Don't go too Hard [Beskar Dev Thread]

@[member="Ordo"]

His ship flew out over the planet of Vendaxa. He knew there were quite a few dangerous species upon the planet. Species that could tear apart a humanoid without a second thought. An Acklay came to mind. Or the Roggwarts, or maybe even Vanx's. They supposedly travelled in packs of five to twenty. Dangerous, he only had a brief description of what they looked like, if he did bump into a pack, he wouldn't be staying in that area.

The starfighter landed upon the planet, and Antares leapt out upon the grassy plains. He saw a treeline in the distance and in the other direction, he remembered the blueness of the ocean he had seen as he landed in what appeared to be the centre of the plain. He felt as if he was being watched, but when he turned back to his starship and so his astromech droid rotate it's head in the other direction, he shrugged.

He felt as if there was something dangerous in the area.

A Jedi...his Wife was a Jedi, his cousin also a Jedi, but what was a lone Jedi doing here? Ordo braced his boot on his kills neck pulled his beskad out of the Acklay's head. It had gone down much easier than the last one. He was either getting good or was getting lucky. The optics of his visor scaled back to 100% normal vision as he sheathed his blade. The Jedi should probably be back in his temple, but no matter Ordo had a curious streak at the moment and @[member="Tracyn Ordo"] still sat resting on Ordo's ship near the lakes.

Ordo started down from the ridge on the east side of the plains behind the lone fighter. The Jedi had better have a good reason for being so close to where he found his wounded cousin or Ordo may not take it well.

The Jedi Knight was unsure of what to do to continue upon his personal mission on the planet. He had thought about animal friendship with some of the animals upon the planet, but he came to the conclusion that he he didn't have a ship to bring an animal with him. An Akk Dog couldn't be found upon Vendaxa, at least that he knew of, but apparently curiousity killed the cat, and he had come to see an Acklay and those other dangerous species.

His senses within the Force expanded around his body, and when he got a sense of Ordo a distance behind him, he felt the faintest signs of a familiar presence. And he turned around to look in the distance and saw the faint figure of Ordo. He had only seen the man at his wedding's celebration, and upon the planet of Coruscant after Darth Vulcanus's attack upon the planet, and that was it. He had never met him personally, he couldn't call him a friend. But he knew he was a Mandalorian, and considering the goings ons, there could only be a few outcomes.

Antares was ready for them all.

Ordo drew closer his C-M fragstorm slung on his shoulder his beskad and lightsaber on his hips. The boy was obviously in tge worng place at a very poor time. Ordo activated his external speakers as he got within ear shot. He didn't have any animosity toward the Jedi. He had always felt the Jedi and the Republic were separate things. However, he felt the Jedi owed Tracyn better than a watery grave and a "we did our best."

"You're a long way from home boy'o." Ordo said his booming voice easily covering the distance. "This is no place to wander about."

Ordo didn't draw a weapon not yet anyway. He didn't know if he could trust the young man who had turned up in just the right place to find Ordo alone. Coincidence was not something he took much stock in.

The Jedi Knight watched as @[member="Ordo"] came closer and he prepared for whatever would happen. He saw the Mandalorian's weapon go upon his shoulder, and he knew he had even more weapons. Mandalorians always did, especially in some secret compartments in their wrists. He would be prepared for a flamethrower or a retractable vibroblade. Close quarters was out of the option if it came to a fight. "Any place is capable to be wandered about. It is just up to the owners to stop those wanderers." He said, obviously making no moves to leave the area.

Tensions were obviously high with the Jedi and Mandalorians, and so Antares said, "why are you here?"

Ordo took his weapon off his shoulder and set it butstock down on the deck. He looked at the young man and then the fighter.

"Was that sass?" Ordo said tilting his head to one side, "I think you just sassed me son."

Ordo was a little surprised. He had seen the Jedi once before at least at his wedding and maybe again on but he couldn't remember when. Ordo did visit the temple often and he had been with the Jedi Order on more than one world.

"It too dangerous for you here young man." He said using his buir knows best voice, "why don't you come back after you've lived a bit."

Dark brown eyes took in the situation at hand. The Mandalorian had taken off his weapon so that he could use it easier. Most likely to cut down on milliseconds worth of time to bring it around to fire. Antares only folded his arms into the sleeves of opposing arms. "It is not sass because I gave you an answer you didn't want." He said monotonously. He didn't need to be questioned by a Mandalorian. They are called bucketheads for a reason. He concluded and he only frowned.

"There will always be a place dangerous for people." The Jedi Knight said, still unmoving, "Stop with the underlying threats. Speak what you want, and state your purposes."

"You don't listen well do you?" Ordo was just aboit fed up with the cocky kids back talk, "I just pulled a full grown Mandalorian warrior out of a lake with a hole in his gut."

Ordo watched for a response but kept going.

"I don't think you understand you're not ready for this place." He said. Lifting the fragstorm and slinging in back over his shoulder. "Now git before I have to put u ou over my knee and teach you how to respect wisdom."

The Jedi Knight looked at the Mandalorian. Things weren't going well for him, but he wasn't going to back down to a Mandalorian. Especially considering what had happened over Coruscant. Antares turned his head to the Mandalorian and his next actions made it seem as if he couldn't hear the Mandalorian. "Mandalorians can't swim?" He asked with a straight-faced, though it was quite evident from his tone he was being sarcastic.

"Actions speak louder than words, Mandalorian. You insult me by only making threats."

"How would you like your pride served boy?." Ordo said as he let the fragstorm slide to the ground and fall flat. "Raw or fired?"

Ordo was already drawing on the force to give himself speed and strength when he reached for his beskad.

'Shhhhhhhhhck' The blade said as he pulled it from it's sheath. Ordo had a better idea now why the Jedi had so much trouble they were as arrogant and Mando's were stuborn. He would have to apologize to Rianna later. For now he would let the young man earn his stripes.

Ordo took a step forward his blade held out and down in his left hand. It was time to learn manners.

Antares watched the Mandalorian continuing to threaten him. No action, and then he asked him raw or fired? The Jedi frowned, the significance of the question went over his head, though the significance of the situation didn't. It was quite obvious things were about to get violent.

The young Windu summoned the Force to him, when it answered he let it empower his body. Speed, strength, and to even form a bit of a force shield around his body. Antares's silver lightsaber hilt found it's way into his hand in less time than a blink of an eye. He didn't ignite the azure beam yet. It was held in his left hand and Antares was ready to strike. Though it did put him off slightly when he saw that the Mandalorian was also left-handed. No advantages here. He thought to himself.

"Teach me manners, Mandalorian."

Antares pointed the hilt to the side and waited to ignite the beam.

'Fool boy' Ordo thought to himself. He wasn't dealing with Sith eels or Jedi ballet dancers. Ordo had earned his place among Mandalorians and he had more than proved his capabilities against enemies of many kinds. It was sad Jedi didn't teach their Knights wisdom before letting them off leash. Ordo stepped forward again and then again as he entered striking distance. His black beskar blade came up from low left toward the jedi's hip with enough force to cleave a normal man in two.

The blue beam slipped out of the silver hilt with the soft sound of whoosh. And when the beskad came down at his low left, his lightsaber came around with enough power behind it to hold back the beskad. Simultaneously, his right hand flew up to the Mandalorian the closer that he came and he released a force push to @[member="Ordo"]'s chest. Mostly to unbalance him, so that when the opportunity came around, he could deliver a quick jab through his chest.

@[member="Antares Windu"]

As windu's hand came up for a push Ordo's right hand came up spraying fire from his gauntlet. The force push hit him but and he let him push his left side back and kept the flames toward the young jedi.

@[member="Ordo"]'s attacks were relentless, Antares didn't want to step back underneath the flames, and he almost didn't, but his force push wasn't continuous, and there were flames flying out after him after they had overcome his force push. It had taken him unawares for a moment, before he leapt backwards with only minor burns upon his right hand. At the time, his left hand had pulled in to his body to secure him from any attacks. Thankfully, none came, so he stopped, just out of range of the flames.

"I believe the last time a Mandalorian faced a Windu, they lost their head." Antares said nonchalantly. He doubted it would come to death for either of them, the Mandalorian was most certainly tasting his abilities. And so he would oblige. He reformed the force shield around his body, threw out his right hand to release a force push with a blinding speed, straight to the gauntlet that had released the flames. And then right behind the force push, he moved forwards and slashed upwards diagonally over the chest of the Mandalorian, with a little bit of a leap to the swing for even more momentum, and a possible getaway from that bout.

@[member="Antares Windu"]

Ordo killed the flames as the Jedi moved out of range. He didn't need to waste his burn. The push struck the Mandlorian and sent him sliding back his boots dug long gouges in the ground as he slid. The slash that came was typical of both Sith and Jedi and against most people instincts Ordo didn't block it. The azure blade swept along his beskar plates and left a shallow furrow diagonally across his chest. As the Jedi made his leap Ordo moved with force imbued speed to try and punch the Jedi in the side of the head while his shoulders were turning with his lightsaber.

From the corner of his dark eyes he saw the blue lightsaber beam make contact with the lightsaber, but he was already blinking and looking away to prepare for another attack, he felt his danger sense tingling along his spine, and then he felt the beskar fist crash against the side of his face. With the little hop that he had taken, it only allowed him to slide even further along the ground, on his right shoulder. Thankfully, his force shield had protected him as much as it could, and Antares got up to his feet quite quickly. He couldn't be left unguarded upon the floor.

Beckoning the Mandalorian forwards to him, Antares waited for the next attack. "I wonder what your wife will think."

@[member="Antares Windu"]

"Hmph." Ordo grunted, "just like a Sith."

Ordo sheathed his beskad and turned to walk away. He wasn't going to play mind games with a kid. We walked toward the Jedi's fighter and took out his lightsaber. The silver cylinder wrapped in nerf leather was long enough for the big man to old in both hands and his armored thumb activated the switch. The bright orange blade came to life and lit the front of Ordo's armor.

"Maybe I should make sure you stay here and enjoy your mouth alone." He said as he swung for the small astromech. Most well almost all Jedi relied on someone else for their astrogation, without the little droid he'd likely be there for a long time waiting for a pick up.
