The Lady in Silver/Grey Historian
A gas giant, surrounded by nine celestial satellites that moved slowly around the planet that sat there. Old mining colonies abandoned decades ago, abandoned halls and a graveyard of old ships torn apart by scavengers. Ebaq had at one time been the scene of one of the greatest battles in history, the site that Jacen Solo has taken in his journey down a dark path. But there was also the abandoned efforts to mine the mineral rich satellites that rested in the heavens.Ebaq itself was an odd world, existing at the end of two Hyperlanes and open to so many opportunities but for centuries the planet and its moons remained untouched, most of the moons remaining useless but in those centuries, something had happened to one in particular. One of the moons had begun to grow life, vast plains and a cool air circulating on its surface. It was a marvelous site for a colony and trade outpost, a new world with many opportunities for the People of the Republic and the Core as a whole.
On the planet also existed the ruined remains of Republic and Vong ships, the latter melding with the planets ecosystem, it’s biological nature allowing for the combination of ecosystems and possibly being the catalyst for the increased speed at with the moon grew.
Republic Personnel would be sent there to investigate the rundown Mining Station, see what happened to leave it so rundown and abandoned before mining crews come back and restart of the mineral rich mine, a mission extended to Mercenaries and those looking to gain a bit of knowledge themselves over what happened there.
In addition, republic personnel would be sent to help get the outpost up and running. It would likely be far less exciting, but who knows what creatures might have still made it to the planet without the knowledge of the Republic. After all, with centuries of time for creatures to create descendants and vast numbers, the Republic could be stumbling right onto a hive left over from the past.
