The Six States of the Communal Society of Epica
​

YHARWOD​	STATUS: N/A DISPOSITION: N/A RATING: N/A TRADE: N/A OVERVIEW: The agricultural powerhouse of the Epican Commune, Yharwod provides food goods and agricultural by-product's to the whole commune as part of its membership. Holding the largest amount of land yet the least amount of people, the society holds a considerable amount of influence within the Commune Council. This is us. As a result of our large territory and ruralness, we are the only society permitted to form a paramilitary force for defence and law enforcement outside of the Skyo and Desyk societies.
SYKO​	STATUS: ALLIED DISPOSITION: CORDIAL RATING: INDETERMINATE TRADE: REQUIRED BY LAW OVERVIEW: The militaristic powerhouse of the Epican Commune, Syko is home to the Epica Commune's defence force. Improvised and roughly organised, their main jobs is to patrol land borders, airspace and space territory; most of their land is dedicated to housing and training their troops as well as housing vehicles and equipment. As we hold the largest border of all six states, we regularly work in conjunction with the Syko Society to prevent incursions. Though they occasionally quarrel with the Yharwod Marshals, the two states often find themselves at odds regarding the best course of action and although friendly towards each-other, don't get on particularly well.
ARCORT​	STATUS: ALLIED DISPOSITION: FRIENDLY RATING: STEADFAST TRADE: REQUIRED BY LAW OVERVIEW: The production powerhouse of the Epican Commune, home to the legislative branch of the Commune Council and the largest civilian population, Arcourt are the production specialists of the Epican Commune, producing goods ranging from simple weaponry to processing food. Additionally, Arcourt houses the legislative branch of the council and are in charge of producing laws for consideration by the states. As the direct, most prominent trade partners of Yharwod, we are arguably the closest of all states. Their land is dotted with large factory cities with large swathes of countryside between them with each city specialising in different areas of production.
ENEN​	STATUS: ALLIED DISPOSITION: FRIENDLY RATING: TRUSTWORTHY TRADE: REQUIRED BY LAW OVERVIEW: The scientific powerhouse of the Epican Commune and home to the intelligence branch of the Commune Council, the Society of Enen are experts in research and development in all areas ranging from sociology, warfare and medicine. On-top of this, Enen are tasked with both domestic and foreign intelligence projects as a result of their broad skillset. Generally considered snobbish by Yharwod and the rest of the Epican Commune, they are valuable allies and provide excellent advice within the field of agricultural science, improving yields and protecting assets. As the state with one of the highest budgets, the cities of Enen are extraordinarily modern and clean with an impressive array of offices and laboratory spaces.
DESYK​	STATUS: ALLIED DISPOSITION: INDIFFERENT RATING: INDETERMINATE TRADE: REQUIRED BY LAW OVERVIEW: The administrative powerhouse of the Epican Commune, home to both the judiciary branch of the commune council and in-charge of law enforcement, Desyk has the second largest civilian population of the six states. Charged with the task of bureaucracy, Desyk is home to the judiciary system of the Epican Commune and is in-charge of holding court hearings and enforcing the law with its state-funded constabulary services. Generally disliked by all states, the people of Desyk are considered to be ill-mannered and overly blunt. They consistently hold themselves in the highest regard, considering themselves to be elitist and superior. We are regularly at odds with Desyk as its constables consistently attempt to out-rank and out-manoeuvre the Yharwod Marshals and people. Their lands consist of a single brutalist mega-city containing an excessive amount of offices and imposing law-enforcement stations. Most of its people are rigid, busy and inconsiderate.
TYPHE​	STATUS: ALLIED DISPOSITION: FRIENDLY RATING: TRUSTWORTHY TRADE: REQUIRED BY LAW OVERVIEW: The leisure & tourism-oriented powerhouse of the Epican Commune, the sole job of Typhe is to generate money for the national coffers. Hotels, sporting events and scenic vistas are the main themes within their territory. Their land is one big holiday resort with hundreds of large hotels placed within the most scenic locations possible, stadiums capable of seating thousands of people and nature left unspoiled. National sporting tournaments are held here between the six states and sports such as lightball are extremely popular. Yharwod tends to provide most of the food and drink for its events, thus they are one of our biggest trading partners. We generally have no opinion of them, except that they host great events.

HOUSE BORGIAS​	STATUS: NEUTRAL DISPOSITION: UNFRIENDLY RATING: UNTRUSTWORTHY TRADE: AUTHORISED OVERVIEW: The oldest and most powerful of Epica's noble families, House Borgias is at the forefront of the Epican political scene with the widest range of resources and a firm grip over the Epican Council. With the influence of the Ashlan church firmly within their hands as a result of Archbeacon Antonio Borgias having married into the family, they have the capability to sway public opinion on the planet. Although the Epican Commune is seen as a threat the planets feudal system as a result of its democratic nature, we pose no direct threat to them and simply leave us be, for the most part.
HOUSE LAGAN'IA​	STATUS: ADVERSARIAL DISPOSITION: HOSTILE RATING: UNRELIABLE TRADE: UNAUTHORISED OVERVIEW: House Lagan'ia is the second-largest owner of land on Epica, and is primarily responsible for operating a significant portion of the planet's agricultural production outside of the Epican Commune. Directly bordering Yharwod, we are at constant odds with the noble family and are currently engaged in what could be described as a 'cold war.' Extremely aggressive and provocative, they attempt to push Yharwod into an all-out-war in an attempt to acquire our spacious territory. Vandalism, theft and even short skirmishes between the two factions are common, thus solidifying the need for the small Yharwod Marshal Service and Civilian Reserves to work in conjunction with the militaristic Syko Society.
THE PRIMAKOVS​	STATUS: ADVERSARIAL DISPOSITION: UNFRIENDLY RATING: UNRELIABLE TRADE: UNAUTHORISED OVERVIEW: As Epica's largest and most dangerous criminal syndicate, we make an active effort to stay away from the Primakovs. Situated in nearly every major city and many large towns, steps are taken to prevent infiltration of these criminal scum. Supported by their horrific reputation of brutality and violence they will undoubtedly attempt to set up rackets and other nefarious activities in an attempt to subdue us. Avoid at all costs.
TRINIA NATION​	STATUS: COOPERATIVE DISPOSITION: CORDIAL RATING: INDETERMINATE TRADE: AUTHORISED OVERVIEW: The only other member of the Epican Council we cooperate with, the nomadic Trinia Nation wander their lands with mobile cities and camps, moving every-so-often to protect their borders from would-be invaders. As a result they often visit our border to resupply themselves with food, weapons and other necessities, often paying with both credits and services.

ASHLAN CRUSADE​	STATUS: NEUTRAL DISPOSITION: INDIFFERENT RATING: INDETERMINATE TRADE: AUTHORISED OVERVIEW: As a result of the strong Ashlan cultural and religious presence on the planet, we assume that the Ashlan Crusade is aware of us. We expect that intelligence gathered by House Borgias has been passed onto the church.​
GALACTIC ALLIANCE​	STATUS: NEUTRAL DISPOSITION: INDIFFERENT RATING: INDETERMINATE TRADE: AUTHORISED OVERVIEW: We don't believe that the Galactic Alliance is aware of our existence.
