STRENGTHS
- She-Hulk: Alchemized shell spider silk increases Bithia's strength, albeit within limits. While wearing the gown in her Civilian Form (with strength set at the level of an ordinary human woman), she could lift a speeder, but not pick it up and throw it. NB! This effect only applies when Bithia is in her Civilian Form. If she were to wear the Dragon Skin in any other form, her strength would be completely unaffected.
- Self-Repairing: The alchemized silk is also capable of self-repair. This is a time-consuming process, however—the fabric will not sew itself back together immediately after it is torn, requiring several hours depending on the level of damage.
- Overcoat: Dragon Skin's primary purpose, at the end of the day, is to provide protection from the elements. Its highest armor rating is against Environmental damage, but it also boasts considerable protection from Cryo and Flame.
WEAKNESSES
- Force Voids: Any material, creature, or object which negates the Force (ysalimiri, Void Stones, nullification resin, even Force Suppression) can negate the alchemized effects of this garment so long as it remains within range/active.
- Disrupted: This gown provides zero protection from disruptors, which can potentially vaporize it in a single shot.
- Acid: Exposure to corrosives will annihilate the silk and eat away at the armorweave, potentially destroying it if not removed quickly.
- Does not cover the head, hands, or feet.
DESCRIPTION
Somewhere between a long overcoat and a dress, this stylish gown is made from black shell spider silk wrapped around a thin inner layer of armorweave, providing protection from a variety of attacks as well as shielding the wearer from the elements. That is the basic form of the Atrisian-style article, which is designed in such a way that it does not impair the wearer's movement.
But this particular piece of armored clothing has been alchemically altered by Silas Fogg, adding strange attributes. The most notable is that it increases Bithia's physical strength, albeit only if she is in her Civilian Form. The cloth has also been enchanted to slowly repair itself if damaged, but this does not mean it cannot be utterly destroyed.
