Dominion Rules Modified

Section 2 of the Dominion rules have been modified from:

2. The faction must construct a believable plot for the duration of the role-play and present some sort of opposition for it's members.

To:

2. The faction must construct a believable plot for the duration of the role-play.

Why? Because not every Dominion requires all out NPC slaughter. Plenty before have been social events, diplomacy and other non-combat adventures.

This rule was relevant when it was first written at the very beginning of SWRP, but is less so now.

To clarify, basically nothing is changing besides the wording of the rule. We have had political, economic, and even rehabilitative dominions before. Jedi relief efforts, criminal usurpations of civilian companies, a couple of debates... This stuff has already happened. Frequently.

So basically dominions are going to continue as they always have, doing the things they've always done.

So, were a person to do a thread with 100 posts, could they do a dominion on their own, and then claim that their character claimed a planet?

It'd take a while, but i mean, for the guy who wants to do a 100 post solo-thread / mini novel. xD

it'd be kinda awesome.

I'm not 'dissing (whatever that means)' any faction....I'm just enlightening everyone to the fact that the OS isn't the only one guilty of this.....though despite public opinion most people think that's all OS Doms are about. And support it or not....that street works both ways.....:)
