---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:

+ Combat modifications; left hand blasters substituted for gas/mist/liquid sprayer, taken from an internal tank.

+ Survivalist; with Dock's core directives wiped, besides his main combative programming, he has since learned to farm and has a strong survival instinct.

+ Non-conventional power source; Dock's primary method of fueling is solar based, with panels along his outside and internally.

+ Learning; years of living by himself have improved Dock's general machine learning and improvement capabilities to the point of being self aware and near sentient.

- Narrow minded/xenophobic; Dock has almost never interacted with non-droids. He can only communicate in binary with other droid forms and Ewok.

- Weakened firepower; Dock has only one twin blaster cannon, mounted on his right arm.

- Non-conventional power source; without taking fuel or power cells while using only solar, Dock's can only rely on time or further modifications to be able to charge faster. He can't refuel like most other droids.

= He is otherwise a standard P Series Droideka.

APPEARANCE:

Dock looks like a standard P Series Droideka besides his modified right blaster along with the occasional solar panel.

BIOGRAPHY:

Dock was originally a decommissioned P Series Droideka that had undergone some modifications to be able to undergo missions without routine maintenance and sustain basic functionality (i.e, solar panels). Due to general incompetency when being decommissioned, he had his core directives and memory wiped but was not fully powered down, instead only getting put to sleep. His known languages that could be wiped were all wiped, with the exception of Ewok (the technician handling the decommissioning was a bit of a prankster). With his stand-by mode in ball form for optimized charging, he was summarily scrapped along with a regular load of trash onto a nearby unattended planet.

Upon getting charged back to 100% battery capacity, Dock was awoken and found himself in the middle of a trash and scrap pile for a day or two, awaiting his first directives and orders with no one else nearby on the planet to give them. It was only when through sheer luck and strong winds, a tourist recording began to play while Dock stood there. "... and survive!" It resumed, in Ewok. "Farming is your primary method of obtaining food and surviving when on a new planet. Hunting is always a gamble, with native parasites and diseases to deal with. In a hostile ecosystem, find usable soil and use seeds from crops that you know are SAFE to turn the unknown biosphere into YOUR biosphere! It's the only way to keep you and your family safe, which as a decent being, is your primary goal!"

With the recording ended, Dock began looking for suitable seeds, crops for farming and a suitable place to begin farming. Storing a load of organic produce garbage from the trash heap nearby, he began rolling away to land that he could begin farming somewhere else on the planet. His solar panels kept him charged on his journey to homesteading.

It was a few weeks after this that Dock located a suitably hostile ecosystem and began trying to farm unsuccessfully as he explored it. Getting absolutely nowhere with farming and getting somewhere while roaming the hostile environment, Dock eventually happened upon an old abandoned ranch. With its living inhabitants all killed off by disease, the only survivors were a group of SE-2 Worker Droids maintaining the place. Concluding that they would be able to teach Dock how to farm and survive, Dock began learning from them and using their fields to farm the few seeds that he had scavenged from the trash drop that had actually survived.

Years passed like this as Dock worked with the worker droids, maintaining an ever-growing farm - and occasionally fending off the local SE-2 Worker Droid thief that was doing his own thing - and things were looking up. For optimized farming, the Droideka had taken one of the last pieces of usable mundane farm equipment, a multi-nozzle gas, sprinkling and misting hose, and modified it to pull from his fuel tank (unneeded now that he was surviving completely off of solar power) and mounted on his right arm where the twin-blaster had been. Dock was steadily filling his data banks with farming know-how and general survival skills when the scavenger ship landed on his planet.

Dock was unable to fend off the scavengers with just one blaster, and his mister filled with water as he was quickly incapacitated and captured. His family SE-2 worker droids were destroyed for their more valuable parts and his crops were ruined when they were judged to be less valuable than the other cargo they already had on their full ship. A few other captured droids were tossed onto the planet side to make room for Dock, with a Droideka being worth much more than the dumb working droids, and he was quickly pulled off planet away from his destroyed farm and dead family.

Left to stew in the ship's cargo bay on the scavenger's trip to other lootable planets, Dock began thinking away. Considering how to best protect his family, and if farming living, breathing things counted as farming crops too. Because clearly, flesh beings were not his family, they were a native parasite and made up a hostile ecosystem.
