Location: Xolu
On the edge of Concord space, crime remained untouched by the light of the Jedi and continued to run rampant, especially on planets such as Xolu which had a deeply ingrained culture of slavery and crime. Despite his abandoning of the Jedi Order, he had not abandoned all of their values and like much of the galaxy he was uncomfortable at the prospect of sentient beings being bought and sold as commodities.
However, he hadn't come to the planet to get mixed up in the moral conundrum of slavery. Instead, he had been hired to retrieve information on a rival gang so that shipment routes of valuable loads could be hijacked. It hadn't been a particularly difficult job but that meant it didn't pay too well either and it was hardly exciting. The thrill of adventure was one thing he missed about being a Jedi but it did not outweigh the negative emotions enough to warrant him considering returning. He had come to accept that this was his life now.
After disabling the security cameras surrounding the building, he accessed the mainframe by attaching his miniaturised computer to the system via a panel on the roof of the building. It had been secured and guarded but the several guards lay unconscious on the floor. It was only a matter of time before those below became privy to the situation above them and sent people to investigate so he needed to be quick.
His fingers moved quickly across the screen as he worked to decrypt the information, a skill that had partly been taught to him during his time as a Jedi Shadow, though he had had to refine the more illegitimate tactics himself. It wasn't the most dangerous of jobs, or so he thought, unaware of the bounty the Silver Jedi Order had placed on him.
