- The shaft of the polearm separates at the middle if the user flips a small latch that keeps the shaft tightly connected and twist the shaft in opposite directions. After the polearm is separated in this way, the two halves can be used as dual wielded swords.
Modular: The polearm is able to split into two smaller blade weapons, allowing Sahktan to optimize the weapon to his combat situation.
Barricas Oil: The blades and shaft, aside from the rubber grips where Sahktan places his hands, are coated in barricas oil before combat, giving the weapon resistance and vibroblade type qualities.
Weaknesses:
Clunky: Although the weapon can split into two sword type weapons, for the most part it is a tall and large weapon, making it impossible to wield in very small spaces. It can be made into the small blades which are optimal for these situations, but this takes a second, as discussed below.
Slow Process: The process to split the shaft is extremely useful, however it takes Sahktan about 5 seconds to flip the latch and twist the blades apart. This isn't a lot of time, but in combat these seconds are crucial.
DESCRIPTION
After Sahktan had gotten used to his cunning and precise fighting style, he realized that he needed a less massive weapon than a warhammer, but still with the strength of a battle axe. Sahktan used spare materials to construct the weapon, relying on the later application of barricas oil to provide its strength.
