Dog Fight! (Ask before you join.)

Why was this happening again? Why did this always happen! One minute he was rescued from the jedi and then not more than a few days after he had passed the council’s approval 13 was taken right off the street. And now he was in some shit hole of a bar in a setting that was very familiar to him from that sand planet. Many men and other creatures sat at bars and drank things that smelled weird to 13. Music played and a large hutt sat on a platform ahead, smoking a pipe that his masters once did... 13 was once again chained and being forced to do things he didn’t want to do. Two man stood on both sides of him as they took him to a large square pit in the center of the room. The hutt eyes 13 and the other men when suddenly everyone in the bar seemed to have their attention turned on 13. The hutt smiled and took another puff of his pipe when suddenly a man spoke.

“Pit fight!” He shouted. The men in the tavern all cheered in approval and 13 was unchained and simply thrown into the pit. The boy fell about ten feet and landed on his back. 13 started to cry as the crowd gathered around the pit and started yelling. Confused 13 got onto his hands and knees looking around terrified. Not more than a few moments later a large muscular man dropped down and landed on his feet. The man had a Mohawk and a think shirt with no sleeves and green pants. Black boots covered his feet and 13 was soon charged and kicked in the face. He screamed and tried to crawl away but the man took him by the leg and started slamming him against the wall of the pit. 13 didn’t know how to fight…not while his collar was still on.

Piraiba

Togorian Barricade
A large Togorian sat back at the bar. His features were hidden underneath a tattered and patch adorned cloak, but his exposed face and forearms were enough to see he had dark fur with black stripes. A few scars graced the flesh he did have out, but otherwise the creature looked inconspicuous in the diverse crowd that had gathered into the underground establishment.

Piraiba turned his head to gaze back at the pit in the center of the room when the commotion started. There were others in the way, but the feline caught glimpses of the two that had entered the ring. A muscular man with a warrior's appearance about him seemed to be immediately slamming a small frightened boy into the pit's wall.

Had this child tried to steal the credit chip out of someone important's pocket? Children were enslaved or killed for less every day. Never the less, the Togorian's heart went out to the kid. He could almost see flashbacks of the children he had watched getting ripped apart in the arena back when Piraiba was a gladiator. Unfortunately for 13 though, this titan feline was a Sith now. Sith only respected strength and most certainly did not go gallivanting into fights to protect or save slaves.

No 13 would likely die, and it was beneath the feline's attention span to watch. Instead the Togorian turned back around to the bar and lifted his glass of whiskey to his mouth to lap his tongue at the amber liquid a few times. It was unfortunate that he couldn't press a glass to his lips and drink like a human. Then again the glass looked much more like a shot glass in his claw adorned hand.

The torment continued for a moment before the warrior simply let 13 drop to the ground as he taunted for the crowd. 13s back began to hurt and he slowly rolled onto it. Looking up at the multiple people simply pointed and laughed at him. At his weakness…at his pain…at his anger. 13’s fist balled underneath him and more tears streamed from his eyes. Did they…think this was funny? Did none of them have a shred of decency in them to put a stop to such barbaric behavior towards a child? This world was rotten…rotten to its core and 13 was thinking just how wonderful it would be to watch it all burn. They wanted barbaric…they wanted blood? They wanted a good show. They were about to get their wish. Every…single…last…one of them.

13 had never done this before. He had never once considered unleashing himself…but as of now. It seemed worth it. He knew no one else here knew that the collar around his neck was the only barrier between the hurt child and the uncontrollable monster. Once that barrier was removed…everything goes to chaos. 13 reached for his neck hesitantly… his fingertips found the metal collar but when he tugged at it he remembered that he had no clue how to unlock it. He was about to try and figure it out when suddenly he felt his breath cut off and his neck was being strangled by his own collar. The boy choked and tried to pull away but he was quickly lifted off the ground by the collar and hung in the air like a strung up chicken.

13 struggled and flailed around. But within a few minutes all the pressure was relieved and 13 fell to the ground. But…something was wrong. He was back on the ground but time seemed to slow down and his senses flared. His vision blurred and his ears rang deafeningly. Suddenly he just felt thirst… a lust for blood. The boys eyes winded and immediately he went from terrified child to uncontrollable animal. 13 swung around at the man who held his collar staring at him as if he were confused.

13’s blue eye went red and he screamed in rage. Dashing forward suddenly and pouncing up on the man, placing his knees underneath the mans arms and places his hands on his shoulders 13 slammed his head into the mans nose over and over and over and over again. The impact hurting both 13 and the man until he heard his nose break 13 then backed his head off and started throwing while and hard punches into the face. He was obviously confused and dazed by the sudden change of attitude and animalistic style. The man reached for 13’s face and tore off a fraction of the bandages that covered his mouth and the boy bared his teeth. The bandages acted as a muzzle so he didn’t bite…couldn’t be helped now. 13 dived back in and aimed for the throat, taking his pointy teeth he tore into the mans flesh and dug in until he reached the Adams apple. Pulling away he ripped out his throt and spit it back out.

The warrior dropped to the ground shaking and coughing up blood but 13 saw he wasn’t dead and continued slamming his fist into his face. Again and again and again until it looked like a swollen plum. What he didn’t notice was that three more men had dropped down into the pit. 13 turned his head to face them and laughed, throwing his arms out his highly unstable force abilities were released and all of them smacked into the wall on hard impact. Putting in bloody hands on his face 13 screamed and he could feel his potent aura growing more and more out of control. Everything around him like glass started to shatter and 13 just started to laugh…laugh at their shock and fear.

"When a wild beast is uncovered, men tend to go silent or run in fear," added a deep bass filled voice that could command a room to silence. Sure enough 13 would notice that the crowd had fallen silent if he could maintain the mental prowess to notice anything besides the blood coating his mouth. It was hard to say whether the silence was from the wild force attacks the boy has just thrown or the imposing almost demonic voice of the ten foot tall Togorian that now stood at the edge of the pit.

The feline's emerald green eyes gazed down at the combatants with distaste before finally he too jumped down. One of the three men who was rushing the boy was starting to push himself up when the giant forcefully stomped a bare clawed foot down onto the man's head. The skull didn't shatter, but the man suddenly stopped movement and blood started to pool under the Togorian's foot. These men were weak and disgusted him.

The feline then turned his attention toward the blood crazed boy as Piraiba roughly shrugged his cloak off. A thick durasteel armor vest strapped with two blaster carbines, a combat knife, and two lightsaber hilts was suddenly exposed. Subject 13 had gained the Sith Apprentice's attention for good or for worse.

"You are ... Sith?"

His tone changed silently to emphasize that he had asked a question rather than making a statement.

A blue lightsaber flared up, announcing Naadi Maaro's presence rather spectacularly "Everybody clear out. Now !" She said, yowled the last word. Between a ravenously violent beasty-boy, a hulking Feline armed with everything but the kitchen sink, and a feline jedi, the normally obnoxious bar full of punks, thugs and other scum and villainy, erred on the side of liking to be living, and couldn't clear out fast enough.

In no time at all, the place was apparently empty save for 3; Naadi, Piraba, and 13.

13 was still going to town on the man with the mohawk as things about the ring got mind of wonky. The loud voice he heard in his head didn't catch 13's attention but when the three men who were behind them seemed to be getting their asses handed to them by some large cat creature 13 paused and turned his head over his shoulder. The feline turned around to face him and asked if he were a sith...13 had no human comprehension at the moment so he had no idea what the creature had said to him. Only thing going through his head was 'Attack, kill, destroy.' 13 slowly stood and walked over the body of the man he had just beaten and looked at the creature. When he smelled the scent of another feline he payed no attention and lifted his arm, and with one quick fling he would attempt to force smack the creature into the wall of the Pit with full force.

Piraiba

Togorian Barricade
Piraiba's feline lips curled back ever so slightly as he flared to catch a new scent on the air. It was a subtle but enticing scent he could only just barely catch over the smell of the whiskey he had taken a few laps of before jumping down into 13's pit of death. There was a feline in the room ... perhaps someone like him. This brought the Togorian's gaze over to Naadi who was clearing out the room with her engaged blue hued lightsaber.

His father had spoken of Jedi Guardians. Was this one of the Order's warriors? He had seen few Sith that didn't use red and certainly none that was fond of Jedi colors. More interesting than that was that she was a feline, though almost half his height and of a flighty slender build. Truthfully Piraiba had never seen another Togorian before. She very well could have been a Togorian herself for all he knew ... except that she had a tail and he did not. That was interesting.

The force attack from 13 had brought the hulking giant feline back from his curiosities. The midichlorians in Piraiba's blood fueled his senses allowing him to react as if he could see a brief moment into the future like all good force users could once properly trained. It wasn't enough to give him time to dodge completely or to nullify the attack with the force. However, the feline was able to throw up a shield strong enough to lessen the blow.

Piraiba stumbled backward and thudded loudly against the pit wall a few feet behind him with an audible grunt. This kid was no knight or master by what he had thrown, but his emotions seemed to make him strong enough to be deadly if underestimated. This only brought the Togorian's lips up to expose a toothy grin. He was enraged that the boy caught him distracted, but he controlled the anger like his father had shown him. It would be his fuel when needed ... it might be soon because the boy was beginning to become quite interesting.

Only ... would he end up with a blue lightsaber in his back? His eyes glanced back at Naadi just for an instant to make sure she wasn't about to land on him.

"A Sith or a Jedi ... but you lust for blood..."

Naadi met the other feline's eyes, and also wondered about his race .... Cathar perhaps ? The cathar, feline as they are, tended not to have tails, and this one didnt seem to have a tail, unless it was chopped off in combat or something. maybe felecatian ? she didnt know enough about them to know, save for the galactica encycolpedia stating that felecatians were also a feline race.

He didnt seem very sithly. There was no overt sith style markers about him , in either clothing, demeanor or weaponry thusfar. She was also not trained enough to read his presence in the Force very well. For all she knew, he could be a jedi battlemaster, or some merc ho had somehow gotten ahold of lightsabers.

Naadi turned off her training saber and started rooting around for the collar. Yes the collar, it was the thing. The Key.

13 noticed the feline did something to block the full force of 13's attack. Tilting his head in confusion 13 huffed out and chest and would attempt force pushed the feline against the wall with all the unstable power he had, throwing both arms forward in a attempt to crush him. If that failed 13 would try to throw the feline into the air, and if that did not work 13 would attempt to jump onto the Feline and head butt him repeatedly. 13 was still unaware of Naadi above, so his only focus was this guy.

Piraiba

Togorian Barricade
Power wrought by emotions were a common Sith practice. 13's ability to process raw amounts of the force through his anger and blood lust gave him strength, but also weakness. A Sith Master had once shown the Togorian how to clear his mind and keep emotions from clouding judgement. Anger could fuel a Sith without making him make idiotic choices if only he could submit himself to the very core of his impulsive reactions. Piraiba was forged on the anvil of life or death. Instinct was honed into a finely edged sword.

Thoughts cleared away and his mind went blank as he allowed himself to merely react. 13 had had enough time to consider the consequences of his choices.

The continuous press of energy meant to crush the cat was countered by as much of a concussive blast of the force as the Sith Apprentice could muster. Just enough to overbalance what was leveraged against him so that he could rush 13. Another blast sent the large feline into the air, but the creature maneuvered his body to land on his feet like any good cat would. It had no affect on his mind, as he was within the void of battle.

Piraiba was upon 13 now, and the boy would find the Togorian's skull to be much harder than the man's he had head butted before if he could get his head ten feet into the air to try... and if he could stop the punch leveled for his chest. The Sith Apprentice didn't have the aptitude to perform force lightning, but he did add a little surprise his father had taught him. Small arcs of electricity moved from the giant's fist in a force shock that would hit the small boy like a taser on top of being punched in the torso by a 800 pound Togorian, if he wasn't able to avoid the attack altogether.

Unknown to the three, there was one more person in that Cantina. And this one had not cleared out. He rose up from his seat and walked to the edge of the pit. He wore a crimson black cloak and ornate armor underneath, clear trappings of a Sith. How could he have been missed? On his face a grin lingered and in his hand he carried his drink. He leaned against the pit's railing and looked down at the combat that progressed in earnest and then cast a glance of the furry creature who had cleared the Cantina.

Yes, definitely Jedi. That righteous anger simmered so clear in those eyes. He raised a glass to the feline.

"To the Grandmaster's health. I have not seen a match this entertaining in a while have you?"

The collar wasnt out here in the - "To the Grandmaster's health. I have not seen a match this entertaining in a while have you?" which interrupted her thoughts as she leap-stood bolt upright and laid eyes on the hitherto unseen one.... Who was quite obviously sith.

She narrowed her eyes and set her ears back at the sight of him. It was probably amusing from his perspective, seeing a jedi (padawan) feline visibly almost literally slip into a mode of paranoia at the draclau announcing himself, as one would slip into an overcoat or hooded cloak. "Do you know where the collar is ?" she asked, obviously hinting at the implication that it was likely skorn himself who abducted 13 away from the jedi temple, and ripped the collar off of him, and tossed the boy into the pit to savage anyone dumb enough to leap in after him.

Atleast, thats what went on in her mind.

Skorn shrugged exaggeratedly. The collar was it? well truth be told he had seen the the mohawked man rip the collar off the boy and toss it aside. And he kinda sorta knew where it was but Skorn always did prefer making a show of things.

"Ya know, you really look too tense. Maybe you ought to have a drink to calm your nerves. Meanwhile why dont I help you look for this...collar?"

The feline did look all too tense, all too ready to pounce on Skorn with all its fury. Not an appealing thought in the least. Skorn had earlier thought it a Jedi Knight but he wasnt so sure now. Hell he wasnt even sure of this guy's gender.

"What say you Brother Claw?"

13 noticed the feline didn't do what he was supposed to do. When 13 launched him into the air he simply landed on his feet behind him. 13 jumped onto him and tried to head butt the feline but after about three minutes of doing so it was clear from the piercing on 13's forehead that he was only doing more damage to himself than anyone else. He was growing angrier and this feline was bigger than 13 so his options were very limited at this point. 13 watched as the feline threw out a heavy punch towards 13's chest and instinctively reached to grab the felines fist. However the force of the strike mixed with the strength behind him pushed 13 away at a very heavy speed. Not to mention that his body tensed up painfully and he was practically pushed away by a stun gun.

13 smacked into the wall hard and he gasped, slipping off the wall and landing on his knees he coughed up some blood and grunted. Fury igniting him 13 stood up and stared at the feline as if he were a psychopathic killer, wide grin on his face and his eyes blood shot as he lifted his arms and in doing so lifted nearly every heavy object in the room. All at once 13 would slam all of these objects down upon the feline. Tables, chairs, everything. Lets see him dodge and attack from all directions.
