Chroma Zed

Taking a deep breath Anastasia let the ocean breeze fill her senses as she overlooked the ocean. The way the sun hit the water made it look like the water was sparkling. It was a beautiful sight to behold along with the waves as they crashed along the shoreline.

Her feet began to sink in the sand as she stood there in a tank top and shorts. Underneath she had on a pink bikini in case she decided to jump in the water which she did even if it was freezing cold which she suspected it to be.

Turning her head she looked for [member="Cryax Bane"] whom was supposed to be joining her on the beach once he got ready. She was surprised it was taking him this long to put on a pair of swimming trunks. Sighing lightly she shook her head and turned back to the water take a few steps closer.

This was supposed to be their mini getaway from real life as well as a chance to spend some quality time with each other. As it was both were quite busy with their day jobs.

 

[Cryax Bane]

Cryax knew he was taking forever to get ready. The Chiss slicer, who was on vacation with his girlfriend [member="Anastasia Rade"], wasn't accustomed to the heat that radiated off of the sunbaked rocks of Chroma Zed, and two bottles of sunscreen later, he was finally satisfied his blue skin had protection from the sun's harsh rays. Plus there was the age old decision of swim trunk or speedo. Cryax was self-conscious enough about his lanky body, so with a speedo out of the question, he opted for the longer swim trunks. At least they covered up the burn scars on his upper thigh. His cybernetic knee, not so much.

With a frown, he assessed his reflection. Not bad, he thought, exchanging his usual nerd glasses for some high-tech polarized lenses. Why he didn't just invest in a pair of cyber eyes already was beyond him. He supposed he had just grown fond of how he looked in glasses.

Their resort was fairly strict about weapons but Cryax had smuggled in a vibroblade just in case. He dropped it in a bag and left their hotel room, instinctively watching his back for any bounty hunters or unsavory people.

Anastasia stood out in the water, looking radiant, and the slicer snuck up behind her and grabbed her, giving her a quick squeeze. "Sorry that took so long babe," he chuckled. "I wanted to make sure that I was covered up enough so as not to cause a riot of ladies." He joked with a slight tone of self-deprecation. "Speaking of riots, you look like you could attract a small army of males in that." Cryax nodded with a grin, indicating her outfit.

"By the way, this was an amazing idea, darling. I can't believe how beautiful this place is."

[Audrey Thénardier]

Even the highest of soceity members, both in nobility and in the crime underworld, needed time off to relax. Lady Thénardier hadn't been to the beach in some time, and knowing that her fellow Red Raven member [member="Cryax Bane"] would be on Chroma Zed gave more of a reason to go and not feel too out of place. If anything she could chalk this up as just a means of getting away from the drudgery of leading life as both a noble house head and a criminal lord of her own private gang and company.

The shuttle had landed on the docking bay near the beach itself. During the trip over Audrey herself had been getting ready. She wore a fashionable one peice green suit while wearing a lacy shirt over it with a sun hat and dark visors to protect her eyes from the sun. She brought a bag with her that had, among other things, her book and a bottle of lotion along with a hidden blaster; just in case. When she exited she had her guards, two of them at least, follow her out to the beach before waiting at the shore. She told them they could join if they wished but both delicned; feeling it would be irregular of them.

For a moment Audrey scouted out the immediate area before finally spotting the familiar face of Bane. The Chiss tended to stand out with so blue as skin as he had. Still at least Audrey wouldn't be too alone to speak with someone if need be. She made her way over while alone her sandle covered feet to skim through the sands.

Upon reaching him she looked and said "I see even the secretary needs time off as well." A friendly smile on her face. Once she had his attention she kept her smile while saying "Nice to see you here, Mr. Bane. And who is your lovely friend here?" she indicated [member="Anastasia Rade"].

If it was unlikely to see her in a dress, than a bathing suit was definitely out of the question. But [member="Zatten Black"] had, once more, managed to convince her to do something she otherwise wouldn't have thought of. The bathing suit she had chosen was a happy compromise between a bikini and a one piece, once more in black. It was becoming her color, she'd noted, when it came to special occasions such as this. But none of the company involved seemed to mind, least of all a particular Zeltrochiss. Of course, not much of anything seemed to faze him.

Kadrak supposed this was to be a vacation of sorts, as Zatten had alluded to something similar during their trip to Coruscant. But, with their time together consisting of nothing else but wandering, or so it seemed, it wasn't much of an out of the way destination. And not one she minded, all things considered. Especially since they wouldn't have to watch their backs the entire time they were there, at least in a figurative sense.

So it was she found herself on a beach on the planet of Chroma Zed, a planet she'd never heard of in her life, much less been on. But that wasn't on the forefront of her mind as she waited for Zatten to make an appearance, wherever he might have been. Usually it was her taking a longer time to get ready, with him already out and terrorizing the general public. But a small smile found her face as she spotted [member="Cryax Bane"] with [member="Anastasia Rade"], and another unfamiliar figure. Maybe there would be more to it than just a simple vacation. With the couple, however, things were never simple.

[Anastasia Rade]

"It is, isn't it?" She smiled turning her head to lightly kiss him on the cheek. Anastasia was happy that he had agreed to join her on the beach vacation. They didn't get to spend a lot of time like this together as both were very busy professionals. "You could be covered head to toe and all the girls would still flock to you," she winked him. Ana knew he was self conscious about his body but he shouldn't be. He looked very sexy to her.

Lightly pulling on him she walked closer to the waters edge. Ana kind of wanted to build a sand castle like the children were around them. "What do you say to walking along the beach, maybe a little swim? You have yet to see my suit."

Before he could answer they were joined by [member="Audrey Thénardier"] whom seemed to know Cryax. It surprised her a little but perhaps it shouldn't he was making a name for himself out there. "Anastasia Rade, girlfriend." She smiled at the woman. "and you are?"

[Cryax Bane]

Blushing purple from Ana's comment, Cryax took her hand and, intertwining her fingers with his, raised it to his mouth and kissed it. "It wouldn't matter how many girls beat down my door. I only have eyes for one Mandalorian witch." A woman approached them and suddenly Cryax realized he knew her. It was Lady Audrey from Antecedent. Go figure.

The Chiss waited politely as Ana introduced herself and then smiled. "Lysle takes care of his Ravens. When I asked him if I could go on vacation he ended up paying for our shuttle." He grinned at his girlfriend. "Anastasia, Audrey here is an ally of the Ravens. Her family been generous in lending us valuable resources."

"What brings you to Chroma Zed, Lady Thenadier?" he asked. His eyes absently scanned the beach and noticed another recognizable figure. A Zabrak woman who also looked familiar. Was that [member="Kadrak Jalaan"]? It sure looked that way. If she was here then Zatten was likely nearby.

He leaned in and whispered to Anastasia. "Oddly enough I think you're about to get a chance to meet some very good friends of mine, darling."

[Audrey Thénardier]

With a small bow of the head to [member="Anastasia Rade"] when she introduced herself Audrey stood and listned as [member="Cryax Bane"] had taken the liberty of introducing her to his girlfriend as it were. Already she could tell these two were close, both seeming lucky for finding thier "other half" as it were. From there she listned as he explained how and why he was here before telling Ms. Rade of how her family helped the Ravens.

"Minoks of a feather and all that." she commented with a smirk before setting her bag down. As Mr. Bane asked why she was here she answered "Same as you, Mr. Bane. I'm still mortal after all, and even I need time away from both Courascant and Naboo. I'd actually asked Mr. Lysle the best place to vacation for the day and he told how you were coming here. I thought to make the best of an already decent situation."

At his comment about meeting friends of his Audrey turned to see an approching Zebrak woman. When she did Audrey had titled her glasses down to have a better. Aside for being very attractive, for a zebrak, she was wearing a very astounding swimsuit as well. Audrey couldn't help but smirk before allowing her to approch. She would let Mr. Bane have the first word, given his knowing of her, while she only stood and waited for introductions to be made.

[Aurora Starr]

Aurora had finally gotten away from her agents and security for a day on the beach and she was determined to enjoy every moment of it. She showed up on Chroma Zed in her new bikini, a pink and black attire she had bought just for the occasion. She couldn't help but feel a tad bit lonely as she looked around the beach and saw all the couples and families enjoying each other's company. Maybe she should have brought some of her fun security teams, maybe even her brother. It couldn't be helped she supposed, might as well try to meet some new people while she was here.

[Anastasia Rade]

Ana couldn't help but blush a bright red. One would have thought by now she would have been used to his adoring compliments but they hit her every time. It just reinforced to her that he was as head over heels for her as she was him.

It's nice of him, but he didn't have to. She had plenty of credits from her daytime job for her to actually get herself a nice little place. It was something Ana most definitely planned on doing. A nice little place somewhere in Mandalorian space.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Lady Thenadier," she smiled. "I didn't suspect we would be meeting any Ravens here. I heard Naboo is a nice too but I guess if you already live there it's not really a vacation. Would it be a good place to visit?" Anastasia had no quarrels about meeting Cryax's friends. She actually really did want to get to know his friends. The only thing she didn't want was them to begin to start talking business. She was trying to get him away from that even if only for a little while.

[Alask Diruno]

The day had been planned out. Do the job and just relax afterwards. Tracking down someone wasn't something he liked to do. However, credits didn't flow that easy in the rogue life even if you did many jobs. All Alask knew was the target's description and name. [member="Aurora Starr"]. Some celebrity that got on the person that ordered this hunt nerves. What must be done must be done.

When he landed on the planet she was seen on, Alask walked out with his black robes and grey cloak and hood on. Once he made it to a beach like area, he saw the target. That's when he heard a familiar voice. "Killing is one thing, killing for money is another." The voice was from one of the hooded men at his academy when he was a child. It was one of the wisest.

Alask had a choice. Continue the mission or spare her life. With little good in his heart, he decided to cancel the mission. Although the mission was over, he still needed to relax. Relaxing wasn't laying around or watching TV for him. He usually just trained or stared at things for knowledge. Walking past a group over to the water kneeling down, Alask splashed water in his face. It felt good.

[Zatten Black]

Chroma Zed was an interesting little place. The planet seemed to be mostly composed of coastline and beaches, and other fun things. If I looked hard enough, there was somebody driving what looked like a race car over the sand dunes. There was rock blaring from a speaker not twenty feet away, and I was perfectly at home with it. I was wearing a pair of swimming trunks with a certain historical figure printed on them.

Kadrak wasn't looking in my direction, and I saw a chance for a fun little joke. I shuffled quietly through the sand, coming up behind her. When I was only a foot away, I grabbed her around the waist, and kissed her cheek.

"You look bored without your Black Knight around, princess. There's so much to do here."

At Zatten's touch she leaned back into his arms with a smile, turning her head and pressing a kiss to his jaw. "You've taught me that there's nothing quite like fun without you around. And this is much more relaxing than our last trip to a similar area. Less deserted island and more populated resort. Not to mention that we have friends around this time." Kadrak nodded towards where [member="Cryax Bane"], [member="Anastasia Rade"] and [member="Audrey Thénardier"] stood, though the last woman was unfamiliar to her.

Snaking her hand down she intertwined their fingers, glancing to his swimming trunks with an amused smile. "Nice choice, but you might raise a few eyebrows. Not that I'll say anything, considering I appreciate this new view." As if to punctuate the statement she squeezed his hand gently, with another smile, beginning to walk with him towards the group.

"Fancy meeting you here, Cryax." She nodded politely in greeting to the three of them. The last time she'd seen the Chiss slicer, as best she could recall, was on Iridonia when she and Zatten had been there for a visit. But this time it seemed he wasn't on business.

I grinned at Kadrak, following her towards our friends. It wasn't awfully surprising to see Cryax here, but I didn't recognize the two women with him. One of them had her arm on the Chiss, and I assumed she was there with him.

"It looks like Cryax finally got what he wanted."

As we walked over, I laughed, and squeezed her tighter against me. I traced her mouth with a finger, and winked.

"You can have this view whenever you want, love. The Knight's here for his princess."

We got up to out blue friend and his girl, and I grinned at them.

"I'd bow to the ladies, but the effect would be lost without my cape. Hello, anyway. Good to see you, Cryax."

[Cryax Bane]

Upon seeing Anastasia blush, Cryax just grinned and pulled her closer. As he and Audrey exchanged a few words, he noticed that Zatten Black had joined Kadraak on the beach. He wondered with amusement if Zatten had detected his little prank, slicng into the Zelto-chiss's bank account as training for his assistant.

Soon the couple spied him and made their way over. He greeted them with a huge smile and stifled a laugh at Zatten's shorts. "Well look who it is. I had no idea Chroma Zed was such a galactic hotspot for couples." Then the Chiss quickly made some introductions.

"Kadraak Jalaan, Zatten Black, meet my lovely girlfriend, Anastasia Rade." Then he turned towards Audrey. "And here we have Lady Audrey Thenardier, a colleague of ours."

He gestured to their towels on the beach and turned towards the Zabrak and Zelto-chiss. "You're welcome to join us for some drinks on the beach. We have alot of catching up to do. And Audrey, you as well. Although not your guards, please." He chuckled lightly. "Where are they anyway?"

As Cryax felt water splash him, he glared down at a man nearby. The Chiss brushed some mud out of his cybernetic knee and turned to [member="Alask Diruno"] "Hey watch it, buddy."

[Audrey Thénardier]

As the zebrak girl approched, now to Audrey as [member="Kadrak Jalaan"], she realized how she wasn't alone. Seeing the handsome Zeltron with her Audrey did have a small sense of regret in her mind. Of course a zebrak girl like that would already be spoken for. But it mattered little to Audrey. She was used to not finding that special someone as of yet. However the two had made quite the lovely couple. And between both her and the man [member="Zatten Black"], along with [member="Cryax Bane"] and [member="Anastasia Rade"] Audrey herself was feeling like an odd man, or woman, out among the group.

Still when introductions were made Audrey either bowed or held her hand out for a handshake while saying "A pleasure to meet you both." After that she'd turned back to Ms. Rade before answering her question with "Having lived there long enough I can say that I'm used to the pretty sights and all. But that's just the words of a native. I'm sure to an off-worlder like yourself, Ms. Rade, you'd be very pleased with the scenery." Then she'd finally looked to Mr. Bane, hearing his comment about her guards, to which she chukled a small "Not to worry. They're close, but not that close. I did offer them a chance to relax but they're more inclinced to keep with tradition and all."

With all of that settled Audrey finally pulled out a beach blanket from her bag and laid it out, claiming her spot. After that she'd set everything down before looking around at the sight of the beach again, loving how it all felt. During that time she'd spotted both [member="Alask Diruno"] and [member="Aurora Starr"] while noting to herself how the two were looking at the group. After that she shrugged it off and sat down, waiting to see where the rest of this little gathering would go.

She would have to visit sometime when things were less crazy for herself. Ana had always wanted to travel a bit see the galaxy to make up for all the years spent living in a cage. Naboo would have to be one of those pit stops. If she was remembering correctly her brother's mother was the Queen as such she assumed that she too would be welcomed there. I haven't lived in one place for very long ever so even the scenery of Mandalore I still find lovely." One day she assumed that she would get used to it.

"Yes, join us for drinks. I read about this lovely little cantina that is on the beach. You can drink while watching the ocean. It sounds quite lovely to me." It was nice to meet all of Cryax friends and the way they were all here made it seem perhaps someone had put a flyer out that this was the place to be.

[Alask Diruno]

A voice spoke up near Alask. It was a man but he didn't turn to look at him. Still kneeled down by the water, he made his right hand into a fist but soon released it. Some would say he acted like a jerk but some people said the wrong things. "Oh, I'm sorry. Would you like me to lick it off of you?" he asked sarcastically resting his hand on his saber concealed by his cloak. All the people were talking and sharing thoughts. Again, maybe he was being too insecure. You can't trust anyone in the galaxy though. No one.

[Cryax Bane]

Cryax felt his eyes narrow at the stranger's comment. "I don't swing that way, but thanks," he scoffed. Dressed in his black cloak the man stood out like a sore thumb among the other beach-goers. There was something suspicious about him and Cryax's paranoia got the better of him. He couldn't go anywhere without fething bounty-hunters and other degenerates trying to take him out.

Putting his arm around Anastasia protectively, Cryax leveled his red glowing eyes at the cloaked man. "Where's your swimsuit, friend? You don't look much like you belong here at this resort."

[Zatten Black]

I knew this kid from somewhere... He'd made me want to Force Choke him once before, and I felt the same rush of loathing again. Honestly, he was like my polar opposite. A rogue clinging to the light, who committed dark acts in its name.

"Alask... I'll give you thirty seconds before I throw you back out to sea. Less, if you draw that pretty glowstick of yours."

He was still wearing that bloody cloak, too. Like it made him some kind of badass. Or some kind of Jedi. I looked over at the woman who'd introduced herself as Anastasia, and nodded.

"Of course we'll go for drinks after this. Let's just find out why this one's here."

"Oi! Blue Boy!" called a gruff voice from across the bar, followed by a greeting in droidspeak.

The towering whiphid, lacking his armor and sporting a pair of adapted sunglasses, and R4 T10 wandered over "How are ya you slippery son of a Womp rat?" he laughed loudly, taking a seat at the bar next to him~ R4 rolling up and blooping his greetings, cracking a joke about saving his skin

He flashed the others present a 3-clawed wave before ordering a drink. Looks like the chiss and his lady wouldn't get peace and quiet that easily!
