- Heavy repeating blaster rifle with heavy damage capability
- Long Range
- Rugged, durable, and easily maintained in its standard variant
- Secondary variations come with scopes, though there is nothing preventing a scope from being attached to the standard variant either.
- The Single Shot Variation is incredibly quiet, making it ideal for assassinations
- Mass proliferation means weapon can be found on virtually any in habitable planet
- Wardog: This heavy blaster rifle is considered dangerously OP even a millenia after it was introduced. Its raw damage at even standard level, and its high rate of fire and range can potentially punch through even the heaviest armor. Two or three of these bad boys and you actually stand a solid chance of overwhelming a Jedi's blaster defense via lightsaber
- Variety: So immensely modular it can be converted into two other variations, one a heavy damage variant, that's even more OP, and a Sniping variant with an incredibly quiet firing sound, and can accept a wide variety of after market mods (Anything changing the base stats of any variation requires a new sub)
- Apocalypse Proof: Rugged and extremely difficult to damage. Even the most ancient models of the standard variant are often still in nearly perfect combat capability, requiring only slightly more maintainance than usual.
- Proliferation: Can be found/made almost anywhere
- Recoil: No matter the variant, expect it to kick like a mule
- Low Ammo Count: Not terribly high to begin with standard variant, but lowers drastically with the two other variations
- Variant repair issues: The more powerful a variant is, the more maintainance it needs, with the 19D requiring twice the maintainance, and the 19X requiring 3 times the repairs
- Variant fire rates: Its two other variants have much lower rates of fire, with the 19X being the slowest
- Ace Custom: to exploit the 19X's full range, a tripod, and stability modifications to the rifle and shooting from a fixed position are an absolute must. Otherwise, its range will be that of a standard 19.
- Quieter, Not silent: The shots fired by the 19X are much, much quieter than regular blaster shots, but they are not totally silenced: they simply make it harder to pinpoint a shooters exact location as they must be closer to hear it properly. But it is far from totally silent
The DLT-19 is a design of such rugged simplicity, yet such terrifying effectiveness, that even Millenia after it was introduced its still pinning troops down, its rate of fire and power enough to bring down even a Jedi in the right circumstances, especially if you have at least a few of them. It's so cleverly designed it can be converted into two seperate variations, one with an even more rediculously deadly shot, and another built to kill targets with a quieter sounding shot. Stores of these still turn up on nearly every inhabitable planet, the design stolen and copied so heavily that even the most out of the way alien species may occasionally recognize it.
All in all, this lethal machine will get the job done, one way or another.
