A couple of decades back, the Lords of the Fringe ruled the Unknown Regions. Their manufacturer, Iron Crown, created the DNK0 droids as spotters for Fringe snipers. Ashin took an instant liking to the little droids and has owned several. Since the Fringe Confederation collapsed and Iron Crown discontinued the line, secondhand DNK0 droids have been prized possessions for those marksmen lucky enough to own one. Ashin sent a DNK0 to the Shard known as
Rusty
as a thank-you gift for assisting in Ashin's quest to resurrect her wife.
