Away from the bloodshed in the galactic core many opportunities were being created from the chaos. For the unscrupulous type it was a time to take action to climb the ladder afforded by that chaos. Whether it be within the Core itself or beyond its tight borders. In the lush tropical world of Dubrillion it was largely business as usual. In its capital city the sun shined bright, seagulls flew overhead, waves crashed against the beautiful beaches, and old yet colorful landspeeders perused the busy streets.
Okuma stepped outside into the warm yet breezy air. He always came to appreciate such weather after growing up in the stale, sunless caverns of Quarzite. The Kage wondered if the dwellers of Corusant’s undercity might get to see the sun. So long as the conflict there cracked the planet’s outer levels open enough to let the radiant light into the shady underworld.
Pulling out a handkerchief he wiped away some crimson blood off his cheek. Thankful that by some miracle he’d managed to avoid getting any more of the fluid on him. Okuma looked back inside to just make sure everyone was dead. Seeing one of his targets slump off their chair and onto the floor with a heavy thud. It looked to be a mission accomplished.
Before he stepped away he closed the door behind him. Leaving the bodies of the political dissidents for someone else to stumble across. The Kage had been hired to deal with a local rebel cell within the capital, and bring a swift end to the den they used to meet up. Planting a bit of incriminating evidence to make it look more like the result of organized crime than something more politically motivated.
Walking down a tight alleyway, Okuma called his contact to let them know the job was done and learned that credits were now deposited. “For the sake of discretion we would like for you to leave Dubrillion at your earliest convenience.”
“Huh? You wanna get rid of me that quick? But it’s too nice here for me to wanna leave so soon.” Okuma teased over the phone.
“...We advise that you-”
“Well looks like the money’s in the bank now so I don’t work for you any longer. Take care.” Okuma cut them off before ending the call abruptly. Now that he was done working on behalf of the local despot he figured he could enjoy his time on the planet some more. As he just mentioned. The weather was too nice to make him want to move along already. As he walked along on a sidewalk the mercenary wondered if he should go to the beach, grab a drink, or something else. He had plenty of money to spend now and time to kill…

[OOC: Little more than a glorified beach thread TBH. Anyone can join. Come and enjoy the nice weather and warm beaches. Explore the capital city, or the lush ecosystem of this former Imperial/Sith world.]
