Description: A slightly more ornate than usual Twi'lek headband, this one has had a comm unit built into it that utilizes bone conduction technology to allow for semi-private conversations without an in-ear speaker. A pick up on the back of the jaw acts as a return microphone. While most diadem's of this type simply have all the standard features and limitations of most comm units, Domino has upgraded hers with military grade encryption and enhanced the range to about 200km under good conditions. Due to the sturdy materials its made from, the diadem is capable of stopping a blow, but due to its small size and inability to cushion an impact, using it as actual armor would be tantamount to suicide.
