"It would behoove you to dig deeper, troop." The voice of Allegiant General Domaric Mordane was enough to make even the most war-hardened veteran cringe, perhaps even as hard as the soldier digging. The trooper's hands trembled slightly, though he tried to steady them, shoveling dirt as fast as he could while the general's gaze burned into his back. Mordane stood tall and motionless, his gloved hands clasped tightly behind him, the cold wind of Kampe's war-torn landscape whipping through his dark uniform.
"You think the enemy will give you time to make your trenches perfect?" Mordane's tone was razor-sharp, every word punctuated by quiet menace. "You think they'll wait for you to feel comfortable before they send artillery raining down on your head?"
The soldier dared not answer, sweat mingling with the dirt smudging his face. He knew Mordane's reputation too well—his intolerance for weakness, his demands for absolute perfection. The general had built his career on discipline, on breaking soldiers down until they became the perfect instruments of Imperial will. To fail in front of him was to invite humiliation—or worse.
"I asked you a question," Mordane growled, his voice dropping to a dangerous pitch.
"No, sir!" the trooper stammered, a momentary panic flashing in his eyes before he corrected himself, his voice rising with conviction. "IMPERA leads the way to victory!"
Mordane's lips twitched in what might have passed for a smile if there wasn't so much steel behind it. "Empire First."
"Always First!" the entire battalion shouted in unison, their voices ringing out like a war cry that echoed across the trench line.
Mordane's eyes scanned the troops with satisfaction. Discipline. Unity. Strength. This is what the Empire demanded of its soldiers, and this is what he would extract from them, one way or another.
"Remember," Mordane said, his voice sharp and cold as the Eriadu wind, "there's no room for hesitation in the Empire. The weak fall, and the strong survive. Dig faster. War waits for no one."
He strode away, his dark cloak trailing behind him, leaving the soldiers to their work—heavier now with the weight of their shared purpose: Empire First. Always First.

HISTORY
Born on Eriadu, or so the official records state, Domaric Mordane's origins are far more complex than those of a typical Imperial officer. In reality, Mordane is a Strandcast clone, a product of secretive Imperial experiments that aimed to create soldiers without the influence of the Force. Stripped of midichlorians and, thus, completely Force Dead, Mordane was designed not just as a military leader but as an experiment in how human strength, untainted by the Force, could be maximized for service to the Empire. His true origins, however, are shrouded in Imperial secrecy, and not even Mordane himself is fully aware of the nature of his creation.
His early life was characterized by rigorous military schooling, instilling in him the iron discipline and tactical sharpness for which Eriadu's elite are known. Officially enlisted in the Imperial Army at the age of 18, Mordane quickly distinguished himself with a brutal efficiency, earning his commission as a Lieutenant before his twentieth year. He was known to follow the Tarkin Doctrine to the letter, embodying the belief that fear of force, rather than force itself, would keep the galaxy in line.
Recently elevated to Allegiant General, Mordane has gained a new level of influence, not just in military affairs but in the political arena as well. With his promotion came access to the inner workings of the Imperial power structure, and Mordane is eager to flex his newfound political power. His vision for the Empire is clear: it must continue to evolve to meet new threats—whether from rebellion, criminal syndicates, or rogue Force users—by fully integrating multi-domain operations and maintaining absolute dominance over all theaters of war.
Mordane's push for reform has made him both respected and feared among his peers. His insistence on rapid mobilization, total war coordination, and the elimination of inefficiency has drawn comparisons to the ruthless efficiency of Grand Moff Tarkin, though some wonder if Mordane's ambitions will eventually extend beyond military command and into the halls of the Empire's political elite.
