SPECIAL FEATURES

• Healing Sapphire: The Ankarres Sapphire possesses special properties that aid its user with healing other living beings. It both amplifies Force abilities that revolve around healing and applies a healing effect to whoever is touching it.
• Lightsaber Crystal: The Sapphire can be used in a lightsaber as well, but it does make the healing properties more difficult to apply to someone.
• Light side: The crystal has a natural affinity for the light side, and will burn the hands of anybody touched by the Dark side holding it. Therefore, its owner must be true to the Light, and only if the crystal is bled, the effect can be reversed to burn Light Siders instead.

STRENGTHS

• Healing: The owner of the crystal, which can be worn as a necklace or held in hand, will find their Healing skills to be amplified greatly. Furthermore, the crystal itself applies a healing effect to whoever touches it.
• Cleansing: Aside from its healing properties, the crystal cleanses the minds of those touched by it. This can be used to break someone free from illusions, Dark Side abilities, or other mind-affecting powers.
• Lightsaber Crystal: While the crystal is traditionally used by healers, it can also be implemented in a lightsaber.

WEAKNESSES

• Force-nullification: In a Force-nullification field, the effects of the crystal do not apply anymore.
• Fragile: At the end of the day, it's still only a crystal — it can be easily shattered by weapons or even by just stepping on it too hard.
• Bleeding: Dark Siders can't hold the crystal without their hands being burned, but the crystal is relatively easy to bleed. If it's bled, the burning effect will instead apply to Light Siders holding the crystal.

DESCRIPTION

After the events on Voss, or possibly during, Iris's ever faithful companion Domxite took inspiration from the gem Iris's Master used to create their 'replacement'. The use of Domxite in a lightsaber was something both they and Iris decided was no longer going to happen, after all. Domxite was the one who initially started the process, and together they created the crystal. Synthetic, but a complete replica of the healing gem Master Valery had used.
