A quiet evening to enjoy was all Silver hoped for tonight. But it wasn't what she was going to get. A message beeped at her attention. It was unavoidable as she saw who was calling. Silver activated the device to have a Chagrian she was acquainted with appear on the desk. "Hoska, to what do I owe the pleasure of such a late hour call?"
"I have a favor to ask of you. One I won't allow you to refuse since you owe me". He did have quite the position over her. Their last 'job' didn't go so well but Hoska acquired the short supplies for a favor. Saving their bacon, yet Silver only frowned to the coming request. "I will pay you of course, if you are successful."
"Paying us for a favor. Something must have gone wrong in a big way. Tell me what you want us to do then?" Silver hunched closer whilst interlocking fingers. The Chagrian was clearly in trouble to pay.
"Someones stolen something important from Graduxes vault. Snuck into the palace and bypassed all the alarms and traps, got the vault door open. We're not sure how they did it but after I took inventory they only stole one item. A small cube. Blue and silver with a kind of glass that lets you see inside on each side. They call them holocrons, Force users stuff. I need you to track down the thief and get me the holocron back before Gradaxes finds out. Do it, and we're even."
"I'll do everything in my power to get it back Hoska. Don't want to see a friend in harms way if I can help it. What information do you have on the thief, and this holocron?"
"Surveillance cameras picked up a few good images. And I can get you one of the holorcron from our archives. I'll send them to you now. Oh, and on top of it. I'll refer you to someone I know who may also help you, for a fee if you feel you need them. Don't blow this one kid, it's my ass on the line here."
With that, Hoska signed off. Disappearing into thin air before Silver. Something deep in her gut didn't feel right. It was certainly the job, and maybe that chimichanga she had earlier was fighting in there too. This wasn't going to be easy. On Nar Shadda that thief could have already left town, or worse, the moon. Silver swiped the holoprojector from the desk and hid it within a coat pocket. That information would be here in a few minutes she figured. Time enough to prepare a little.
Hoska's info came in to her wrist computer. Silver reviewed it over as she roused the crew to a state of readiness. Jobs were assigned and most set out to scour places like spaceports, popular cantinas, and the high profile auction houses. Others stayed behind to talk to fences and get in contact with Silver's soldiers and to get them on the move too. Silver gave a sigh and relented to the scale she faced. Pulling out that holoprojector she input the contact information for [member="Duncan Pierce"]. May as well hire him if Hoska thinks he's good. And the price is right.
The dial signal rotated around waiting for Duncan to pick up.
