Doctor Looking to be of Service

Doctor Terrani is a trained medical professional whom I want to have a place in the First Order. I have perused the military assets and structure threads, but I still have a few questions:

What might be a suitable rank for her to start at? I envision Terrani as more of a naval ship/station doctor than a field medic.

As for ships, should I get permission to be stationed on a specific vessel, or should I just pick one?

Hello again!
I bring gifts: more information that may or may not be helpful towards Doctor Terrani's placement.
I have hammered out most of her character bio (though it will say WIP until I can fill in the faction-related blanks), and have much more of an idea of the role I wish Terrani to carry out in the Order. That being said, I want her to fit into the faction in a nice and "canon" way--hence why I am asking for help/advice.

Doctor Terrani has, obviously, a doctorate in medicine and is specialized in both emergency medicine and minor surgery necessary for that, and general practice. This gives her the ability to flip back and forth to work with military casualties and Imperial citizens as the Order needs at any given point.

Though, I have the vision that the doctor would predominantly serve on a ship as a ranking Naval officer, and she would work with the wounded as they passed through.
I also see her working on a ship that deals with POWs, and would oversees their interrogation (*cough* probably torture *cough* *cough*).
And, as I said in my first post, I do not want Terrani to be a field medic--at least to start. She may or may not open up to the possibility of combat in the future.

Also, a bit of a side-note, is an approved factory location free for community use? For example, Terrani's page says she took an 8-year residency on FMIS Mountbatten, one of 5 First Order Windsor-class med-stations (x).
If that's not allowed, I can easily write it out of her bio. c:

Firstly, welcome aboard! I have to say, I adore the bio, and the dedication to it. It honestly is an amazing read, wish I could make mine nearly as flashy as yours.

As for postings, I think it is safe to say that the FIMS would be busy supporting our push into Galactic Alliance territory. I would personally say that, it'd be nice to have Dr Terrani perhaps serve as a medical adjunct to my character, Fleet Admiral Rausgeber. Advising him, and acting as a representative when it comes to the concerns of medical practitioners. Plenty of conflict potential there, with Rausgeber perhaps being a little more cold, and calculating when it comes to his men's well being than perhaps Dr Terrani would like.

As for the query about the station, there shouldn't be any qualms with that. I don't speak from a position of authority, but I can say with some confidence that having been stationed aboard one of our medical stations is something you would be able to say your character has done.

Also, yes, that sounds perfect!! Sign Terrani up. Medical adjunct--she feels useful already.
Does the Fleet Admiral command a specific flagship that I can include in my bio, just for information's sake?
I'm entertaining the idea of Doctor Terrani alternating between working on the fleet and working on the various stations. Best of both worlds.

As for the station, noted. I'll just leave it if and until someone asks me to change it.

Command vessels change from RP to RP. However, the usual place you'll see him is aboard the FIV Malice, a heavily modified Resurgent-Class Star Destroyer. However, this can often change from battle to battle, but you'll nominally find him posted aboard here.
