LFG Direction for an Independent Force-User

[Balun Dashiell]

This post is a blend of a "Looking For Group" (LFG) request and a discussion starter.

I'm searching for a way to fill the void left in Balun's life regarding his identity as a Force user. While he has found a sense of belonging with his family in House Dashiell, he has primarily been an independent Force user. Even during his time with the Tingel Arm Coalition, he deliberately chose not to align himself with the Jedi sect there.

The challenge I'm facing now is that the Master I had intended to guide and train Balun has understandably had to step back due to real-life commitments (as they absolutely should). This leaves Balun in a tough spot, as his connections outside his family and his close bond with Nouqai Veil are sparse.

I want to clarify that Balun's path doesn't likely include becoming part of the Sith or the Jedi Order. However, his journey will always be guided by a deep commitment to the Light Side of the Force. I'm open to exploring ideas, potential character connections, or opportunities for growth that could help Balun navigate this phase of his development.

Sounds like a plan, although it'll be less a mission and more of an independent adventure now that he's on his own again and no longer running with the Tingel Arm Coalition.

Happy to help you explore the Commonwealth's different groups if you'd like. Fellowship of the Torch or the Order of the Lore Keepers. Feel free to explore the Commonwealth's background/information here. Commonwealth has both dark and light groups, they don't adhere to either the dogmas of Sith or Jedi. They're a bit more like Skyrim and Dragon Age's college/circle of magic in this regard. Balun Dashiell If this particular character doesn't quite fit the bill. Well not Sith but definitely still dark lol no redemption there. Just distancing himself from the Sith. He’s based out of Bastion right now!

You and your fellow Admin/Staff have put an impressive amount of effort into the lore surrounding the Commonwealth. While Imperialist entities typically given me reason for caution, the Commonwealth doesn't appear to be your typical imperial tyrants that I've come to know.

I'll be more than happy to learn more about the faction. What has me interested is the fact that you appear to be going for a more neutral alignment, lawful good, lawful evil, lawful neutral etc. This could provide justification for Balun's affiliation.
