Dominion Talk

Okay so we've seen some beautiful progression for our faction throughout the months just gone and I can't begin to express my pride in the people who carried on and picked up the buck in my absence!

So now on the dawn of our fresh era I proclaim that we the First Order are to expand our sights yet again and claim what is ours in preparation for the eventual move against those who have been unchallenged.

So what we shall see soon is a new Dominion as we expand towards Hoth and create an Iron curtain along the Anoat sector, in fact I'd be interested in seeing interest in this becoming a possible Tier 3 hex grab or if we go for a double planet takeover?

Let's hold off for a moment. I would like to negotiate a border deal with the Galactic Alliance that could be good for everyone. I'd like to suggest a DMZ zone between the two factions, I'd also like to get us trade and economic avenues with them. [Think the Cold War, but with Economic Benefits]

For you see, we can then turn our aggressions toward this entire backyard of the map that is up for grabs while gaining credits and other things from them. We can leave them alone, for now.

We were looked on with some favor for not going on a 'warpath' like every other faction. I mean, that's not to say we can't send a fully armed battalion to remind Hoth of our love, but please - let us see where talk can get us first. Let us show our love with our words, we could gain three hexes, they could gain two and a half, maybe three we get a buffer between them and us.

Just because we're fascists doesn't mean we're so eager to shed their blood. I mean, when push comes to shove, we'll kill their friends and family to remind them of our love.

Edit:

Imagine it, we could not only build an Iron Curtain. We could blast POP MUSIC OVER IT! Muwahahaha. Ha!

I think we could also use a few more active writers to help us with dominions. We did get to 110 on Lanteeb fairly painlessly, but we did have opposition from the Mando Crusaders that helped bump up our post count.[member="Aram Kalast"]

Can we target worlds on two different hexes in one Tier-2 dominion (so long as we keep to these two planets, and not try to claim an entire hex)? We could do Hoth and Thakwaa then...

I like the idea of Dominioning (to include Hoth) in order to bring some resolution to the Resistance and Natasi Fortan storylines (not to make it all about me ._.). I don't know that this would necessarily have to conflict with the proposal presented by [member="Valessia Brentioch"]. Hoth is the headquarters of the Resistance, which is an un-apologetically terrorist organization. Neither the GA nor anyone else could justify the Resistance's recent actions, which means there would be no geopolitical cost for us to smash the bastards (ahem... remind them of our love).

That's just my thought. Reality and logic means nothing to most people, so who knows?

Okay so thought!

We want to offer the GA something that will make them go...hmmm...we can trade with these people.

What if we offer them the hand of truce for now plus deliver someone they can trial for Eriadu. I think handing them Aram, as a symbol of our 'uneasy' alliance would be suiting, it will deliver a powerful message to any and all.

Thoughts?

First and foremost before we even begin to send Hoth a token of our love. We must come together ICly, and bring Valessia into the First Order's big bosoms. We have to play ourselves correctly and inform the Galactic Alliance that we are merely doing a service for the Galaxy. We want to help but if we lose you to them, then we lose another arm. Now, tell me - is that really worth it? We need our military personnel, and while I'm sure we'd appreciate your noble sacrifice.

We should speak with the honorable Galactic Alliance, and tell them that we are here for them. Then we'll send a fully armed battalion to remind them of our love! I mean, to lend our aid in their holy crusade against the One Sith. We just have to reassure the Alliance that the Resistance truly deserves to burn. That they have indeed thrown away their shot, and we are merely giving them the justice due unto them.

- But seriously, we have like what three military writers? The Knights of Ren are also in need of a huge overhaul, poking and prodding. We need to dust the cobwebs off our military and get some new blood, erm new writers. This peace talk is just to give us time to refill our ranks.

Hand over Aram fucking Kalast to the Galactic Alliance plebs? I say we offer reparations for Eriadu, but let's not get crazy.

[member="Valessia Brentioch"], I'm willing to participate in talks with the Alliance, but I don't think it's something that we would just offer outright. Is there a way you could use your connections to back-channel a meeting?

We'd have to come up with something organically as it stands Valessia has little knowledge of First Order relations and politics so ICly we'd have to come up with a story for that. OOCly that's another story? I'm still a pleb.
