General Rule #12 has now been updated.

12. Users are prohibited from advertising external websites or services with the intention of either personal gain or distracting from the community. Chaos-related Discords (Factions) may be advertised either on Faction pages or in the SWRP Chaos Discord channel: #faction_adverts.

External/Faction Discord advertising is now banned in articles, statuses, signatures, etc with the exception of in your respective Factions or in the assigned channel in the SWRP Discord.

Yes, it'll be retroactive *where necessary and at Staff's discretion.

Ads aren't banned. Specifically advertising for Discords are banned.

I know ads themselves aren't banned, I was asking if this ban of posting discord links included faction ads in the faction forum. But, thanks for your response all the same.
