Dirty Deeds

The sprawling spaceport was lined with ships in various sizes. Merchants and tradesman rushed about their business and the noise filled the air with a dense racket. Uncountable conversations spoken in numerous languages gave the atmosphere a tense feel. This noise and lively action was interrupted by a single shuttle. It was not painted in bright colors, or surrounded in yelling customers all bargaining for wares. It was tucked neatly into a dark corner of the port, devoid of a crowd and curious eyes.

Leaning next to the shuttles cargo hatch was a lone Korathian. Solitary and towering over the ports other visitors most kept their heads lowered as they passed by him.

The heat from all of the moving bodies was smoldering, and Ta loved it. The noise and shouts reminded him of his home on Korath. While he missed it, he had no desire to return for an extended stay anytime soon and so he decided to stay back and wait for his contact.

'On the matter of contacts, how long will I have to wait until i can get rid of this load? They should have been here by now.' Thought Ta as his clawed foot tapped slowly. He was hoping to cash this job in quick. However, he knew that jobs from the family rarely went fast.

The sprawling port was located next to one of Conglomerate Primes Market Bazaar, one of the smaller ones, but still busy so he could conduct his business. The United Trade Conglomerate was once a sprawling trade community and traded in rare Fringe and Unknown Regional product. Now with the Sith, First Order, and the Galactic Alliance nearing his trade planet he needed to increase profits to protect them from the threats.

The city was very elegant in its very unique structure built by the ancient race that once inhabited the planet. Even greenery could be seen growing on sides of bridges and buildings as they stretched to reach the sky. Unlike Coruscant, Prime had clear sky's and clean air, heated up by the bodies that filled the market place and the layers of living space that made the layered city. Jaster loved this planet, even after his long recovery and his new biotic power armor.

Jaster walked through the streets with a pare of soldiers dressed in pitch black armor. The Secret Police that were under direct control of the Viceroy himself. His power armored body stood high above the rest of the normal sized aliens, he could not leave the armor or he would die. He could not hide himself as he was covered in colorful red sashes and designs on his armor. He walked to the meeting place where he payed off the customs officer to look the other way.

As he approved the port his men scanned the area, the strange creature leaning must be [member="Kho' Zha' Ta"]. Jaster let his men stay behind as he approached the creature he had never seen before. That interested him.

"Hello, are you the gun runner I am to meet?" Jaster machine like voice priced the air as it spoke firmly and clearly.

Another day, another job and this one was going to be hard if she wasn't careful. She needed to go over some of the things with her attention on her equipment. Getting the utility belt of what she needed as well as all of the gear. Her light armor from sasori and the channeling crushgaunts for a superior grip as needed. She had some of her equipment before she crouched down near her ship looking over some of the things pulling her hair back into a tight ponytail, then high up. She let the republic gungnir armor that was retrofitted down to be a vest and pants with boots leaving her arms bare while she was running through things in her head.

Ta gives a curt nod to the strange man standing before him. He scans him up and down to see if he matches the vague description he was given. Once satisfied Ta pounds on the side of the ship and the rear bay door lowers open. Ta ducks his head to enter the bay and gives [member="Jaster of Clan Awaud"] a waving signal to come inside.

From the outside looking in, the ships hold is a dark anomaly in the bright port. If one was paying attention they would be able to see several large crates inside of the room.

The creature gives a look around to confirm there are no unwanted observers before lifting one of the box lids with his foot. Inside are 2 stacks of unmarked and jet black blaster rifles. Each stack has 15 rifles inside them coming to a total of 30 in the container.

After checking again for observers, Ta rumbles in a deeply accented form of Basic,

"There are 5 more shipments like this, and 3 shipments of carbine blasters, also unmarked."

Jaster looked at the strange creature, [member="Kho' Zha' Ta"], as it studied him. The creature carried a strange tone that Jaster almost didn't understand, it told him to follow. The cargo bay of the ship he was leaning against. It seemed rather old, or rustic as it creaked open. He studied the area, this wasn't the first time he worked outside the workings of the law. He had shipped arms and smuggled ships into the old Hutt Cartel before they fell. He knew the dealer was not here to do anything but make a profit, Jaster had ships, weapons, and monetary supplied to pay the dealer. Though the contact that made this happened didn't mention a payment so Jaster was worried there would be a double crossing.

Jaster stood outside the cargo bay and looked over his shoulder, nodding once. From the shadows a man in black armor approached, unarmed and visor will down. This man continued to walk to Jasters side and they made eye contact. With another nod from Jaster as he followed up with, "Test the weapons."

The man approached the open create and took the first weapon, and without looking at the creature checked the weapon for any defects. Even to the extent of taking the weapon apart. Once he was happy with what he saw he turned to Jaster and nodded, "They check out sir"

Jaster sighed, this was going a little too well?

Ta lightly bowed his head and murmured something in his native tongue, it sounded more like clicking than words.

He then lowered himself to sit casually on top of one of the crates

Grinning widely "I trust everything is to your liking? There only comes the matter of price."

Suddenly the grin disappears, Ta's face is like a blank slate devoid of emotion.
"13 thousand credits per box. 10 thousand for the carbine shipments. The payment medium is up to you, but there is less wiggle room for the cost."

Jaster looked at the creature, [member="Kho' Zha' Ta"], the weapons were relics. He needed more weapons then his plants could create, and with a war zone closing in on his world his smuggling lanes and trade zones were all in deep trouble. He made it through the bordering world, and brough needed weapons he could sell to the other nations to keep himself neutral. He could take all the weapons he could at the moment, only problem, the price was too steep.

He looked at his soldier to bring the weapon to him, and the man in the black armor did so. Jaster took the weapon, it not a Vulcan but still pretty well scavenged weapons. "Drop the price to 10 per box and 10 per shipment and I'll call it a deal." Jaster looked up from the weapon and looked back at the man.

Ta squints and considers the man in front of him. He was never good with this kind of stuff, but it was necessary.

After all, if he couldn't make a trade then this risk would have been for nothing. "Yes, yes that will do. There are 12 boxes of these rifles, and 4 of the carbines."

With a cock of his head he returns his gaze from the cargo surrounding him to [member="Jaster of Clan Awaud"] and exhales loudly. Who knew sparking a rebellion would be this nerve-wracking? Nodding to himself deep in thought Ta speaks again "Shall you be taking all of them?" His deep accent almost completely masking his words.

SOmething was happening down there when she arrived, looking over everything and straightening the electrobinoculars for a moment as the girl watched for what she could and her eyes were black pools. Committing their faces to memory before she started to work so that she could listen in. There were crates from the looks of it and she could not see it before she rubbed her hands together giving some of the attention to what she could get. "Alright lets see what we can get from you guys now."

This creature Jaster was making a deal with was of interesting origin. It, or from what it sounded like, he was very internet on selling these weapons. If Jaster could get a sample of [member="Kho' Zha' Ta"] species, he could create legions of super soldiers, or at least test where it would take him. Instead Jaster just looked at the male alien, and nodded his head. "I'll take what you have here, and will order another 5 shipments, if you can complete your shipments by the end of next month I'll even give you a job."

Jaster throw the weapon he was holding to a Conglomerate Police Officer standing behind him. The Conglomerate police were suppose to protect the streets, outpost and colonies where the the Conglomerate set up. In reality they were a Private Military Force that took orders and bribes from the Board of Directors and the Viceroy. The Officer, in the same armor as those in black, but in blue and white, went on the radio. As if by magic, crew workers brought in 16 barrels and a suitcase.

Jaster walked over to the barrels and tapped on the side, "Liquide Tibanna gas, around 21,000 credits a barrel on the black market, that's a total of 350,000 credits in total, consider it a bonus if you get me the weapons I need."

Ta smiled and rubbed his large claws greedily, If this business worked out so well he could make his move back home in no time. "Me and my crew can help you unload these, or your men can handle it, or i can even work out dropping them off elsewhere. It may be better if you had a more discreet location to move them, but if caution isn't your thing do as you shall. I shall have my associates deliver the rest soon if this job is good enough i'm sure they will be mobilized in no time."

His eyes glance to the suitcase that [member="Jaster of Clan Awaud"] 's men brought with them, if he had eyebrows they would be raised high in curiosity- or concern. "And what may that be?"

That haunting grin crawled back across his Ta's face. "Its a deal."
He extends a razor sharp clawed hand toward [member="Jaster of Clan Awaud"]. "Pleasure doing business, I can see a profitable future in store for both of us. I shall ready my people for the rest of your shipments... Now tell me more about this contract?"

[member="Kyoko Ike"]

Kyoko moved with interest to many of the things as she slipped in a little closer ad crouched down low listening intently to the two of them. She couldn't make it all out but as a business deal the very pale woman was hugging the shadows to avoid being seen and making herself small in comparison to some of the things. She positioned herself to keep listening
