Disorganized Fun (Rach)

Junction City
This was a place people stopped through and sometimes got lot in. Spencer wasn't one of those people who wanted to get lost; she was here to find someone. Spencer remembered what the man looked like and with some information from some of the people who had seen the man mentioned this place and this certain bar. Spencer stopped in front of the bouncers and waved her hand, though she didn't have to do any sort of Jedi mind trick. The men smirked and opened the doors to the bar. An eyebrow raised and then she remembered the rather risqué attire she was wearing. Her stomach showing and a skirt that was pulled up at a classy yet "come get me length".

She remembered what he felt like back at the wedding and decided to try and search Rach by his aura. She didn’t know if he was going to be hiding it, but it would be best to try and search that way. While she made eye contact with a few people she moved towards the bar, a drink waited for her as she looked over at the bartender. The man was one of her informants, though not by choice. There was an unwritten code between the bartender and his patrons. He was the king of all gossip and the owner of the tightest lips. Her mental abilities worked on his weak mind and he was her little puppy in this place.

"Good to see you Harris, you've been good?"

"Sleemo"

"I'll take that as a yes, thanks for the drink - next time though if you're going to poison me don't use the cheap stuff kay?"

Spencer wiped her mouth and took in a deep breath, the force focused on detoxifying the simple poison from her body. The bartender grabbed the glass and poured her an actual drink and went back to his work. Looking around, she took the drink and sipped it. Spencer didn't like it much, but she needed to calm her nerves before she attempted giving Rach a taste of his own poison.

Junction. Sith took it, Mandos took it back, not the sort of place to wander around with a lightsabre. Good thing, then, that Rach didn't carry one.

Especially not when socializing. A beskar knife in the small of his back, sure, underneath a white suit coat. Tonight was 'classy' night. 'Classy' night basically equated to 'dress nice and pick up girls who like to be arm candy for someone wealthy.'

The blonde at the bar had all the hallmarks of an eighteen-year-old club tramp with zero self-respect.

He sat down beside her, and a bottle floated over to his hand behind the barkeep's back. "I can undress you with my mind," he said. "Have some."

Spencer nearly choked on her drink as she listened to him talk about undressing her with his mind. To prevent her from spitting out the drink, she consumed it all in one gulp. Placing the glass onto the counter, she looked at him quickly with a face brighter than a known twi'lek's bottom. She slid her glass to him and took his offer. Spencer had to make sure she didn't have too much to drink, she was a bit of a light weight and too much of the amber liquid would stray her from her conquest. A part of her wanted to get this over with and fight him straight on, but if she could some how beat him at his own game -- that would be satisfying enough...hopefully.

"Well then my goal at getting your attention has worked then? I had a feeling I'd run into you here -- Rach was it?"

Taking a sip of the new drink she smiled. A part of her wondered if he recognized her from the wedding, but she decided not to push it too much. Leaning against the bar top she placed her back against it and looked out to the crowd. Their emotions swirling inside of her mind and she did her best to push them out, why was it when alcohol was involved the only thing on people's mind was sex or something along those lines. Wrinkling her nose she took another sip.

"What have you been up too?"

Spencer tried her best to sound a bit seductive and interested in finding out about how he really was.

"You know my name? Well, I've been known to enjoy someone having the advantage over me. I can work with that. For someone like you."

Rach looked out over the crowd. Like Spencer, he felt a goodly number of things, most of them fairly one-note. Unlike Spencer, the Dark Master didn't wrinkle his nose. His nostrils flared, and he inhaled sharply. "Good crowd tonight," he said. "Hungry."

He turned back to Spencer, and his eyes bored into hers. "So let's be clear, because I like things to be clear. I like to be able to see right through them. What brings you here hoping to run into me?"

Spencer didn't flinch, he looked at her possibly trying to intimidate her. Taking another sip of the drink, her eyes never leaving his. Smiling softly she tilted her head slightly and shrugged. She had to figure out how to keep this from getting violent, to use her brain.

She wasn't as dumb as she looked.

"Well, I've heard you were quite the ladies man... I wanted to see for myself. I always enjoy a challenge don't you? "

Her eyes showed her confidence and when she broke the gaze she nodded towards the crowd in front of them.

" They are a good crowd, but none of them are worth it in my opinion. "

His face grew still.

"I like a clear challenge, yes. I like to be able to see the gameboard. The more you talk, the more I keep thinking you've got me fooling around in the dark -- and not in the good way. And you like it. See, the more complicated you are, the less interested I am.

"So let's make things simple. You came here to offer me a challenge -- spell it out. Find a challenge that can be framed, that can be put into words. Give me some traction here, and I'll return the favor. You put yourself in my way and ask me to work for it? Ehh...I'd rather make you feel just a little off balance."

Her stool wobbled, just slightly.

"Mentally, I mean," he said without missing a beat. "Like, say, if I was to ask why you saw the barkeep put something in your drink and you drank it anyway..."

Maybe she should have given him more credit. She placed the glass down behind her. So she had to be a bit honest with her intent. He wasn't like the boys she had met before... So there was a reason Ashin knew ihim. Placing her hands in her lap she looked back him.

"Well I've been looking for you because I need to defeat you. Its part of my trials."

Spencer's sile faded sightly, she had lost round one.

Rach coughed on his drink. "So what you're telling," he said after a long moment, "is that you can undress me with your mind. Trials. Not Knight trials -- nobody would send a Padawan or an Apprentice after me. You're awfully young for Master trials, but that might not be your real face. I've known a few alchemists or illusionists who could change their faces.

"Then again, I doubt they'd be quite so successful at creating eighteen-year-old legs out of thin air. So you really are this young, and this blonde." He sipped again and shrugged. "Which narrows down the list of possibilities somewhat. Fine. You'll have your fight. Dark Side or Light?"

"If you're asking if I'm legal then yes I am. I turned 18 some time ago."

She bent her knees inward as he remarked on her legs and basically her outward appearance. She was young but she was more of a challenge then he'd expect. Either way she was going to defeat him no matter how many times she had to get up and try again.

"As for undressing you with my mind, you'll be surprised what I can do with my mind... "

Smirking, she once again made her attempt to seduce him, the alcohol kicked in and she relaxed her posture a bit and her legs not trying to bend inward.

" Dark or light, I prefer neither, because I'm neither light or dark. But to figure out what I am or how this will happen we can roll a dice? "

"Neither light nor dark? Well, that is...fascinating. Because, to me, light and dark are all about motivation. What drives you? Yourself? Or altruism? Both?"

He shrugged and replaced his empty glass on the bar. "I'm bored, kid. Enliven my boredom, and give me some credit. There are few people hot enough to mess with after I know that they know who I am. I've had too many sisters, girlfriends and mothers of ex-flings throw themselves at me to ignore the strong possibility of not waking up the morning after."

He closed his hand, and the stool shattered under her.

Instead of falling flat on her butt, the girl caught herself and landed a bit off balance on her feet. Cursing, she looked at the man and narrowed her eyes. It seemed this wasn't going to go how she had planned. Gaining a better footing the girl focused the force on the man's stool. Two could play this game and with a sweeping gesture of her hand, the stool flipped from under him. Crossing her arms being quite pleased with what she had done, the girl smirked and shrugged.

"What motivates me? Complete freedom essentially. With the light there are things that bind you preventing you from acting of your own free will, with the darkness you basically sacrifice yourself to gain ultimate power. I want neither, I want my freedom, but not ultimate power. Eventually, I want to make a change in the galaxy and I can't do that with an understanding of one side of the force."

"I'm bored as well, I had hoped to have a little fun while attempting to play this flirtatious game. Force knows I have no skill with that -- so how about we do something a bit different, I still have to defeat you."

A sudden but predictable moment of off-balance disorientation ended as he caught himself and landed tidily.

"Defeat me, you say. Well, ultimately, if you-"

Right in the middle of his sentence, his hand snapped out and lightning arced -- not towards her, but towards the crowd. Dancers went flying, and smoke curled up from them to set off the fire alarms. Sprinklers rained water on everyone and everything. Total sensory overload -- noise, water, lightning, lights blowing out, sudden terror from dozens of people.

And in that moment, another bolt of lightning snapped out, this one directed at her.
