hide gloves and a pair of goggles hanging from her waist, and what resembled a bomber jacket.

Behind her beyond the glass tethered to a railing were four thranta their wings gently flapping in the currents, as their low cooing noises vibrated against the window.

"We are going to go flying!" they would need to change from their good clothes into something that would protect them from the cold while they went flying, and she didn't want them to ruin their good clothes.

Did I get cha?

Coren shook his head. Really, working with Rekha and Spark was a bit interesting. Two opposites, that pair. He smirked as Spark seemed to be really fast at throwing out that she thought Rek was naked under the trench coat. Sure, maybe Coren was expecting that. “Haven’t been around here in a while.” Coren nodded as he let Spark take the lead, or, y’know, insinuated that she should.

He smiled at Rekha when her eyes met his. There was something intense about this woman. And she took his hand. What was this all? Well, yeah, breaking a physical boundary wasn’t something that surprised Coren, and least of all with Rek. His mind was racing in a few different directions.

What was going on, really?

Couldn’t be… No.

And when the reveal came? He wasn’t sure what to take. Not naked that was a shame comforting. But flying? “Uhh…” Coren looked up at the Thrantas. Right. And Spark was hardly dressed for this.

Was she going to have to change?

That’s a shame.

[member="Rekha Kaarde"]

[member="Coren Starchaser"] [member="Rekha Kaarde"]

She envied Coren's and Rekha's easy-going attitude. This whole thing was taking a lot of energy out of the little introvert. It took every ounce of willpower not to shy away from the smuggler turned friend as she wrapped an arm around her bony shoulders.

Personal bubble popped!!!!

Fingers slowly lowered from her eyes after Rekha's reveal. Cheeks were finally fading to a normal color. A nervous laugh bubbled from her throat.

"Haha. Good one. Wait," throat became dry and she got insta-clammy hands. "You want us to...to ride those things? Out there?" Voice reached a crescendo on the last word.

The fear was real.

She was okay flying mechanical things. But living things? She saw all the trouble Rekha did to plan this and she struggled between not wanting to hurt the woman's feelings and wanting to stay very much alive.

Hand came up to rub at the back of her neck nervously as she took an involuntary step backwards.

Rekha could see it in their faces was that disappointment on Coren’s face…and relief on Sparklers. “You’ve never seen a thranta have you” You being the collective you.

Rekha nodded, “ok…they are very gentle, these have had riders for years, you just have to touch them light and they turn” She looked out at the thranta, “And with Alderaan having lost all of their thranta, or it’s believed they have, these here on Bespin are all that is left”

Rekha smiled as she looked outside, she turned back to her friends, “Spark can ride with me since she looks whiter than usual, and Coren, you got this. I’ve seen you fly, this….is you as much as your implant and ship are you..only this is freedom that you feel on your face.”

She wanted to convince them to do it, but not if they were scared. “You have to wear an outfit like mine which I have a few so..changing isn’t a problem, and afterwards you can use the refresher and we’ll have a nice dinner.”

She wanted to share with them something she loved, she loved this.

“Sooo, can I convince you to go?” She smiled.

[member="Spark Finn"] [member="Coren Starchaser"]

To be honest? Coren wasn’t sure what he was expecting. Thrantas weren’t quite it though. He was expecting cloud cars, or… he didn’t know. Jet packs? Didn’t Iron Crown making something fun like that? “I’ve seen them. Just… animals aren’t my forte.” People sometimes were, but, everything else? Nah, he wasn’t the one to be charming the beasts.

He looked up to the creatures and nodded at Rekha. Part of him wanted to reach out to them, with the Force. To see what they were all about, what they were thinking… When Rek spoke next, though, he grinned. Not about the last-of-their kind, of the fact he had this. “Alright, you’re on!” She knew this was going to become the next big thing for Coren, right? Hell, the Tachyon Rising had a variety of ‘extreme’ sports gear on it, from bungee cords, a variety of boards for all manner of surfaces, plus the ship itself just being a hot rod. Coren lived for the challenge and the rush.

“Got a suit that’s not… for your body type?” He winked as he looked out. A bit more excited now. How was that going to handle, though? “And you’ll give us a crash course, yeah?”

He could do this.

[member="Rekha Kaarde"]
[member="Spark Finn"]

[member="Coren Starchaser"] [member="Rekha Kaarde"]

How could anyone say no to those big puppy-nexu eyes that Reks had right now? She sighed inwardly. "Okay," still a bucket of nerves. "As long as you have a suit small enough for me AND I get to ride with you. I'll," she fought past her dry mouth, "be okay."

She was a bit surprised by Coren's initial hesitation. She always got the vibe he was a jump first ask questions later guy.

Interesting.

[member="Coren Starchaser"] | [member="Spark Finn"]

Rekha gave Coren the….oh my god you’re joking look. She smiled she really believed because he was a pilot he would love this once he got the hang of it. The first time she did it, she went slow and easy but once she got the hang of it ooo baby it was every day.

“My body type, you mean more like for your…” she looked away to Spark, “Yes we have them for you both. I made sure be silly have you do this and ooops no suit oh well.” She shook her head. She went over to a locker and pulled out two suits, handing one to Spark one to Coren, then she picked up boots, gloves, goggles, and hats. She kept some but handed the boots out it was a lot to carry.

“I’ll show you were to change…….do’ she got this devilish look, “you think either of you will need help?’

Rekha began walking away, “When you’re dressed for the weather out there, I’ll give you an introduction.”

Rekha felt good. Here on Bespin she felt like the Lady of the Manor she knew a lot of people, they knew her and she could take her friends flying. Take them to do something they’d probably never get the chance to do anywhere else.

She walked them over to her quarters, she didn’t always trust the rooms on the promenade these were lonely miners after all.

Her apartment was simple. The living room view panels looked out to space, her bedroom viewable from the living room it was old world soft comfortable this would be where she would direct Spark to change, the bath was simple functional for what Rekha needed, she’d point Coren into there. It was three rooms, the rest of the time she was in the bar, except lately when she was out with them.

“Can I get anyone drinks?”

For Coren, piloting was something that involved metal and machine, something he could link into with his implant. But with this? He could probably meld with the Force and the thranta and get something similar. It was just… odd, flying something that was living. He knew it was done, but for him? It gave him the momentary stall. Once he was out there and in the air? He’d be excited.

He laughed at Rekha and nodded. Yeah, something that wasn’t for an endowed female, something not in pink, perhaps? Not that he expected Rekha to own anything in pink. He looked over at the gear and nodded. Was Rekha sizing them up?

“I’m pretty sure I can get into it, trust me, I’ll call if I need help.” He smiled, and that was probably the only thing that told anyone that was a joke. Coren’s mind was on the thranta and the mission, sometimes he got side tracked. Solider-pilot. “Spark’ll probably need help.” He tossed a wink over at the blonde.

Small quarters, didn’t need much more. Coren was the same way. The Starchaser Suite back on the Dawn Treader was a two story loft, with the top floor set up as a combination office and bedroom, with a small area to entertain guests, relax and a small kitchen on the lower level. Actually his suite on the Event Horizon was the same. Only the Tachyon Rising had a bit more, but he carried that ship with him.

Right, bathroom. “What you have to offer, Rek?” He called back about the drink.

[member="Rekha Kaarde"]
[member="Spark Finn"]

[member="Coren Starchaser"] [member="Rekha Kaarde"]

She scowled at Coren, blushed, and stuck out her tongue at the same time. Immature Spark was immature. "Wow Reks, nice place. You were holding out on us." It may seem small to them but it was absolutely fancy for her. She had her own share of street-sleeping in her not-so-distant past, including some nights spent on public transit.

Closing the door firmly to Rekha's bedroom, she began the process of peeling off her dress and putting on the jump-suit. It went pretty quickly. After a few hops and thrusts, she poked her head out of the bedroom all set.

"Uhhh, alcohol might not be good for me right now. Especially if you expect me to be able to hold onto you or something during the ride with those things. Got any juma-juice?"

Rekha was listening to them talk, “I usually recommend water before a ride” She looked over at Spark who just emerged, “Well look there see if fits, and thanks three rooms is plenty of space and its comfy if you guys want you can crash here tonight or come hang in the bar. The miners love company”

Rekha had a pitcher of water, she had no kitchen but she had a refrigerator to keep things cold, “I don’t keep food, I usually eat at the bar, which is where we will be eating. BUT. I have told the cook use his extraordinary culinary skills and to think he’s in a place on Lianna or Coruscant”
Rekha had ever only had one other person this far and that was [member="Jason Reau"] the scoundrel.

“Yeah I think I have some juice, it’s good in the middle of the night” Rekha pulled out a bottle and handed it over to Spark, she poured herself water.
Rekha nodded, “No falling off that is bad, and I don’t know if I’m good enough to have the thranta at top speed to catch you, and I don’t want to find out” That was unusual Rekha was a daredevil she would try something at least once.

She looked towards the bath, “I wonder what is taking Coren so long.” She got a big grin, “HEY COREN you fall in do I need to call a droid?”

[member="Spark Finn"] [member="Coren Starchaser"]

Yeah, needing much more space than Rekha had? That was for people who were cohabitating, and the ones who didn’t want to deal with the people they were cohabitating with. Simply put, too much space. Coren liked to keep things simple. The man had a backpack where he fit most of his personal gear. Datapad, some books, and other personal gear. Between that and a military style duffel? He could throw must of his stuff from one ship to another really quick. Since the loss of Kelly, and really, since he awoke from his Cryo-nap, he didn’t have any need for the stuff that was in his suite on the Dawn Treader. The Rising and on the Event Horizon it was all like starting over.

A few boards for a variety of mediums and the sports related, and his exploration gear. He really kept most things to the bags and a footlocker, but that stayed in his personal cabin on his freighter.

He was lost in a bit of thought during the whole conversation, but a bar? That was always good. Of course, Coren was thinking Shadowport, he was thinking Underground, he was thinking to save the galaxy. Hero complex say what?

Shaking his head when Rekha called, he finished getting the suit just perfect. Y’know, two awesome women out there? Had to make sure he was insured. “Nah, I’m alive.” He shook his head as he opened the door.

“So, we flyin’?” Yeah, he’d learn to imitate the miners soon.

[member="Rekha Kaarde"]
[member="Spark Finn"]

[member="Coren Starchaser"] [member="Rekha Kaarde"]

"Oh, the miner's love company, huh?" Sandy-brows rose as she took a swig of juma-juice. "Thanks Reks." Face-soured slightly at the idea of more extraverting. #sleepingforweeksafterthis

She smiled when Coren entered. The suit fit him well. She blushed slightly, realizing the stare and quickly followed Rekha back out, toward the thrantas.

"Yeah, let's go before I talk myself out of it."

“Yeah we’re a flying today, you in a rush now fly boy?” Rekha looked back to Spark “Yes, we are far from home, and they are usually alone here, so yeah they like company, and if you can sing, but don’t dance, I’ve seen you try on ship a couple of times, don’t…here..ok”
She grinned real big having found a way to tease Spark.

They were headed out the door, Rekha made sure everyone had everything for they’d freeze other wise. Unless they’re force training included tapas to keep them warm…then she’d be the one needing the gear.

They walked back Rekha started putting on her headgear, and goggles, pulling on her gloves, she looked…something like this

They passed through the doors, and the wind picked up immediately. Rekha turned, “Ok..lesson one…’ She walked over and stroked the thranta, “make friends” Rekha held out her hand to Spark, “come here”

She wanted to bring Spark closer to having her touch the thranta, she looked over Sparks head to Coren, “you too come closer let them smell you touch them, be gentle,” Rekha stroked the thranta, “it’s really very docile”

[member="Spark Finn"] [member="Coren Starchaser"]

Right. Spark. Sure, she might be a gangly thing, but… he didn’t know, it worked for her? Something like that. Was he aware of her stare back? Only slightly. Did it bother him? Not at all. Still, keeping his mind on the trip now, and not that he really didn’t mind Spark in either the dress or this flight gear. He’d not be picky.

And there was Rek again, scaring Spark from going to the bar, most likely. “Wait, so you’re not encouraging her to sing?” He tossed a wink Spark’s way as he followed Rekha. He wasn’t looking forward to the cold, but… well, space was cold. He liked to keep his ships at a decent temperature, sure it overclocked the system, but…

But more gear. Made sense. Coren probably could’ve gotten away with the Levantine ExCon suit, but this? Well, when in Rome…He made sure he was all set before stepping out the doors.

He nodded as he approached the creature, slowly, out of respect, and out of a bit of paranoia because it was an organic flying machine. He made his approach and reached out a hand for one of the thranta.
