- Droid Mission Bay: holds up to eighty of the following droids
- System Sniper: The Dismet II has long-range energy torpedo launchers which when coupled to targeting data provided by its Metis Sensor Array make it a fairly accurate sniper against distant targets even in heavily jammed battlefields.
- Starfighter Killer: The Dismet II has a large number of anti-starfighter weapons, making it very capable of attacking starfighters and other small craft at a variety of ranges.
- Scout Ship: The Dismet II has unusually powerful sensor arrays, with a survey and detection roles being performed by an Orontes Sensor Array while tactical functions are performed by a Metis Sensor Array. This makes the Dismet useful in a variety of situations.
- Weak Defenses: The Dismet II's composite hull is optimized for fuel efficiency and environmental protection from environmental radiation during its scouting duties, which combined with low-powered shields do not make it a very durable combat vessel.
The Dismet II is an upgraded version of the Dismet I designed for exclusive use by the Directorate and its member companies. Its most noticeable change is the inclusion of several energy torpedo launcher turrets, which actually give it the punch to take on other capital ships. When coupled with the addition of an advanced tactical sensor array, the Dismet II's fire control is much improved at all ranges. Dismet II's can thus harass many larger ships from a distance with little chance of effective retaliation thanks to its small size, speed, and jamming array. While a single Dismet II isn't likely to be a threat to a star destroyer in this way, large numbers of them can whittle away an opponent, or at least make it more vulnerable for a larger friend. Dismet IIs in Directorate service tend to be fielded a little bit more proactively than their predecessors, often acting as exploratory base ships or even as commerce raiders in times of war. In both of these roles, the addition of Torrential Hyperdrive Booster can make the Dismet II exceptionally mobile, travelling far faster in hyperspace than most ships its size.
