Appearance: Bal's face is covered in wrinkles, mainly around his forehead and eyes. His eyes are often accompanied by black bags resting underneath. This happens because of late night research that consumes all hours of his life. Once black, his hair is now a light grey, whitening more and more as each day goes by.
Personality: Bal is highly intelligible, and therefore is often sarcastic and can be what is considered a jerk. However when face with a formal situation, Bal can be extremely polite and respectable to his seniors.
Weapon of Choice: Bal will rarely be caught carrying a weapon, and in a rare situation where he is, it will be a standard blaster pistol. All his life he has avoided firing or even drawing a weapon, this makes him unexperienced and unlikely that his blaster pistol will ever be used.
Wealth: Being Chief Scientist for The Orion Corporation allows Bal to have a a high pay check. But Bal's love for Science far out ways his need for money, therefore much of his earnings are spent his private and individual research.
Combat Function: Bal isn't very combat effective. He has no prior military training and with his age doesn't intend to have any at all. If a combative situation does arise, Bal's only chance is to use his science to make some improvised weapons or explosives.

-Intelligent: Bal has a Genius level IQ.
-Science: His fascination of Science has become an unhealthy addiction over the years. Even though it has taken over his life it has given him an extensive knowledge of most sciences, a skill few people will ever have.
-Perfectionist: Many of Bal's products had gone to waste because of his need of everything to be perfect. He often gets stressed and angry if one of his inventions doesn't work or doesn't satisfy his needs.
-Inventor: Part of the reason he was employed at The Orion Corporation was because of his love and natural gift of inventing. It's isn't peculiar to find Dal creating new machines for his pleasure and amusement.
