Do we need faction threads/collaborative stories?

Hello everyone,

I'm currently questioning the need for collaborative RP between our members, though completely optional, it might be a good start to get everyone role-playing with one another, given our shared interest in the return of the Jedi Order one day.

While the idea and main theme of this thread is based around our characters beliefs/hopes/intentions, the threads themselves would not need to be purely Force user related content but simply build on relationships between our members, both IC and OOC.

Any thoughts, feel free to speak your minds.

Need them? No, we don't. But, to really create a vibrant faction community, then yeah, we would need some to get things going, exciting, and interesting, also to draw in more interested people.

I've given this some time and honestly with the lack of responses I'll need a little longer to think on it but I'm considering something with a bit more solidity. Veiere is currently situated upon Commoner and within the new faction for the planet, I am thinking about holding some sort of new conclave for this faction alone and given the interest possibly even setting up a temple of some sort to dedicate towards the old way and perhaps set up a future basis for this faction to grow into something more.

I'm swimming against the tide here most likely but I wanted more for this faction when I started it and I dedicated myself to pursuing the Jedi path with this character, it may not fit everyone elses desires but I still seek to establish that eventual path and fulfill this characters oath to serve the force. If it can be done through this faction, that would be preferable and perhaps open up opportunities down the line.

If it's just [member="Tiland Kortun"], myself and [member="Lady Kay"] however, I don't have a great deal of faith and would rather attempt a major faction and fail it than keep this and have it inactive and insignificant.
