STRENGTHS

• High alpha strike for its class due to an all forward weapon layout and the use of Dragon SCG1 Twin-barrel Coilguns which provide long range armour penetrating firepower.
• Integrated Dragon SCG1 Twin-barrel Coilguns have been part of the design since the start, leading to them being incorporated into the Dragon LF1's armour, making them less vulnerable to EMPs.
• The Large CC-SR0 Stellar-Acceleration Reactor makes subsystem power management easy while providing the headroom for energy intentive modifications.
• Duranium Hull Plating gives the Dragon LF1 an acceptable level of protection even when the shields are down.

WEAKNESSES

• No turrets and low manoeuvrability makes the Dragon LF1 vulnerable to starships that can get behind the Dragon LF1, which will likely lead to the decision to flee the combat area to persevere the crew and cargo than risk the ship in a dogfight.
• The large CC-SR0 Stellar-Acceleration Reactor exaggerates the overheating issues of the reactor design. This leads to an uncomfortably high internal temperature during combat for the Dragon LF1 and if pushed to the limit the crew would require environment suits as the air temperature passes 60 °C.
• The single large CC-SR0 Stellar-Acceleration Reactor gives the Dragon LF1 a single source of power and a simple power distribution system, making it vulnerable to sabotage and being overloaded.
• No separate airlock means the Dragon LF1 must land in a hanger or use an extendable docking tube, which the Dragon LF1 does not have. Damage to both ships is likely if the Dragon LF1 attempts to dock to a normal airlock.

DESCRIPTION
The Dragon LF1 is a combat focused light freighter meant to serve as the mobile command centre for independent captains and teams of operatives. This is achieved by the Dragon LF1's offensive firepower, reassuring defences and a well-equipped interior designed for a wide range of missions.

To cover its weakness to flanking attacks, the Dragon LF1 is deployed in squadrons of 3 when used for direct combat, and are sometimes stripped of furniture and supplies when used in this role.

The Dragon LF1 represents Tygeria Dragon Armaments' first starship design, as suggested by the heavy use of components already on the market, and was designed from the start to incorporate their Dragon SCG1 Twin-barrel Coilguns as a proof of concept. Tygeria Dragon Armaments hopes that the Dragon LF1 will expand their revenue by selling to independent captains without the need for big military constructs. However, rumours suggest the Dragon LF1 serves as the base for a more exclusive model.
