Does anyone know Spear of Midnight Black(Darkshear)

As far as I know you'll have to find Kyle Katarn's immortal beard and ask it that one.

Seriously though, good luck on finding someone to teach it! :)

I figured it would be a rare one since the wiki says he only used it, but I don't think it would list a power that could not be learned by others....who knows.

[member="Darth Mierin"] may or may not be able to point you in the right direction. But I don't believe there are too many Masters willing to part with that knowledge. Likely you'd have to work hard for it, earn it.

I don't know anyone in the One Sith that uses it regularly.

Teaching it to yourself is the easiest option honestly. Any force power can be self taught technically, over the course of several threads you can learn of the technique, experiment with it, and eventually achieve results.

I did this on most of my characters :)

Darth Helios has used it at least once in invasions and Exedo in the Fringe knows it. She works for the one sith when they pay her a pound of flesh. I believe Val'ryss might have used it once but it is a master level power few actually go after. Only a handful and they worked hard to learn it.

I use darkshear at least 1-2 times per war-related thread. Sometimes not at all, but it is Helios' signature power. Helios is a master Conjurer and is familiar with most powers that involve Energy being shaped into something whether its spears, orbs, blasts, rays, or what have you. From what I understand, and the conversations I've had with people over the years however, energy manipulation/conjuration is a master only skill set. When the time comes, I would love to teach it to you though. Unless a hand is waved to allow a knight to learn it. Theres been only a few threads where I've been able to talk about the science of it, so I wouldn't mind shedding any light that may be needed if questions arise.

No skill should be defined as a "Master Level Skill" or at least, as a sum whole.

Everything can be learned by everyone, its just everything a weaker character does is well...weaker. Force Storm? Hey that's just force lightning. Force lightning? Hey that's just Force Spark.

The same should be applied to every ability, minus maybe that one that lets you blow up stars.

Just my opinion thought.

I don't have any problems with the tiers and teaching stuff, I've just seen people get so touchy when it comes to Force powers on this site. I have the same views that you do [member="Darth Mierin"]
