Keepin Corellia Weird
So, we can start this now, or later, but the idea is a quest to the land of Kryat Dragons to hunt some of them for their pearls, to use as a lightsaber color crystal. They have a neat effect, so I was told, of adding a pearlescent color to whatever else they are added to, or just a plain pearlescent sheened blade if used exclusively.
As well for this thread in general, it would be a chance to learn things and have a combat exercise. Julius knows a few Force Alter and Movement powers that are almost *certain* to be used in this thread, and possibly passed on if the opportunity presents itself. No better teacher than necessity.
Kryats are by no means an easy thing to kill, even for experienced Force Users by most sources, and so there is a challenge for us all in it. Plus, even if you don't need the color crystal, they sell for a hefty penny if you could use some credits. Or, you know, find a jewler and make pretty things for that twi'lek you like. And their hides are a nice rugged sort of leather I imagine a fringer or spacer might appreciate.
I'm content to wait until Micah's snow expedition thread wraps up, so we don't spread too thin or split interest, but I figured i'd get interest gauged now, so we can plot up a good story line, and so if anyone is interested in having such, I can drub up some PC opposition. You know, a bounty hunter or some such... Actually, yeah, I know a few Mandos might make this fun.
