Widow of Mandalore
OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
STANDARD FEATURES
Seeing a problem emerge within Mandalorian Military efforts during several attacks and training ops, River realized there was a need for a multi-person drop ship that could move and deploy a squad without notice. Seeing potential in cybernetics with one such Mandalorian, River began to work on a Dropship that could operate without it’s users, and also allow a Cybernetic pilot to operate the craft with greater efficiency via slave circuits. The first prototype is being loaned to Clan Krayt, as one of their members has the cybernetics to optimize it’s usage, hopefully this doesn’t go horribly wrong. To save on crew space, there are no crew quarters, rather a chamber of cyro chambers will be used for the crew to sleep. As well as a workshop and two cargo bays, there is plenty of room for gear and potential cots to be laid out for additional troopers as needed.

- Turns on a Dime: With several maneuvering flaps and sleek design, the Dropship is able to make near impossible turns and twists, giving it an edge over pursuing fighters and missiles.
- Need for Speed: Deploying a new system of engine tech, the Dropship is able to reach speeds that are considered difficult for a craft of its size, letting it move almost to the same speed as some starfighters.
- In and Out: The Dropship’s sensor and stealth tech enables it to maneuver and slip in and out of blockages, typically without raising too much of a fuss.
- Two Become One:When operated by a cybernetic pilot, the ship is able to integrate it's systems with that of the pilot, making it an extension of their own body.
- Give it some Juice: The cloaking Device onboard the Gunship demands most of the energy given off by the reactor. As such, when in using that device, many of the systems are powered down.
- Please Contact Operator: Using slave circuits as a method to ensure the ship can run with a small crew, the Gunship can be put at risk if a power surge is given off by the reactor; typically when the Stealth Field is disrupted. If a power surge occurs, it can take the circuits several moments to reboot, leaving the ship helpless.
- Don’t Get Hit: To maximize speed, the gunship has limited weapons and armor. It can’t stick around for a fight, and needs to get while the getting is good.
- Software Not Compatible: Intended for use by a cyborg pilot, non cybernetic pilots can use the ship as well, but the slave circuits can prove to be a little difficult to manage in flight unless manually disabled.
